High temperature (near a heat source, or inside a car under long exposure of sunlight.).
Excessive humidity. Excessive dust.
Electrical Interference
This instrument contains digital
c i r c u i t r y a n d m a y c a u s e interference if it is placed too close
to radio or television receivers. If this occurs, move the instrument
further away from the receivers.
Turn Power OFF When Making
Connections
To avoid damaging the instrument and other connected devices, turn the power switches of all related devices OFF prior to connecting or disconnecting cables.
Handling and Transporting
Never apply excessive force to the controls, connectors or other parts of the instrument.
Always unplug cables by gripping the plug firmly, but not pulling on the cable.

Physical shocks might be caused by dropping, bumping, or placing heavy objects on the instrument.
Cleaning
Clean the unit with a dry soft cloth.
A slightly dampened cloth may remove stubborn grime and dirt of the instrument.

Avoid placing vinyl objects on top of the unit (vinyl can discolor and stick to the surface).
Power Supply
Turn the power switch OFF when the instrument is not in use. Unplug the AC power cable during electric storms.
