Top cover
1) If the ascending force of the DP feed
roller increases due to variation of
the torque limiter (X in the figure
above) which drives the DP feed
roller, the hook and hook lever are
dislocated and the DP feed roller
pushes up the top cover.
2) The engagement of the gears (A, B)
might be shifted and some abnormal
noise might be recognized.
The tension of the spring (No.1) was
increased to prevent the top cover
from being lifted up due to the
dislocated hook lever.

When the power is turned ON or paper is fed to the DP, the engagement of gears (A and B) might be shifted and
some abnormal noise might be recognized due to the jumping gear depending on the variation of the parts.
Therefore, the following change was made.
Content of Changes
The spring tension for the hook lever to lock the top cover was increased in order to prevent the top cover from
being lifted up.

Remove the rear cover by unlatching the
two hooks.

Open the DP top cover and remove the
inner cover by unlatching the five hooks.
Then, replace the spring.
