7. VOD (Video On Demand) : 양방향 멀티미디어 서비스의 하나로 사용자가 원하는 멀티미디어 정보를
선택적으로 서버로부터 전송 받아 재생하는 서비스
8. Streaming 방식 : 수신측에서 음성이나 영상, 애니메이션등을 어느 정도 저장(Buffering)한다음실시간
으로 화면에 Play하는 방법으로 전송구간의 속도변화가 생길 경우, 저장된 미디어를 Play하고 그 동안
다시 전송구간의 속도가 회복되면 정상적인 속도로 재생이 되는 방식이다. 재생 내용이 길어 Down
Load 받는데 시간이 많이 걸리는 경우에 편리하나 중간에 전송구간의 속도가 낮아질 경우 재생이
지연되는 단점이 있다.
9. Down Load 방식 : Video Clip의 재생구간이 짧아 전체 데이터의 크기가 크지 않을 경우 Clip 전체를
내려 받은 후 재생하는 방식이다. 서버에 저장된 원본과 동일한 멀티미디어를 재생할 수 있는 장점이
있는 반면, 원하는 멀티미디어를 선택한 후 긴 대기시간과 큰 저장공간이 필요하다.
10. TFT-LCD ( Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display ) : FET Transistor 를 얇은 막 위에 위치 시키고
이를 이용하여 액정 양단에 걸리는 전압 크기를 조절하여 Pixel 각각의 밝기를 조절하는 방식의 LCD

23. MPEG-4 (Moving Picture Experts Group -Standard 4) : 비디오 및 오디오 코딩 및 전송망과의 접속을
정의하는 국제 규격의 하나로 ISO/IEC 14496-1 에 정의되어 있으며 1999 년 1 월에 버전 1 이 완료되어
현재 인터넷에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 멀티미디어 코딩 방법이다. MPEG-2 와는 달리 상대적으로
저속에 적합하게 개발되었으며 5Kbps에서 10Mbps 급의 멀티미디어 전송에 목적을 두고 있다.
24. WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) : 현재 PC 등에서 사용하는 Explorer 와 같은 기능을 이동통신을
통해 구현하기 위해 필요한 Protocol 이다. WAP 은 작은 화면의 이동단말기에서 처리하기 쉽도록 처리
하는 데이터량을 많이 축소한다
25. MOD (Music On Demand) : 양방향 멀티미디어 서비스의 하나로 음악을 검색하고 원하는 음악을
요구하여 재생하는 양방향 통신서비스.
26. Digital Camera : Camera 로 화상을 받아들여 그 신호를 디지털 데이터로 변환하고 그래픽 파일로
메모리에 저장, 촬영한 사진을 화면을 통해 즉시 확인할 수 있으며, 컴퓨터를 통해 편집, 출력 등
다양한 자료처리가 가능.
27. Camcorder : 카메라(Camera)와 리코더(Recorder)의 합성어로 녹화 재생 기능을 갖춘 비디오 카메라
28. OTA (Over The Air) : 시스템에서 단말기로 단말기에 필요한 파라미터를 설정하는 서비스이다.
ESN (Electronic Serial Number)와 IMSI(International Mobile Subscriber Identity), A_Key, Service
