General precautions

PRECAUTIONS

To

ensure correct operation the user has

is recommended to lend the chain saw only to people who are
experienced in working with chain saws. Always hand over the
instruction manual.

First users should ask the dealer for basic instructions to become
familiarized with the characteristics of engine powered sawing or
even attend a recognized course of instruction.

NOTE:

for inexperienced and first-time users we recommend the use of
reduced-kickback saw chains for added safety (see “Kickback,

Children and young persons aged under

The engine of the chain saw is a high-efficiency two-stroke
engine. It runs on a mixture of gasoline and two-stroke engine
oil.

The engine is designed for unleaded regular gasoline with a min.
octane value of 91

In order to obtain an optimum engine output and to protect
your health and the environment use unleaded fuel only.

For lubricating the engine use a two-stroke engine oil (quality
grade: TC-3), which is added to the fuel. The engine has been
designed for use of MAKITA high-performance two-stroke en­gine oil and a mixture ratio of only

Zur Gewahrleistung der sicheren Handhabung mu0 die
Bedienperson unbedingt diese Betriebsanweisung lesen,

um sich mit der Handhabung der Motorsage vertraut zu ma­chen. Unzureichend informierte Bediener konnen sich und
andere Personen durch unsachgemanen Gebrauch gefahrden.

Motorsage nur an Benutzer ausleihen, die Erfahrung mit einer
Kettensage haben. Die Betriebsanweisung ist dabei zu uberge­ben.

Erstbenutzer sollten sich vom Verkaufer einweisen lassen, um
sich mit den Eigenschaften des motorbetriebenen Sagens
vertraut zu machen, oder einen staatlichen Motorsagenlehrgang

besuchen.

Um beim Sagen Verletzungen von Kopf, Augen, Hand, Fun

Der Motor der Motorsage ist ein

Dieser wird mit einem Gemisch aus Kraftstoff und Zweitakt­Motorol betrieben.

Die Auslegung des Motors erfolgte mit bleifreiem Normalbenzin
mit einer Mindestoktanzahl von
Kraftstoff nicht zur Verfugung stehen, ist auch die Verwendung
von Kraftstoff mit hoherer Oktanzahl moglich. Dadurch entste­hen am Motor keine Schaden.

Fur einen optimalen Motorbetrieb sowie zum Schutz von
Gesundheit und Umwelt stets bleifreien Kraftstoff verwen­den!

Zur Schmierung des Motors wird Zweitakt-Motorol (Qualitatsstu­fe TC-3) verwendet, das dem Kraftstoff beigemischt wird. Werk­seitig wurde der Motor auf das MAKITA Hochleistungs-Zweitak­to1 mit einem umweltschonenden Mischungsverhaltnis von 50:l

ausgelegt. Dadurch wird eine lange Lebensdauer und zuverlas-

siger, raucharmer Betrieb des Motors gewahrleistet.

Altole enthalten hohe Anteile an Stoffen, deren krebserregende
Wirkung nachgewiesen ist.
Die Verschmutzungen im Alto1 fuhren zu starkem VerschleiO an
der Olpumpe und der Sagevorrichtung.
Bei Schaden die durch Verwendung von Alto1 oder einem
ungeeigneten Sagekettenol entstehen, erlischt der Gewahr-

leistungsanspruch.

Handgriff.

Motor bei mittleren Drehzahlen laufen lassen und mit dem

Handrucken den Handschutz (C/6) in Pfeilrichtung drucken,
bis die Kettenbremse blockiert. Die Sagekette mu8 jetzt

sofort zum Stillstand kommen.

Motor sofort in Leerlaufstellung bringen und Kettenbremse

wieder losen.

Achtung: Sollte die Sagekette nach dieser Prufung nicht

sofort zum Stillstand kommen, darf auf keinen Fall
der Arbeit begonnen werden. Bitte MAKITA Fachwerk­statt aufsuchen.

Melange carburant

Le moteur de la tronGonneuse est un moteur thermique a deux
temps de haute performance. Ce moteur est alimente par un
melange de carburant et d’huile moteur deux temps.

La conception du moteur a ete realise pour fonctionner
I’essence normal sans plomb avec un degre d’octane minimum
de 91

ROZ.

Si un tel type de carburant n’etait pas disponible, on
peut aussi utiliser un carburant d’un degre d’octane plus eleve.
Le moteur n’en subit aucun dommage.

Pour un fonctionnement optimal, ainsi que pour
tection de la sante et de I’environnement, utilisez toujours
un carburant sans plomb.

Le graissage du moteur est realise par une huile moteur a deux

temps (echelle de qualiteTC-3) qui est additionnee au carburant.

