Werking van de POWERMID

De POWERMID

PLUS

set bestaat uit een 8 in 1 afstandsbediening en een POWERMID ontvanger. Deze PowerMid

ontvanger zet de signalen van de 8 in 1 afstandsbediening om in infrarood commando’s voor het bedienen van uw
apparatuur. Hiervoor stuurt de 8 in 1 afstandsbediening hoogfrequent signalen naar de PowerMid ontvanger (door
vloeren en muren). Op deze wijze kunt u vanuit elke plaats in huis uw apparatuur bedienen.

Met de 8 in 1 afstandsbediening kunt u uiteraard ook rechtstreeks uw apparatuur bedienen. Op deze wijze kunt u
b.v. tegelijkertijd de TV in de slaapkamer en de videorecorder in de huiskamer bedienen.

Installeren van de POWERMID ontvanger

Steek de stekker van de POWERMID ontvanger in het stopcontact in de buurt van uw audio- en video apparatuur.
Richt de voorzijde van de ontvanger (met de POWERMID naam) in de richting van uw apparatuur (zorg er hierbij
voor dat de POWERMID ontvanger niet verder dan 4 - 6 meter in het zicht van uw audio- en videoapparatuur staat).
Schuif de telescoop-antenne in zijn geheel uit.

De afstand tussen de 8 in 1 afstandsbediening en de POWERMID ontvanger kan 10 tot 25 meter bedragen,
afhankelijk van de omstandigheden ter plaatse.

Wanneer u de POWERMID ontvanger niet het zicht van uw apparatuur kunt plaatsen (b.v. omdat apparatuur in een
afgesloten kast staat), kunt u met behulp van een optionele MARMITEK INFRAROOD EXTENDER (enkelvoudig
RX569, Art. No. 08917 of dubbelvoudig RX570, Art. No. 08920) de ontvanger ook naast of op uw apparatuur
plaatsen.

Apparatuur in meerdere ruimtes is te bedienen door het plaatsen van extra POWERMID ontvangers (MARMITEK
POWERMID 08903/BNL).

Voor het instellen en in gebruik nemen van de 8 in 1 afstandsbediening is een apart instructieboekje bijgesloten. U
hoeft geen extra handelingen te verrichten om de
8 in 1 afstandsbediening samen te laten werken met de POWERMID ontvanger. Alle commando’s worden zowel
infrarood als hoogfrequent uitgezonden. U kunt daardoor eerst de afstandsbediening instellen en “direct” testen op
uw apparatuur en daarna op afstand de werking via de POWERMID ontvanger te testen.

Opmerking: De POWERMID

PLUS

is niet geschikt voor gebruik met B&O
apparatuur.

PLUS

kit consists of an 8 in 1 Remote Control and a POWERMID receiver. The 8 in 1 Remote

transmits RF signals through walls and floors. The POWERMID receiver converts the commands of the 8 in 1
Remote into infrared signals to control your equipment in other rooms.

With the 8 in 1 Remote it is possible to control your equipment in line of sight as well as remotely through the
POWERMID receiver. Therefore, it is possible to control e.g. the bedroom TV and the VCR in the living room at the
same time.

How to install the POWERMID receiver

Plug the POWERMID receiver into a 230V / 50 Hz outlet in the room where your VCR, Satellite Receiver, Stereo etc.
is located (within 6 meters / 20 feet in line of sight). Point the front of the receiver (POWERMID label) towards your
equipment. Extend the antenna fully.

The distance between the 8 in 1 Remote and the POWERMID receiver can be 15 to 25 meters (30 to 80 feet),
depending on local circumstances.

In case you cannot place the POWERMID receiver in line of sight with your equipment, or in case your equipment is
located in a closed cabinet, add an Infrared Extender (sold separately: MARMITEK INFRARED EXTENDER single:
RX569, Art. No. 08917, double: RX570, Art. No. 08920).

Add more receivers to control equipment in multiple rooms.

Please refer to the enclosed 8 in 1 User Instruction Guide for setting up the 8 in 1 Remote. No extra set-up
procedure is needed for using the 8 in 1 Remote with the POWERMID receiver. The Remote transmits infrared
commands as well as RF commands at the same time. Therefore it is possible to set-up and test the 8 in 1 Remote
by using it in line of sight with your equipment and test it with the POWERMID receiver afterwards.
