Charging the Battery Pack(BN-V856U)

Use the provided AC Power Adapter/Charger to charge the battery pack. The Battery Pack is rechargeable even if it is not completely depleted.

For details on operation, refer to the notes on page 10 in the camcorder’s instructions.

SUPPLY POWER TO CHARGER

Plug the AC Power Adapter/Charger’s power cord in to an AC outlet. The power lamp comes on.

ATTACH THE BATTERY PACK

Attach while making sure the marks are facing down and aligned with the corresponding marks on the AC Power Adapter/Charger.

•The Charger Indicator 1 begins blinking to indicate charging has started. (Charger indicator 2 does not blink.)

•When blinking of the Charger indicator 1 stops blinking and remains lit, charging is finished.

•Charging time is approximately 6 hrs. 30 min. (When the Battery Pack is completely depleted.)

DETACH THE BATTERY PACK

Slide the battery in the direction of the arrow and lift off.

•When charging is finished, unplug the Power cord from an AC outlet.

LCD monitor off/Viewfinder on approx. 6 hrs. LCD monitor on/Viewfinder off approx. 5 hrs.

•Using the provided Battery Pouch, you can carry the Battery Pack (BN-V856U) on your waist or shoulder.

•Use the provided DC cord only.
