LUXMAN POWER TRANSFORMER:

LUX has long been a highly respected manufacturer of professional transformers. Dating back to 1925. LUX is famous among manufacturers for its power transformers and its amplifiers, and for the utmost in cool-running reliability. To many manufacturers LUX means reliability. FM PRE-SETTER:

Varactor tuning circuits permit manual tuning across the entire FM band as well as 3 preset controls, each of which can be set permanently on a favorite station. Thus, when using the manual FM tuning control, the operator can return to any one of three stations by simply pressing a button. All three preset controls are capable of tuning the entire FM band independently with separate external controls.

TONE CONTROL:

The tone control equalization switches are more than a bass and treble control. With a LUX 900 or LUX 990 the audiophile can contour sound to suit the acoustics of the room by the use of two special 4-position switches: A bass switch that modifies the room acoustics at frequencies of 150 Hz, Hz and 600 Hz; and a trable switch to equalize frequencies of 150 Hz, Hz and 600 Hz; and a trable switch to equalize frequencies of 1.5 KHz, Hz and 6 KHz. The 4th position (off) cancels all circuitry to provide

can be used separately for both channels. Irchiv Vresporse, flexibility required for variation in equaliasting engineers, the individual ear

LUXMAN newly improved Power Board gives you 140W(100W for 900) into 8 ohms, both channels driven at rated distortion of 0.1% from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. STYLING/APPEARANCE:

The appearance and ease of use of LUX products are the results of careful analysis of the receivers final use and human needs.: All controls are laid out logically. Smooth and durable machined-aluminum knobs are used for volume, tuning and tone controls. AM and FM bands "black out" when the receiver is in any other mode. Separate and independent illuminated scales are used for both AM and FM.

Front panel lettering is firmly silk screened, and will not rub off with handling. The front panel gives the appearance, then, of the highly sophisticated instrument that in fact it is
