Destinazione d’uso:
Questo apparecchio è destinato ad essere utilizzato nelle applicazioni domesti-
che e similari quali:
– nelle zone per cucinare riservate al personale nei negozi, negli uffici e in altri
ambienti professionali;
– nelle fattorie;
– utilizzo da parte di clienti di alberghi, motel e altri ambienti a carattere residenziale;
– negli ambienti tipo bed and breakfast.
È vietato qualunque utilizzo improprio (non descritto nelle presenti istruzioni).
È vietato apportare modifiche tecniche. L’apparecchio può essere utilizzato da
bambini di età non inferiore a 8 anni e da persone con ridotte capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali, o prive di esperienza o della necessaria conoscenza, purché
sotto sorveglianza oppure dopo che le stesse abbiano ricevuto istruzioni relative
all’uso sicuro dell’apparecchio e alla comprensione dei pericoli ad esso inerenti.
I bambini non devono giocare con l’apparecchio. Tenere l’apparecchio e il suo
cavo fuori dalla portata di bambini di età inferiore agli 8 anni.
La pulizia e la manutenzione destinata ad essere effettuata dall’utilizzatore non
deve essere effettuata da bambini senza sorveglianza.
Ubicazione:
Sistemare la macchina per caffè in un posto sicuro, dove nessuno possa rove-
sciarla o venirne ferito. Non tenere la macchina a temperatura inferiore a 4° poi-
ché il gelo potrebbe danneggiarla. Non usare la macchina per caffè all’aperto.
Non posare la macchina su superfici molto calde e/o nelle vicinanze di fiamme
libere.
Alimentazione di corrente:
Collegare la macchina per caffè soltanto ad una presa di corrente adeguata. La
tensione deve corrispondere a quella indicata sulla targhetta della macchina.
Cavo d’alimentazione:
Non usare la macchina per caffè se il cavo d’alimentazione è difettoso. Se il cavo
d’alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve essere sostituito da un cavo disponi-
bile presso il costruttore o il suo servizio assistenza, in modo da prevenire ogni
rischio. Non far passare il cavo d’alimentazione per angoli e su spigoli vivi, sopra
oggetti molto caldi e proteggerlo dall’olio. Non portare o tirare la macchina per
caffè tenendola per il cavo. Non estrarre la spina tirandola per il cavo; non toccarla
con le mani bagnate. Evitare che il cavo d’alimentazione cada liberamente da
tavoli o scaffali
.
Pericolo di folgorazione:
Non mettere mai a contatto dell’acqua le parti sotto corrente.
Questo apparrecchio non deve essere immerso nell’acqua.
Protezione d’altre persone:
Tenere i bambini sotto supervisione, per evitare che giochino con l’apparecchio.
I bambini non si rendono conto del pericolo connesso agli elettrodomestici. Non
lasciare alla loro portata i materiali utilizzati per imballare la macchina.

SICUREZZA
Pericolo d’ustioni:
Non toccare le parti calde (gruppo portacapsula, etc.) subito dopo l’uso dell’ap-
parecchio. Durante l’erogazione della bevanda prestare attenzione ad eventuali
schizzi di liquido caldo.
Pulizia:
Prima di pulire la macchina, è indispensabile scollegare la spina dalla presa di
corrente ed aspettare che la macchina si raffreddi. Non immergere la macchina
nell’acqua! È severamente vietato cercare d’intervenire all’interno della macchi-
na. Sostituire l’acqua nel serbatoio dopo 3 giorni di inutilizzo. Per evitare di dan-
neggiare l’apparecchio non utilizzare detergenti alcalini per la pulizia, bensì un
panno morbido e un detergente delicato.
Custodia della macchina:
Quando la macchina rimane inutilizzata per un periodo prolungato, staccare la
spina dalla presa e custodirla in luogo asciutto e non accessibile ai bambini. Pro-
teggerla dalla polvere e dallo sporco.
Riparazioni / Manutenzione:
Nel caso di guasti, difetti o sospetto di difetto dopo una caduta, staccare subito
la spina dalla presa. Non mettere in funzione una macchina difettosa. Soltanto
i Centri di Assistenza Autorizzati possono effettuare interventi e riparazioni. Nel
caso di interventi non eseguiti a regola d’arte, si declina ogni responsabilità per
eventuali danni.
Serbatoio acqua:
Immettere nel serbatoio soltanto acqua fresca potabile non gassata. Non mette-
re in funzione la macchina se l’acqua non supera almeno il livello minimo indica-
to sul serbatoio.
Vano capsule:
Nel vano capsule devono essere inserite solo capsule Lavazza ESPRESSO POINT;
non inserire le dita o qualsiasi altro oggetto. Le capsule sono da usarsi una sola
volta.
Smaltimento della macchina a fine vita:
INFORMAZIONE AGLI UTENTI: il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato
sull’apparecchiatura o sulla sua confezione indica che il prodotto alla fine del-
la propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti.
L’utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire l’apparecchiatura giunta a fine vita agli ido-
nei centri di raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti elettrici ed elettronici.
L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura
dismessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente
compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e
sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta
l’apparecchiatura.
Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta l’applica-
zione delle sanzioni amministrative previste dalla normativa vigente.