En usine le moteur a et6 regle pour I’huile moteur deux temps

Para lubrificar la cadena y el riel de sierra usar aceite con una
adicion adhesiva. La adicion adhesiva en el aceite evita que el
aceite sea centrifugado demasiado rapido de la motosierra.

Para proteger el ambiente recomendamos usar aceite biode­gradable. En algunas regiones las autoridades competentes
han prescrito el us0 de aceite que es biodegradable.

El aceite para cadenas BIOTOP ofrecido por MAKITA es pro­ducido de elegidos aceites vegetales; biodegradables en un

G H E I DSVOO

Om een veilig gebruik te garanderen moet degene die het
apparaat bedient altijd deze gebruiksaanwijzing te lezen,

om zich met de werking ervan vertrouwd te maken. Onvol­doende gei'nstrueerde gebruikers kunnen zichzelf en anderen
door ondeskundig gebruik in gevaar brengen.

De motorkettingzaag alleen uitlenen aan personen
ervaring in het gebruik van een motorkettingzaag. De gebruiks­aanwijzing dient daarbij overhandigd te worden.

Nieuwegebruikers moeten zich doordeverkoperlaten instrueren,
of een wettelijk erkende opleiding volgen, om vertrouwd te
raken met het zagen met een motorkettingzaag.

Opmerking:

Teneinde de gevaren door kickback (terugslag, zie BIZ.

beperken, adviseren wij de onervaren gebruiker om terugslag­verminderende zaagkettingen
Vraag uw MAKITA vakhandelaar.

Kinderen en jeugdige personen onder

motorkettingzaag niet gebruiken. Voor jeugdigen boven
geldt dit verbod niet als zij in het kader van hun opfeiding onder
toezicht staan van een vakman.

Het werken met de motorkettingzaag vereist een hoge mate van
concent ratie.

Werk alleen in goede lichamelijke conditie. Ook vermoeidheid

kan onoplettendheid tot gevolg hebben. Van begin tot eind van
werkzaamheden is een zeer goede concentratie vereist. Voer

alle werkzaamheden rustig en zorgvuldig uit. De gebruiker is
verantwoordelijk ten opzichte van derden.

Werk nooit onder invloed van alcohol of drugs (medicijnen).

Bij het werken in gemakkelijk ontbrandbare begroeiing en bij
droogte moet een brandblusser bij de hand zijn.

Om bij het zagen verwondingen aan hoofd, ogen, handen

of

voeten en schade aan het gehoor te vermijden moet
hierna omschreven beschermende uitrusting en bescher­mende kleding gedragen worden.

De kleding moet doelmatig zijn, d.w.z. goed aansluitend,
maar mag niet hinderen. Draag geen sieraden

waarmee u achter takken of struiken kunt blijven haken.

Bij alle werkzaamheden in het bos dient een

Brandstofmengsel

De motor van de motorkettingzaag is een tweetaktmotor met
een groot vermogen die werkt op een mengsel van benzine en

tweetaktolie.

De motor is ontworpen voor gebruik van normale loodvrije

benzine met een minimaal octaangetal van 91
brandstof niet beschikbaar, dan kunnen ook brandstoffen met
een hoger octaangetal gebruikt worden. Hierdoorontstaat geen
schade aan de motor.

Gebruik voor een optimale motorwerking en ter be­scherming van gezondheid en leefmilieu alleen loodvrije
brandstof

Voor de smering van de motor wordt tweetaktmotorolie

(kwaliteitsklasse TC-3) gebruikt; deze wordt bij de benzine

gemengd. De motor is ontworpen voor MAKITA tweetaktolie
met een milieuvriendelijke mengverhouding van

Zaag kettingol

Voor het smeren van de zaagketting en de zaaggeleider moet
zaagkettingolie met een hechtmiddeltoevoeging gebruikt wor­den. De hechtmiddeltoevoeging in de zaagkettingolie voorkomt
een te snel wegslingeren van de olie.

Om het milieu te sparen wordt het gebruik van biologisch af­breekbare zaagkettingolie aangeraden. In sommige plaatselijke
verordeningen wordt het gebruik van biologisch afbreekbare
olie verplicht gesteld.

De door MAKITA aangeboden zaagkettingolie BIOTOP wordt
op basis van geselecteerde plantenolien vervaardigd en is

hoeveelheid

het olieleidingssysteem en de zaaginrichting te spoelen. Deze
maatregel is noodzakelijk, omdat verschillende bio-olies ertoo
noigen plakkerig te worden, waardoor schade aan de oliepomp

of aan oliegeleidende machinedelen kan optreden.

Voorhet verkrijgen van het juiste benzine/olie mengsel wordt de
olie voorgemengd met de helft van de totaal benodigde

hoeveelheid benzine, waarna de rest van de brandstof wordt
toegevoegd. Voor het vullen van de tankvan de motorkettingzaag
eerst het mengsel goed schudden.

