The energy-saving system solution for integrated incident light illumination in stereomicroscopy

Living up to Life

Leica LED3000 RL: control of a mainboard without accessories – reflections on the metal contacts

Leica LED3000 RL with diffuser – more uniform illumination, reflections are reduced

Leica LED3000 RL with crossed polarizers: reflections on the soldered joints are almost completely eliminated

Plug contacts with a faulty pin – uniform illumination of the specimen with Leica LED3000 RL ring light

The Compact Ring Light

The highly compact Leica LED3000 RL ring ight uses latest-generation LEDs and a focusing lens specially developed by Leica. Microsystems This increases the brightness and homogeneity of the illumination. The Leica LED3000 RL is wellsuited for a variety of routine applications. Conveniently adjustable segments (full, half, quarter ring) provide new data about the specimen without having to move it.

Very compact design offers easier side access to the specimen

For objectives with a 58 mm diameter

Very uniform illumination of large object fields

Latest-generation white LEDs for high color fidelity

Extra information gained by adjustable segments

Optional control of all functions via Leica Application Suite (LAS) software

Accessories: diffuser and polarization set

Optimized for working distances from 65 mm to 150 mm

Leica LED3000 NVI

The Vertical LED Light

The Leica LED3000 NVIis used above all for viewing recesses and bores (see figures), since the light strikes the specimen nearly vertically. Unlike a coaxial illuminator, for example, it even illuminates weakly reflecting and uneven specimens.

Ideal for viewing recesses and bores

A highly efficient light guide produces a higher image brightness than with a conventional 150W halogen lamp

Simple operation through minimized shadows caused by tools

Even light through 2-point illumination

Compact design – great accessibility to the specimen

Optional control via Leica Application Suite (LAS) software

Leica LED3000 NVI: glimpse into a USB memory stick

Enlarged detail of an injection nozzle – left: with Leica LED3000 NVI, right: with conventional ring light

Leica LED3000 NVI: the recess of a tool is illuminated all the way to its bottom (center of the image)

Illumination with a conventional ringlight: the tool‘s recess is not illuminated and thus cannot be examined

The Universal Ring Light

The Leica LED5000 RL ring light illuminates specimens very brightly with 48 LEDs simultaneously and provides uniform light. This makes the Leica LED5000 RL a universal illumination solution for various applications. Conveniently adjustable segments (full, half, quarter ring) provide additional data about a specimen without having to move it. The controls (brightness and segment controls) are comfortably accessed on the ring light itself and allow fatigue-free work for hours.

Very uniform illumination of the specimen

Brightness comparable to 150 W halogen illumination

Extra information provided by adjustable segments

Optional control via Leica Application Suite (LAS) software

Reproducible illumination settings save time

For objectives with an 80 mm diameter (0.63× and 1.0× planapochromatic)
