Optional: Remove the SIM Card

NOTE: The SIM card is pre-installed in your smartphone. If you need to replace your SIM card , follow the below instructions .

Place your ﬁngernail in the cutout and pull the SIM card tray out. Place the SIM card in the tray with the contacts facing down. Carefully put the tray back in the slot and push it gently into the phone.

Step 1. Charge the Phone

Your phone comes with a Wall/USB charger and a USB cable that connect together to charge your phone.

Before turning on your phone, charge it fully. Be sure to use the charger that came with your phone.

Step 2. Turning Your Phone On/Off

To turn your phone on, press and hold

the Power/Lock Key for a couple of seconds until the screen lights up.

To turn your phone off, press and hold

the Power/Lock Key until the Phone options are displayed. Tap Power off > OK.

Turning the screen on using KnockON

Quickly double-tap the center of the screen to turn the screen on.

NOTE: The KnockON feature can be turne d off in the Gestures men u. From the Home scr een, tap Apps > Settings > Gestur es > tap the KnockON checkbox .

Unlocking the Screen

1. Press the Power/Lock Key to turn

on your screen. Your Lock Screen will appear.

2. From the center of the screen, swipe in

any direction to unlock it.

• To use a shortcut, swipe the shortcut icon at the bottom of the screen in any direction. The screen will unlock and open the application.

Receiving a Call

Answer - Swipe the Answer icon in any

direction to answer the call.

Ignore with message - Swipe the Ignore

with message icon in any direction to send a text message instead of answering.

Ignore - Swipe the Ignore icon in any

direction to ignore the call.

Dialing a Call

1. From the Home screen, tap Phone .

2. Dial the phone number.

3. Tap

You can make High Deﬁnition Voice and Video Calls with this phone when you add Advanced Calling to your line.

Slide Aside

Quickly switch between three different apps for convenient multi-tasking.

1. In an application, place three ﬁngers on the

screen and slide to the left. The current screen is saved and the Home screen appears. You can save up to three apps.

2. To re-open the saved apps, place three

ﬁngers on the screen and slide to the right. Tap the desired app you want to open.

Note: You must be in an a pplication, not on t he Home screen, to u se Slide Aside.

QSlide

Use the QSlide feature to overlay applications on your phone’s display for easy multi-tasking.

1. Drag the Notiﬁcation Panel at the top

of your screen downward, then tap the desired app from the QSlide apps section.

2. Drag the title bar to move the app, or drag

the bottom right corner to resize it.

Tap to return to full window view.

Slide to adjust transparency.

Tap to exit the QSlide function.

NOTE: The QSlide f eature can support u p to two windows at the same time.

1. From the Home screen, tap Camera .

Audio zoom : Focuses the audio recording on a particular area of your choosing; this will increase microphone sensitivity and reduce background noise.

Setting Up Your Google Account

Now your Gmail, Google contacts, and Google calendar events can all be loaded to your phone automatically.

1. At the Google Account setup screen, tap

2. Enter your username and password or any

other necessary information (if creating an account).

3. Tap the Continue button

4. Follow the setup tutorial.

Access Voice Mail

1. From the Home screen, tap Phone .

2. Dial *86.

4. Enter your password and follow the prompts.

From any phone—Dial your wireless number. When you hear the greeting, press interrupt and follow the prompts.

NOTE: Voice mailboxes not set up within 45 days wi ll be canceled. Your voice mailbox is not password protec ted until you crea te a password by following the setup tutorial.

Location Based Services

This phone can determine its location, which is useful for services such as navigation, shopping and weather. For your safety, it’s defaulted to only acquire your location when you dial 911. To use Location Based Services, from the Home screen, tap > Settings
