Before You Begin
If possible, install this faucet onto the sink before installing the
sink.
Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of

1. Faucet Installation
Slide the undercover over the faucet supply hoses and the hose
outlet.
Apply plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of the
undercover according to the putty manufacturer’s instructions.
Feed the faucet supply hoses and hose outlet through the sink
hole and position the faucet.
Slide the bracket and washer over the stud, thread on the nut and
tighten securely.

2. Install the Handspray
Apply plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of the
spray holder according to the putty manufacturer’s instructions.
Insert the spray holder through the sink hole.
From under the sink, securely hand-tighten the nut.
Remove any excess putty or sealant.
Insert the handspray hose through the spray holder and attach
the hose to the hose outlet.
NOTE: If the sink is not installed at this time, install it now.

3. Install the Supplies
CAUTION: Risk of restricted waterflow and product damage.
Use extreme care to avoid kinking and twisting when connecting
the hoses. Hoses must not be taut when installed.
NOTE: If your installation requires that you coil the supply hoses to
obtain a good connection, maintain an inside coil diameter of at
least 3″ (7.6cm).
Carefully position the hot and cold supplies so they will not
interfere with other hoses.
Connect the supply hoses to the supply stops.
4. Installation Checkout
If it is not already done, complete the sink installation.
Ensure that all the connections are tight.
Move the faucet handle into the off position.
Turn on the main water supply and check for leaks.
Remove the aerator from the spout.
Turn on the water and position the handle in both the hot and
cold positions. Run water for at least one minute to remove any
debris in the spout.
Reinstall the aerator.

5. Water Temperature Adjustments
If desired you may adjust the maximum water temperature
setting.
Remove the plug button.
Loosen the setscrew and remove the handle and bonnet.
Position the indexer to stop the valve stem at the desired
maximum temperature.
Turn the water on and rotate the valve stem to full hot to confirm
the setting.
Reinstall the bonnet and handle.
Tighten the setscrew.
Reinstall the plug button.