Het is niet zinvol uit overdreven veiligheidsbewustzijn het olie­aandeel in het tweetaktmengsel te vergroten ten opzichte van
de aangegeven mengverhouding. Dit veroorzaakt nl. meer
verbrandingsresten. Deze belasten het milieu en verstoppen
het uitlaatkanaal in de cilinder evenals de geluidsdemper. Ook

stijgt hierdoor het brandstofverbruik en neemt het vermogen af.

GEBRUIK NOOIT AFGEWERKTE OLlE

Afgewerkte olie is zeer schadelijk voor het milieu ! Afgewerkte
olie bevat hoge concentraties van stoffen waarvan bewezen is
dat ze kankerverwekkend zijn. De vervuiling in afgewerkte olie
veroorzaakt verhoogde slijtage aan de oliepomp en het
zaagmechaniek. Bij schade veroorzaakt door het gebruik van
afgewerkte of ongeschikte zaagkettingolien vervalt iedere
aanspraak op garantie.

Uw vakhandelaar informeert u graag over gebruik en toepassing

van zaagkettingolie.

HUID- EN OOGCONTACT VERMIJDEN!

Minerale olieprodukten, ook olien, ontvetten de huid. Bij her­haaldelijk en langdurig contact droogt de huid uit. Diverse
huidziekten kunnen hiervan het gevolg zijn. Bovendien zijn
allergische reacties bekend.

Contact van de ogen met olieveroorzaakt irritaties. Bij oogcontact
direct het betreffende oog met schoon water uitspoelen.

Bij aanhoudende irritatie direct een arts bezoeken!

Prestate la motosega soltanto a persone che sann0 maneggiarla.

La motosega e dotata di un motore a due tempi di prestazioni
elevate. Questo viene azionato impiegando una miscela
composta di carburante ed olio per motore a due tempi.

risultare disponibile questo tip0 di carburante, si pub impiegare
anche un carburante a numero maggiore di ottano, senza
pericolo di danni peril motore.

Per assicurare un funzionamento ottimale del motore e per
proteggere sia la salute che I’ambiente, impiegate sempre
carburante senza piombo!

Per la tubrificazione del motore viene impiegato olio per motori
a due tempi (classe qualitativa TC-3), che viene aggiunto al
carburante.

prestazioni, con titolo della miscela pari a 50:1, che presenta
qualita di maggiore rispetto per I’ambiente. Viene in tal modo

garantita una maggiore durata di vita ed un funzionamento

Olio per la catena della sega

Per la lubrificazione della catena e della guida della sega
bisogna impiegare un olio per catena di sega con additivo di
aderenza. L‘additivo di aderenza presente nell’olio percatenadi
sega impedisce all’olio di venir espulso troppo presto sotto
I’influsso della forza centrifuga.

Per contribuire alla protezione ambientale consigliamo di
impiegare un olio percatenadi sega biodegradabile. In certi casi
le autorita locali prescrivono I’impiego di olio biodegradabile.

L’olio per catena di sega BIOTOP offerto dalla MAKITA viene
prodotto sulla base di oli vegetali appositamente selezionati e
risulta biodegradabile al

Quando viene impiegato I’olio per motore a due tempi

di sega risulti libero, senza contatto con qualsiasi oggetto.

Mettete I’interruttore di cortocircuito sulla posizione
(AVVIAMENTO) (B/I).

Con una mano afferrate saldamente I’impugnatura ad arc0 e

premete la motosega contro

-

lnserite la punta del piede nello schermo posteriore di

protezione per la mano.

Cenno per I’esecuzione con valvola di decompressione:

-

Prima di effettuare I’avviamento, premete in dentro
ante (B/6).

-

Una volta avvenuta I’accensione, la valvola si chiude
automaticamente.

Avviamento a freddo:

-

Tirate in fuori la leva (B/2) della valvola dell’aria.

Spingete in giu

-

Spingete in dentro la leva dell’acceleratore (B/4), fissandola

Tirate piano in fuori la fune di avviamento, fino ad avvertire

una sensibile resistenza (it pistone si trova davanti al punto
morto superiore).

-

Tirate ora con forza e velocemente, fino a sentire i primi colpi

di accensione.

Attenzione:

cm e lasciatela rientrare lentamente, accompagnandola con
la mano.

-

Spingete in dentro la leva (B/2) della valvola dell’aria e tirate

nuovamente la fune di avviamento. Non appena
viene avviato, premete leggermente la leva (B/4)
dell’acceleratore, aff inche saki fuori

Attenzione:

subito in corsa avuoto, altrimenti potrebbe venire danneggiato

Avviamento a caldo:

Spegnimento del motore

(STOP).

Controllate la lubrificazione della catena
