Reverse osmosis water purification Providing clean and healthy drinking water using reverse osmosis and ultra violet sterilization. Ultrafast heating The leading electric heating technology is used to instantly heating the water to the desired temperature when hot water is needed so as to avoid boiling water several times. Installation and maintenanceof this product must be done by qualified plumb

This systemmust be installed in the cold waterpipe line (5-38 ) and the filter as well as waterpipes must be protected fromfreezing, which can cause cracking of the filter and water leakage.The systemmust bedrained and turned off when room temperaturedrops below5 .
The inlet pressure rangeof this system is 0.1 MPa-0.4 MPa. Ifwaterpressureexceeds 0.4 MPa,
installation of a pressurelimitingvalveisrequired.(Please consult plumbingprofessionals or dealers aut
horized by Kohlerforwaterpressure measurement);
Do not install where waterhammerconditions may occur. Ifwaterhammerconditions exist, installation of a waterhammer arrester is required;
Please install the product by following the instructions on th
e inlet and drainage pipes.
Turnoff the water supply line and unplug the product forprolonged periods of non-use;
If the unit producesastrange noise or odd smell, immediately unplug thesystemfrom the electrical outlet and call the Ko
hlerService Center.
Prior to moving the unit,besuretoturnoff the water supply line and drain thesystem, so as to prevent water spilling into the innercomponents of the electronics.

Step1:Making inlet connections
1. Turn off the cold water supply valve and drain the water inside the faucet as much as possible; (Figure 1)
2. Disconnect the cold water line from the threaded stub on the bottom of the tap faucet; (Figure 2)
3. Screw the water supply adapter - female threaded stub to the cold water supply valve's male threads. Tighten it with a wrench. Screw the female threaded tap faucet stub to the water supply adapter with a wrench. (Figure
3)
4. Connect one end of the 1/4" plastic tubing to the inlet water supply adapter, and connect the other end of the 1/4" plastic tubing to the filter inlet port.

Step2:Making drain connections
1. Affix a saddle clamp onto the drain tubing and insert the 1/4" drain tubing. (Figure 4)
2. Connect the other end of the 1/4" drain tubing to the drain port.
Step3:Installingfiltercartridges
1. Remove and discard the packaging and take off the dustproof cap.
2. Place the filter into the filter bucket according to the corresponding steps, rotate the filter by 90 degrees, and make sure the filter is rotated to the correct position by matching the marks on the Top.

Before installing or replacing filters, please make sure the cold water supply valve and power are turned off. A bump to the touch indicates the filter is in place. Confirm the filter rubber indicator is in a vertical position. If it is not installed properly, the filter may leak water.

Step4:Start-up and operation
1. Open the cold water supply valve and check if the tubing is leaking. If not, proceed to the next step;
2. Turn on the power;
3. When the system is turned on for the first time or after filter replacement, it will automatically start washout and tubing cleaning procedures, which will last about 30 minutes.
4. After the washout procedure is completed, produce about 1 of purified water each in the normal temperature and high temperature modes, to determine whether the system is operating normally.
5. If the system work normally, simply attach the water collection disc to the water collection site (with the built-in magnet) on the front of the unit to complete installation.

5. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Product operation is divided into two parts: 1 Primary controls, 2 Inner control panel.

a. When selecting temperature modes, the display panel will show the pre-set
temperature of each mode. When dispensing water, the display panel will show the actual temperature of the water. (Note: There will be slight deviations between the displayed water temperature and the pre-set temperature)

c. When selecting hot water (hot water refers to the 85 and 95 levels), the child
safety lock will blink with two short beeps if the lock is not turned off.

e. The system will display a rough estimate of the remaining time for
washout when in the self-cleaning state. Filter washout usually takes: 20 minutes The time for water tank cleaning is usually: 12 minutes
Self-cleaningcountdown reminder:
F. The reminder indicates the water tank contains insufficient
water, so please wait for the system to produce more water. Water will be filled during the 99-second countdown.

g. The child safety lock mode is on when the light is on, and the child safety
lock mode is off when the light is off.
h. The memory mode is on when the light is on, and the memory mode is off when
the light is off.

Please carefullyread and understand the following supplementary information on the product
1. Start-up The system will proceed to the three-stage filter washout and water production after turning on the machine for the first time. Please be patient and wait for about 30 minutes. (The waiting period varies depending on locations and temperatures)
2. Water tank washout function Within 5 seconds after the unit is turned on, pull the stick back to cancel or activate the washout function after each start-up. (The preset mode of this system is draining the water tank followed by washout and water feeding)
3. 36 hours washout This system will drain the water tank and perform washout & water feeding if it remains in a non-operation mode for 36 hours.
4. 72 hours standby This system will automatically enter sleep mode if it remains in a non-operation mode for 72 hours. Press any button to activate the system. Note: Activating the system at this point will start the self-cleaning procedure. Please wait for the self-cleaning countdown.
5. Ultraviolet Indicator When the ultraviolet indicator light is on, it means the UV light is in the working state. The UV light will be turned on every 4 hours for sterilization.
Please replace filters periodically when prompted by the indicator.

Stepstoreplace filter areasfollows:
1. Turn off the water supply and power;
2. Rotate the filter by 90 degrees and remove the old filter;
3. Remove the filter packaging and take off the dustproof cap. Place the filter into the filter bucket according to the corresponding steps, rotate the filter by 90 degrees, and make sure the filter is rotated to the correct position.
4. Turn on the water supply and power;
5. Press the Reset Button corresponding to the specific filter for 5 seconds;
6. The system will enter the self-cleaning mode- the white light that corresponds to filter replacement will blink. Wait for about 20 minutes for filter washout;
7. Wait until the filter light becomes steady white before using the system.

Unit noise.
The unit will produce noise in non-operation mode.
The unit is not in the operation mode and the display shows a countdown timer.
The display shows a red filter indicator.
No display on the unit.
This is normal.
While in non-operation mode, the unit will produce purified water to fill the water tank when the inner water tank is not full.
In addition, the unit will automatically wash the water tank, produce water and fill the tank if remains in the non-operation mode for 36 hours.
1. When there is insufficient water in the water tank of the unit, then it is necessary to wait for the unit to take in more water (about 99 seconds).
2. Filter washout countdown (about 20 minutes)
3. Water tank cleaning countdown (about 12 minutes)
This is a reminder for filter change.
Please replace filters when prompted by the indicator.
The unit will enter sleep mode if it remains in the non-operation mode for 72 hours. Press any key to activate the system.
Note: Activating the system at this point will start the self-cleaning procedure. Please wait for the self-cleaning countdown.

If the inlet water temperature is lower than 5 or higher than 40 , then there will be heating. The water inlet electromagnetic valve (always-open type) will be turned off and an alarm will be sounded.
Check and make sure the household water supply is turned on.
Check if the household water pressure meets the requirement of >0.1MPa
Shut off the electrical power.
Check if the unit is leaking, Check the surroundings and bottom of the machine for water marks.
Wipe dry the water marks and water on the leaking sensor located at the bottom of the unit.
Heating will be automatically restored when the water temperature returns to the normal range between 5 and 40 .
Call the Kohler Service Center to solve the issue.
