Abnormal image due to drum unit cleaning failure

Phenomenon Image on the print-out may appear abnormal.

Cause If the toner accumulates on the surface of the drum roller, toner conveying ability may reduce

and cleaning failure may occur.

Solution To improve the toner cleaning ability, the shape of the cleaning lm has been changed and the

cleaning lm has been relocated.

Due to contact between the middle part

of the lm and the drum roller, cleaning of the toner from the drum unit is insufcient

and toner may accumulate on the surface of the drum roller. As a result toner conveying ability is reduced and cleaning failure may occur.
