1 Label change at the

service status page.

2 Language selection

menu.

The digital “Digital Dot Coverage” label at the service status page has been changed to
“Print Coverage”.

• The coverage is converted with the area image ratio based on the current dot number
data, and the accuracy of the reference value of the toner consumption is improved.

• The Digital Dot Coverage data is reset because the calculation method has been

changed after upgrading the rmware.

The language selection screen will be displayed right after start up, when the machine

starts up for the rst time.

• The language is set by pressing “OK” and the language menu will not be displayed
when starting up the machine again.

• When pressing “Clear” the language will be set to English (Default) and the
language selection menu will be displayed when starting up the machine again.

• When pressing “Cancel” the language will be set to English (Default) and the
language selection menu will not be displayed when starting up the machine again.

been changed accordingly. (example on the next page)

3 Barcode ash. The Barcode ash program may not operate properly, even if the CF card with the

necessary les is inserted in the CF card host of the machine. (FS-1128MFP only)
No problems are expected if the Fax system is not installed.

4 Failure to print the

image properly.

5 Barcode on PDF

print-outs.

6 Failure to print PDF

data.

7 Interruption of the

PDF print-out.

8 Print failure of

umlaut characters.

9 PCL error. The PCL error may occur when printing the PDF le directly from the machine.

10 Various errors when

printing PDF data.

11 Overlapped

characters.

Only the leading edge or the trailing edge of the image may appear on the print-out of the

copy, if the DP is closed during the scan of the original on the contact glass.
This depends on the timing of the closing of the DP.

The barcode may not appear on the print-out of PDF les.

PDF data may not be printed directly from the machine.

The print-out of PDF les may be interrupted and stop. In this case the machine

indicates the “Waiting” message.

Spaces may be printed out instead of the umlaut characters, when printing the PDF le

directly from the machine.

The following errors may occur when printing PDF les:

• System error

• Processing lock

• Error code F030

• Etc.

Characters may appear overlapped on the print-out when printing les containing
Macro’s.
