This time, the description with (-->) was revised from the previous information.
<Number of changes: 4> The part number and part name of the new Job eject paper sensor were changed
(302MV44030→302MV94650). The accurate serial numbers were added.
Topic
The following changes were made in order to improve the detecting margins for the job eject paper sensor.
Due to the changes, some attention is required when replacing the parts. Therefore, please refer to [Field
Measures] below.
Content of Changes
1) The following changes were made so that the loads of eject paper will be securely applied to the actuator of
the job eject paper sensor in order to improve the detecting margins for the job eject paper sensor.
- Two ribs were added to the top side of the job separator tray (No.2, No.3) to prevent the machine
front/rear side edge of the eject paper (large size) from hanging down.
- The shape of the job eject paper sensor (No.4) was changed in order to bring the actuator of the
sensor to the paper eject side.
2) Due to decreased number of the stackable sheets on the job separator tray due to the sensor (No.4)
change in the above 1), the leading edges of the actuator switching the job paper full sensor were cut by 2
mm in order to secure the same paper stack performance level as before. ----------- For TASKalfa 2550ci
only.
3) The fitting shape for the stopper (2K31782_) of TASKalfa 2550ci was added to the back side of the job
separator tray (No.2) for common use of the part.

Field Measures:
<For TASKalfa 2550ci only> Due to this change, there is no more functional compatibility between the
new/old No.4 and No.5. Therefore, please use the job eject paper sensor (No.4) and the actuator switching
the job paper full sensor (No.5) as a set of the new or old parts when replacing the parts. (For more details,
please refer to the remark *4 under the parts table below.)
<For the models except TASKalfa 2550ci> No particular problem is expected.

*1: Change of the exit unit for TASKalfa 2550ci
(For common use of the unit with FS-C8025MFP, FS-C8020MFP)
--- The unit includes the job separator tray (either the old tray for TASKalfa 2550ci which is not supplied individually or the new
No.2), job exit paper sensor (No.4) and the actuator switching the job paper full sensor (No.5) as the component parts.
(The stopper, a bundled item in the job separator tray set (No.3), is not included in the new/old exit unit.)
*2: The set includes the new job separator tray (the same tray as new No.2), the stopper and the caution leaflet when using the
stopper. (The part number of No.3 remains unchanged.)
*3: As for TASKalfa 2550ci, the new No.4 cannot be individually attached to the machine before change. The individual new
No.4 is applicable for the models except TASKalfa 2550ci.
*4: As for the TASKalfa 2550ci, please apply the old parts to the machine before the change, or apply the new parts to the
machine after the change. (If only No.4 was replaced with the new one, the number of the stacked sheets may decrease
compared to the current state due to the early paper full detection. If only No.5 was replaced with the new one, the ejected
sheet exceeding the normal maximum number of the stacked sheets may bump to the ceiling of the inner tray and then the
trailing edge of the paper covers the exit section. As a result, paper jam may occur.)
As for the models except TASKalfa 2550ci, the combination of the new No.5 and the old job exit paper sensor (No.4) can be
applied since the models have used the new No.5 before and the height of the detecting position of the job exit paper sensor
differs from the one from TASKalfa 2550ci. (The paper jam at the exit section may not occur.)
*5: The old part mentioned above (302MV28010) has been used since the first mass production for TASKalfa 2550ci while
302K028090 (new No.5) has been listed in the Parts List (1st issue) as ACTUATOR EXIT OVERFLOW UP.