PREDISPOSIZIONE MACCHINA
Non si assumono responsabilità per eventuali
danni in caso di:
• impiego errato e non conforme agli scopi
previsti;
• riparazioni non eseguite presso centri
d’assistenza autorizzati;
• manomissione del cavo d’alimentazione;
• manomissione di qualsiasi componente
della macchina;
• impiego di pezzi di ricambio e accessori
non originali;
• mancata decalcificazione;
• stoccaggio in locali al di sotto di 4°C;
• utilizzo di capsule differenti da quelle
indicate.
In questi casi viene a decadere la garanzia.
AVVIAMENTO MACCHINA
Posizionare la macchina su una superficie piana e
stabile, lontano da acqua e fonti di calore. Scolle-
gare l’alimentazione elettrica se presente. I danni
causati alla macchina a causa della mancata os-
servanza di queste indicazioni non sono coperti da
garanzia.
L’utilizzo di un filtro dell’acqua
(accessorio opzionale)
migliora la qualità dell’acqua
e allunga la durata
dell’apparecchio.

Sollevare il serbatoio dell’acqua ed aprire il co-

Risciacquare il serbatoio prima di utilizzarlo.

Riempire il serbatoio dell’acqua fino al livello
MAX indicato, usando soltanto acqua fresca po-
tabile non gasata.

Acqua calda nonché altri liquidi possono dan-
neggiare il serbatoio. Non mettere in funzione la
macchina senza acqua: accertarsi che l’acqua sia
superiore al livello MIN indicato.
Inserire il cavo di alimentazione e premere l’in-

terruttore generale portandolo in posizione I.
I pulsanti di erogazione lampeggiano in se-
quenza.
Quando i pulsanti sono accesi fissi, la macchina
è pronta.
PREPARAZIONE CAFFÈ

EROGAZIONE CAFFÈ
La macchina non eroga finché non è in tempe-
ratura.
I pulsanti di erogazione lampeggiano in sequen-
za durante il ciclo di riscaldamento.
La macchina è pronta quando la leva è in posizione
di riposo e i pulsanti erogazione sono accesi fissi.
Al primo avviamento effettuare un’erogazione di
almeno 0,5 litri d’acqua senza capsula.
Posizionare la tazza/tazzina sotto il beccuccio

erogatore caffè.
Non introdurre le dita od oggetti nel vano inseri-
mento capsule.
La macchina dispone di 2 pulsanti pre-dosati ed
3
un tasto di erogazione libera.
Dosaggio corto
Dosaggio lungo
Dosaggio libero: una volta raggiunta la
quantità desiderata interrompere l’eroga-
zione premendo nuovamente il pulsante
erogazione caffè.
Per utilizzare tazze, tazzine e contenitori di diverse
dimensioni è possibile rimuovere il cassetto racco-
gli gocce superiore usando l’apposita presa.
Sollevare la leva caricamento capsule ed inseri-

re la capsula nell’apposito vano esercitando una
leggera pressione.
Abbassare la leva caricamento capsule e preme-
4
re uno dei pulsanti erogazione caffè.
STAND-BY
La macchina dopo 30 minuti di inutilizzo entra in
modalità stand-by e il pulsante dosaggio libero
lampeggia.
Per riattivare la macchina premere uno dei pul-
santi di erogazione o aprire la leva di inserimento
capsule.

MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
Assicurarsi sempre che l’alimentazione elettrica
sia scollegata ed attendere il raffreddamento della
macchina.
Non lasciare l’acqua nel circuito e nel serbatoio per
più di 3 giorni, se questo dovesse accadere svuota-
re, sciacquare e riempire nuovamente il serbatoio
con acqua fresca, quindi effettuare un’erogazione
(senza capsula) prima di erogare il caffè o una
bevanda. Svuotare e pulire ogni due/tre giorni o
dopo 10 caffè erogati il cassetto capsule usate.
Mai utilizzare detergenti alcalini, solventi, alcool
o sostanze aggressive o forni per l’asciugatura dei
componenti della macchina. Lavare i componenti
(esclusi quelli elettrici) con acqua fredda/tiepida e
panni/spugne non abrasive.

Estrarre il cassetto raccogli gocce/vano capsule

usate utilizzando l’apposita presa.
Verificare periodicamente che il cassetto capsule
non sia pieno al fine di evitare malfunzionamenti
e danni alla macchina.
È possibile pulire i cassetti raccogli gocce inferio-
3
re e superiore sollevando le apposite griglie. La-
vare e asciugare tutte le parti prima di rimontarle.
DECALCIFICAZIONE
La formazione di calcare è una normale conse-
guenza dell’uso dell’apparecchio; la decalcifica-
zione è necessaria ogni 3-4 mesi di utilizzo della
macchina e/o quando si osserva una riduzione
della portata dell’acqua.
Per eseguire la decalcificazione, si può utilizzare un
prodotto decalcificante per macchine da caffè di
tipo non tossico e/o nocivo, comunemente reperi-
bile in commercio.
Rimuovere la vaschetta interna raccogli capsule
2
per togliere le capsule esauste.
Non utilizzare in nessun caso l’aceto come decalci-
ficante.
Svuotare il serbatoio e riempirlo con una solu-

zione di decalcificante e acqua come specifica-
to sulla confezione del prodotto decalcificante,
accendere la macchina e mettere un contenito-
re sotto l’erogatore.
Premere il pulsante erogazione caffè ed erogare
2
una tazza.
Spegnere la macchina, lasciare riposare 10-15
3
minuti e ripetere le operazioni [2] e [3] finché il
serbatoio è vuoto.
Lavare e riempire il serbatoio con acqua fresca
4
potabile, riposizionarlo e mettere un contenito-
re sotto l’erogatore.
Attendere il riscaldamento della macchina, pre-
5
mere il pulsante erogazione caffè fino a vuotare
il serbatoio.
IMPOSTAZIONE DOSI PULSANTI EROGAZIONE PRE-DOSATI
Premere e mantenere premuto il pulsante di erogazione che si vuole modificare per almeno 3 secondi. La
1
macchina emetterà un segnale attraverso il LED lampeggiante (1 secondo acceso e 1 secondo spento).
Rilasciare il pulsante (l’erogazione ha inizio).

Una volta raggiunta la quantità desiderata di caffè, interrompere l’erogazione, premendo lo stesso pulsante.
3
• La dose minima impostabile è di 20 cc.
• Se la programmazione non termina entro 110 secondi verrà interrotta automaticamente l’erogazione. La
macchina emetterà un segnale attraverso il LED lampeggiante (1 secondo acceso e 1 secondo spento) e
rimarrà in memoria l’ultima dose precedentemente impostata.
• Per riportare le dosi impostate ai valori di fabbrica premere e mantenere premuto contemporaneamente
i due pulsanti di erogazione predosata per 5 secondi.

