24VAC input, 12VDC output.
Description
The PS-HC1CH30 (hereafter referred to as “adapter”) is a

Figure 2 - Contents of PS-HC1CH30
1. Remove the unit from its packaging. Handle the
bracket only; avoid touching the circuit board.
2. The power adapter installs in the Height Strip with
the circuit board facing away from the Height Strip
Base (see Figure 1).
3. Attach the adapter to an available stud in the
Height Strip (see Figure 1).
3.1. Do not leave the adapter unsecured; it must be
attached to a mounting stud to prevent
grounding electronic components.
3.2. A maximum of three adapters can be installed
to power three cameras.
3.3. If installing an adapter onto an unoccupied
stud, use the M3 nut from the hardware kit to
attach the adapter.
3.4. If the adapter will be mounted inverted and
share a stud with a camera, remove the M3
nut from the stud and mount the adapater
bracket ON TOP of the camera bracket.
Reinstall the M3 nut
4. Route the wires carrying 24VAC through the Height
Strip Base as desired making sure the wires won’t
obstruct the camera view when the Height Strip
Cover is reinstalled.
5. Attach the 24VAC wires to the gray connectors
shown in Figure 2.
6. Plug the DC barrel plug into a camera’s power
connector.
7. Plug both wire harnesses into the adapter as shown
in Figure 3.
7.1. The connectors are keyed differently so the
cables cannot be plugged into the wrong
connector.
8. Use the tie wrap mounts and zip ties from the
hardware kit to provide strain relief to the 24VAC
wires.
