NOTES:
1. Flush the water supply pipes thoroughly to remove any debris.
2. For new installations, assemble faucet to sink before installing.
3. The highest working pressure for handspray is 0.5MPa(5 bar). If it exceeds 0.5MPa(5 bar), a pressure
reducer is needed. The highest water and environment temperature is 60 ºC. Please keep handspray away
from heater, or it may become damaged and cause injury to the user.

How To Install The Escutcheon(Three-hole Sink)
For 8692 Only
Apply a ring of plumbers putty on the underside of the escutcheon(4).
Put the O-ring(1) into the chamfer of the spacer(2). Center the spacer
over the center hole of the lavatory with the O-ring side down. Cover
the holes on both sides with the gaskets(3). Position the escutcheon
(4) over the spacer and the gasket.
Put the escutcheon washer(5) into the hole of the escutcheon.
Put the filter washer(21) into the connector(19) and thread it to the
shank(12). Lock the hose connector(20). Do not over tighten it.
INSTALLATION
How To Install The Faucet
For 8690, 8692 Only
Put the O-ring(6) into the groove of the body assembly.(NOTE: There
is no O-ring for 8692. Install the faucet onto the escutcheon directly.)
Screw the mounting stud(7) into the hole(B) of the faucet. Install the
flexible supply hoses(8) into the inlet holes (A) of the faucet through
the hole of the sink. Tighten them by hand only. Using a wrench may
damage the hoses.
From underside of sink, place washer(9), bracket(10) and nut(11)
onto the mounting stud. Position the faucet so that mounting stud is
toward the front. Tighten the nut to secure the faucet to the sink.
Attach the hoses to water supplies. When facing the front of the
faucet, the left hose is hot water, the right hose is cold water.
For 8691 Only
Slide the O-ring(13) and the guide(14) into the groove of the body.
Put the hoses into the mounting hole of the sink. Let the bottom of the
body against the deck.
From underside of the sink, place the washer(15), bracket(16) and nut
(17) onto the mounting stud(12). Position the faucet so that mounting
stud is toward the back and the two hoses is symmetrical. Tighten the
nut to secure faucet to sink.
Attach the hoses to water supplies(For 8691A, thread the bushes(18)
into the water supplies firstly, then attach the hoses to water
supplies). When facing the front of the faucet, the left hose is hot
water, the right is cold water.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure that all coupling nuts are tight. Ensure that the lever handle is
in the off position.Turn on the main water supply and drain, and check
for leaks. Repair as needed.
8690, 8692
Remove the aerator(22). Run hot and cold water through the faucet
for about a minute to remove any debris.
Remove any debris from the aerator. Shut off the faucet, and reinstall
the aerator.
8691
Remove the hand spray(24), filter washer(25) and aerator(23). Run
hot and cold water for about a minute to remove any debris. Remove
any debris from the filter washer and aerator. Shut off the faucet.
Reinstall the filter washer, aerator and hand spray.
All Finishes: Clean the finish with mild soap and warm water. Wipe entire surface completely dry with a clean
soft cloth. Many cleaners may contain chemicals, such as ammonia, chlorine, toilet cleaner etc. which could
adversely affect the finish and are not recommended for cleaning.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on Kohler faucets and fittings.
How To Use Hand Spray
Press the button(H), (G) for two different forms of water flow, as figure
(a), (b) shown. The minimum water pressure is 0.03MPa(0.3bar).
If you want to use the hand spray by hand, take the hand spray and
pull out the hose. NOTE: Please pull it gently, or you may damage the
hose, connector and loosen the faucet.