SAFETY
Purpose of appliance:
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
Any improper use, not provided for by these instructions, is strictly forbidden.
Likewise, no technical modification must be made. The machine may not be used
by children under 8 years of age or persons with physical, sensory or mental im-
pairment, or lacking the necessary experience, unless supervised or after being in-
structed in the safe use of the machine and understanding the potential dangers.
Do not let children play with the machine. Keep the machine and its mains lead
out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
The necessary cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children if
not under direct supervision.
Location:
Position the coffee machine in a safe place where no one can overturn it or be
harmed by it. Do not keep the machine at temperatures below 4°C
(39,2°F)
since
freezing could damage it. Do not use the coffee machine outside. Do not put the
machine on very hot surfaces and/or near open flames.
Power supply:
Connect the coffee machine to an adequate power supply socket. The voltage
should correspond to that indicated on the machine’s plate.
Power cable:
Do not use the coffee machine if the power cord is defective. Should the power
cord be damaged, have it replaced with a cable available at the manufacturer or
at the relevant service centre in order to avoid any hazard. Do not pass the power
cord around corners, over sharp edges or over hot objects and keep it away from
oil. Do not use the power cord to carry or pull the coffee machine. Do not pull out
the plug by pulling on the power cord or touch it with wet hands. Do not let the
power cord hang freely from tables or shelves.
Danger of electrocution:
Never bring live electrical parts into contact with water.
Do not immerse the machine in water.
Protection of others:
Keep children under supervision and do not allow them to play with the machine.
Children do not understand the dangers inherent in electrical appliances. Do not
leave the machine’s packing materials within reach of children.
Danger of burns:
Do not touch the hot parts (the capsule holder, etc,) just after using the machine.
Be careful of hot liquid spurting while the coffee is issuing from the spout.
SAFETY
Cleaning:
Before cleaning, unplug the machine and let it cool down. Do not immerse the
machine in water! It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the internal parts of the
machine. Change the water in the tank if not used for 3 days. To prevent damage
to the appliance do not use alkalinecleaning agents when cleaning, use a soft
cloth and a mild detergent.
Care of the machine:
When the machine is unused for a prolonged period of time, unplug the machine
and store it in a dry place out of the reach of children. Protect it from dust and dirt.
Repairs / Maintenance:
In case of malfunction, defects or suspected defects after it has been dropped,
unplug the machine immediately. Do not operate a defective machine. Only Au-
thorised Service Centres can intervene and make repairs. In case of repairs which
are not done up to standard, the company declines all responsibility for any dam-
ages.
Water tank:
Fill the tank only with cold fresh, non-bubbly drinking water. Do not operate the
machine if the water is not above at least the minimum level indicated on the
tank.
Capsule insertion space:
Only Lavazza ESPRESSO POINT capsules must be inserted in the capsule insertion
space , do not insert fingers or any other object. Capsules are to be used only
once.
Disposal of the machine at the end of its life:
INFORMATION FOR THE USER: the symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin on
the appliance or its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of
separately from other waste at the end of its operational life.
The user must therefore take the appliance to be disposed of to an appropri-
ate separate collection centre for electrical and electronic equipment.
Appropriate separate collection for the dismantled appliance being subse-
quently sent out for recycling, treatment and for environmentally friendly dis-
posal, contribute to the prevention of possible negative effects on the envi-
ronment and on human health, and encourage recycling of the materials the
appliance is made of.
Specific administrative sanctions provided for by current regulations will be
applied for illicit disposal of the product by the user

MACHINE SET-UP
The company will not be responsible for any
damages in the following cases:
• incorrect use and not in conformity with the
intended purpose;
• repairs made by other than an authorised
service facility;
• tampering with the power cable;
• tampering with any part of the machine;
• use of spare parts and accessories other
than the originals;
• failure to decalcify;
• storage in a place at a temperature below 4°C
(39,2°F);
• use of capsules other than those indicated.
The guarantee is no longer valid in these
cases.
MACHINE START UP
Position the machine on a flat stable surface away
from sources of water and heat. Ensure that the
machine is disconnected from power supply. Any
damages caused to the machine through failure
to follow these instructions are not covered by the
guarantee.

Lift out the water tank and open the lid.

Rinse the tank before use.

Fill the water tank up to the MAX level indicated
using only fresh, non-bubbly, drinking water.

When the buttons come ON steadily, the ma-
chine is ready for use.

MAKING COFFEE
DISPENSING COFFEE
The machine will not supply the product until it
reaches the operating temperature.
The supply buttons blink alternately during the
heating cycle.
The machine will be ready for use when the lever
reaches the rest position and the supply buttons
come ON steadily.
On first use, deliver at least 0.5 litres of water with-
out inserting a capsule.
Position the cup under the coffee spout.

