BACKGROUND
This Service Bulletin has been issued to advise that a Warranty Extension Program has been introduced to support cracked or sticky/melted
instrument panels on certain RX330, RX350, RX400h, IS250 and LS460 vehicles sold in Australia.
DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION
On some vehicles, under certain circumstances, including a combination of high humidity and high temperatures, the surface of the instrument
panel may become cracked and or sticky/melted over time. In certain circumstances front and/or rear door trims may also exhibit this
condition. This condition does not have any effect on the instrument panel structure or operation of associated parts including airbags which is
purely cosmetic in nature.

Vehicles involved are listed in the VIN table below.

ELIGIBILITY
Vehicles found in the VIN table that are exhibiting the cracking/sticky conditions listed above will need to be inspected by a Lexus Dealer to
determine if they are eligible for this activity.

PROTECTED
WARRANTY SUPPORT PERIOD
Vehicle is within the VIN table and within Ten (10) years of age regardless of KM’s travelled from the date of first registration.
REMEDY
Your Lexus Dealer will inspect your vehicle to confirm eligibility, the condition and will conduct any necessary repairs or part replacement
related to this specific condition.
INFORMATION FOR OWNERS
Owners who experience the condition described above are advised to contact their local authorised Lexus dealership. The dealership will
need to verify the condition and vehicle eligibility.
Owners are advised to have their VIN available when contacting their Lexus Dealers.
If their vehicle is eligible for this Warranty Extension Program, a Lexus Dealer will make an appointment to confirm/complete this activity on
their vehicle.
