After Every Use (also see owner’s manual, p. 73)
Steam Arm
- Wipe the milk off the Steam arm after every use with a wet cloth
- Open the knob long enough to expel old milk
Portafilter cleaning
- Insert a Portafilter (10) without Capsule.
- Hit Espresso to flush the filter.
- Hit Stop as water comes out clean.
Brew Group Backflush
- Insert the Blind Portafilter (8)
- Hit Espresso and let flush the group for few seconds
- Repeat this operation two or three times

Daily cleaning
Automatic Frother
- Immerse the hose into solution of water and proper detergent (p/n 10066357)
- Hold Stop/Prog pressed for 8 seconds
- As the light flashes press Stop/Prog to start (30 seconds)
- When done, immerse the hose into cold water then repeat
- If the air inlet hole (3) is clogged, carefully clean it with a needle.
Draining trays and cup holders
- Remove the draining tray and the cup holders from the machine and rinse clean with hot water
Draining Line
- Pour 8oz cup of cold water into the draining cup to prevent residues to dry out, clog the line and generate smells
Body and panels
Use a wet cloth to clean out the exterior. Do not use detergents.

Weekly cleaning and maintenance
Upper perforator removal
- Unscrew the screw (A).
- Loosen the ring (E) and remove perforator (C), spring (B) and gasket (D) from the brewing unit.
- Rinse in hot water.
ATTENTION: During cleaning be careful with the tips of the capsule perforator located inside the clamping ring of the unit.
Brew Group (also see owner’s manual, p.73)
- Put some PuliCaf (p/n 10066360) into the Blind Portafilter
- Execute the Backflush until water comes out of the drain clean
- Remove the portafilter and hit Espresso a couple times to eliminate detergent residue

Steam Arm

- Unscrew the tip of the Steam arm
- Check the holes of the tip and clean them out with a small needle
- Rinse with hot water then screw the tip in.

Do not leave the portafilter immersed either in water or any solution
Do not use any espresso machine cleaner to clean the portafilter. Instead, follow
the daily instructions
Do not leave the portafilter inserted. Remove, rinse in cold water then stow it onto
the cup warmer.
Before brewing, insert the portafilter, hit Espresso and Stop after few seconds. This
will bring the portafilter to temperature after long time of no use.
Do not hit the upper piercing crown and its spring with the portafilter or any other
hard surface.
Do not hit the portafilter to discharge the capsule, just flip it upside down.