Do not put fingers or other objects in the capsule
insertion space.
The machine features two pre-dosing buttons
3
and one free-dosing button.
Short-time dosing
Long-time dosing
Free dosing: when you have the amount of
coffee desired, press the coffee dispenser
button again to stop the flow.
If you wish to use different sizes of cups and con-
tainers, the drop collecting tray can be removed
using the pull handle.
Raise the capsule loader lever and place the

capsule in the capsule insertion space applying
light pressure.
Lower the capsule loading lever, then press one
4
of the coffee supply buttons.
STAND-BY
The machine will, after it has not been operated
for 30 minutes, enter the stand-by mode; more
over, the free dosing button will be blinking.
To start the machine again, either press one of the
supply buttons or open the capsule insertion lever.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
EN
Always ensure that the electricity is disconnected
and wait for the machine to cool.
Do not leave water in the tank and water circuit
for more than 3 days. If this is the case, drain the
tank and circuit, rinse it and refill it with fresh wa-
ter, then carry out a delivery without capsule before
making any coffee or other beverage. Empty and
clean the used capsule drawer every two or three
days or after 10 coffees have been made. Never use
alkaline detergents, solvents, alcohol or aggres-
sive substances and do not dry machine parts in
the oven. Wash the parts (excluding the electrical
parts) in cold or lukewarm water using non-abra-
sive sponges or cloths.
CLEANING THE COFFEE SPOUT
Once a week follow the procedure for DISPENS-
ING COFFEE without inserting a capsule.
CLEANING THE DROP COLLECTING TRAY
AND USED CAPSULE DRAWER.
Take out the drop collecting tray/used capsule

drawer using the handle.
Check periodically to see if the capsule drawer is
full in order to prevent malfunction and damage
to the machine.
The upper and lower drop collecting trays can

be cleaned by lifting their grills. Wash and dry all
parts before replacing.
DECALCIFICATION
The formation of calcium or lime is a normal
consequence of using the machine; decalcifica-
tion/descaling should be done after every 3 or
4 months of usage and/or when a reduced flow
of water is noticed.
Decalcification can be done using a decalcifica-
tion product for coffee-makers of the non-toxic
harmless type commonly found on the market.
Remove and empty the inner used capsule

drawer.
Do not under any circumstances use vinegar as a
decalcification solution.
Empty the tank and fill it with a decalcification
1
product dissolved in water as specified on the
decalcification package, turn on the machine
and place a container under the spout.
Press the coffee dispenser button and fill a cup-
2
ful.
Turn off the machine, let it sit for 10 -15 minutes
3
and repeat operations [2] and [3] until the tank
is empty.
Wash and fill the tank with fresh drinking water,
4
reposition it and place a container under the
spout.
Wait until the machine heats up, press the cof-
5
fee dispenser button and let it run until the tank
is empty.

Press down the supply button to be modified for at least 3 seconds: the machine will notify a signal, i.e. the
1
LED will blink (1 second ON, then 1 second OFF).
Release the button (the coffee supply will start).

Once the desired amount of coffee has been obtained, stop supply by pressing the same button.

• The minimum dose that can be set is 20 cc (0,6 oz).
• If the programming does not end within 110 seconds, the supply will be stopped automatically. The
machine will notify a signal, i.e. the LED will blink (1 second ON, then 1 second OFF) and the last dose
previously set will be stored into the memory.
• To resume the factory-set values for the set doses, simultaneously press down the two pre-dosed supply
buttons for 5 seconds.

Emplacement:
Installer la machine à café dans un endroit sûr, où personne ne puisse la renverser ni
être blessé par elle. Ne pas tenir la machi-ne à une température au-dessous de 4°C,
car le gel pourrait l’endommager. Ne pas utiliser la machine pour le café à l’extérieur
de la maison. Ne pas poser la machine sur des surfaces très chaudes ni à proximité
de flammes libres.
Alimentation de courant électrique:
Ne brancher la machine à café qu’à une prise de courant adéquate. La tension doit
correspondre à celle qui est indiquée sur la plaquette de la machine.
Câble d’alimentation:
Ne pas utiliser la machine à café si le câble d’alimentation est défectueux. Si le
câble d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un câble dispo-
nible auprès du constructeur ou de son service d’assistance technique pour pré-
venir tout risque. Ne pas faire passer le câble d’alimentation sur des arêtes (vives)

Protection d’autres personnes:
