REAR CUSHION KIT INSTRUCTIONS

The rear cushion assemblies will replace the rear disk beams of the standard LANDCOMMANDER
units.

This kit is intended for field conditions where stones may be numerous or other conditions where
additional disk gang protection or float is desirable, beyond the normal rock protection of the
C-Flex bearing hangers. The additional range of relief is made possible by the coil springs within
the assembly. With this kit installed, the disk gang will have approximately 10” of additional
vertical relief for the disk gang to rotate up over resistant obstacles.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Additional parts identification and location can be obtained from reviewing the
LANDCOMMANDER operator’s (1K926) and repair parts catalog (1K927). Review all safety
instructions within the LANDCOMMANDER operator’s cataglog.

To install kit, select a smooth level area that can be reached by a hoist or lift truck.

The rear cushion assemblies will replace the rear disk beams of the standard LANDCOMMANDER
unit.

Basic Installation

1. Mount the rear cushion assemblies for the disc gangs to the under side of the plates on
the LANDCOMMANDER main frame with 1-8NC X 9 1/2” bolts, lock washers, and nuts. See
Figure 1.
