The instructions below outline how to update the firmware on

the

Connect the Wi-Fi router as per the diagram opposite (connect power to unit
and connect a Network / Ethernet cable from your computer to LAN Port 1 on

Open your browser and type http://192.168.1.1/ into the address bar.

Note if you have changed the LAN address of your router from its default
value, you will need to put in the appropriate address here.

If you find the default doesn't work but you don't know what the right value is,
check your network settings and try the IP address of your "default gateway".

Log in using the admin password of your router (the default on this model is a

username of "admin" with password of “admin”) then click “OK”

Click on the "Administration" tab, then on the "Firmware Upgrade" tab.

Click on the "Browse" button and select the file containing the new firmware
from the folder you saved it in.

Click the "Upgrade” button and wait for the “Upgrade is successful” screen.

From this point, click on the “Continue” button

If the upgrade was successful, after clicking the “continue” button, you
should see this screen.

Click on “Tomizone”

You must now set a password for your Wi-Fi router - choose a password you
will remember. You will need to know this in case you want to make any
configuration changes in the future.

We suggest your password is a combination of letters and numbers. Click
“Set” when you have done this.

YOU WILL NEED TO LOG BACK INTO THE TOMIZONE SECTION OF
YOUR WI-FI ROUTER USING YOUR NEW PASSWORD (AS IN STEP 3
USERNAME ADMIN AND PASSWORD IS [NEW PASSWORD])
