CATHODIC PROTECTION
Kyocera’s Cathodic Protection (CP) systems include solar modules,
mounting structures, CP controller (with integrated solar charge
regulation), storage batteries, system enclosure, installation/wiring
kit and instruction manual.
Kyocera CP systems are specialized by providing DC current to metal
pipelines, storage tanks, bridges, or other exposed equipment to
ca ncel the ef f ects of n atural ch emic al co rrosion s. Oper ating directly
from storage batteries common to photovoltaic systems, the Kyocera
CP syste m is equippe d with a low vol tage sh ut- down f eature to
prevent ba t tery damage and are su itab le for use in syst ems of eithe r
positive or negative ground.
