After a specified period of time since the last operation the machine remains in a waiting state but enters Lower Power Mode or Auto Sleep Mode and reduces power consumption. This product is equipped with the following features as a result of its compliance with International Energy Star Program standards:

Auto Sleep Mode

Paper Recycling

The device automatically enters Low Power Mode after 5 minutes of machine inactivity. The period of time the machine is idle before entering
Low Power Mode can be lengthened. Refer to Low Power Mode on page 4-17 for more information.
The device automatically enters Auto Sleep Mode after 30 minutes of machine inactivity. The period of time the machine is idle before entering
Auto Sleep Mode can be lengthened. Refer to Auto Sleep Mode on page 4-18 for more information.
The Energy Star Program encourages use of environmentally friendly recycled paper. Your Sales or Service Representative can provide information about recommended paper types.
