cabinetsthat havea lower working temperature than
194°F,discoloration,delaminationor melting may occur.
Placerange in a well lit area.Donot setrange over
holesin the floor or other locationswhere it may be
subject to strong drafts. Anyopening in the wa I behind
the rangeandinthe floor underthe rangeshould be
sealed.Makesure theflow of cooling/ventilationair is
not obstructed below the range. Note:A rangeshould
NOTbe installed over kitchen carpeting.
HighAltitudeNotice:Thespecified gasburner ratings
typically applyto e!evatonsupto 2000 feet. For higher
a!titudes,the rates mayneedtobe reducedto achieve
satisfactoryoperation.Alocal certified gasservicer will
be ableto adviseif a reduction is necessary, RequirementsforPropane,AppliancesandEquipmentinR.V.'s(CS,AStandard
as a step stool. Installation instructions are providedfor woodand cement in either
floor or wall. Anyother type of construction may require special installation
techniques as deemed necessaryto provide adequate fastening of the ANTI-TIP
bracketto the floor or wall. The bracket may be installed to engage the LEFTor
RIGHTrear leveling foot. NOTE:The bracket provided is designed for use with flush
mount and non-flush mount outlet receptacles. Install the bracket with the
orientation hole in the longer leg against the wall or floor as shown insteps 14-19.

RECREATIONALPARKTRAILERS
The installation of a range designed for recreational parktrailers must conform with
state or other codes or,in the absenceof suchcodes,with the Standard for
RecreationalParkTrailers,ANSI,A119.5-latestedition. InCanadathe range must be
installed in accordance with C,AN/CS,A- Z240.6.2 - Electrical Requirementsfor R.V.'s

Thisrangerequiresa singlephasethree wire 120/240or a 120/208volt,60 Hz,AC
circuit.Wiringcodes requireaseparatecircuit be runfrom themainentrancepanelto
the rangeandthat it beequippedwith separatedisconnectswitch and fuses,eitherin
the mainentrancepanelor in a separateswitch and fuse box.
Theelectricalconnectiontothis unitisdesignedonlyforusewith aflexiblepowercord.All
unitsareshippedwith aspeciallydesigned4-wireservicecord.Thiscordshouldbeusedon
allnewbranchcircuits,mobilehomesandwhenlocalcodesprohibitgroundingthrough

In The CommonwealthOf Massachusetts
Thisproduct must be installedby a licensed plumberor gasfitter when installed
within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.A "T" handle type manual gasvalve
must be installed in the gas supply line tothis appliance.Aflexible gas connector,
when used, must net exceed a length of three (3)feet / 36 inches.
Gas Supply
Installationof thisrangemust conform with localcodes or,intheabsenceof
localcodes,with the NationalFuelGasCode,ANSIZ223.1-1atestedition.In
Canadathe rangemustbe installedin accordancewith the current CGA
Standard CAN/CGA-B149- Installation Codesfor GasBurningAppliancesand
Equipment and/or local codes.
A QUALIFIEDSERVICEMANORGASAPPLIANCEINSTALLERMUST
MAKETHEGASSUPPLYCONNECTION.Leaktestingof theappliance
shall be conductedbythe installer accordingto the instructions
givenin step6,
Apply a non-corrosive leakdetection fluid to all joints andfittings in the gas
connection between the supply line shut-off valve and the range.Include gas
fittings and joints inthe rangeif connections were disturbed during installation.
Checkfor leaks! Bubblesappearing around fittings and connectionswill
indicate a leak. Ifa leak appears, turn off supply line gasshut-off valve, tighten
connections, turn on the supply line gas shut off valve, and retest for leaks.
CAUTION: NEVER CHECK FOR LEAKS WITH A FLAME. WHEN LEAK
CHECK IS COMPLETE, WIPE OFF ALL RESIDUE.

Ibs./sq.in. (3.5 kPa)(13.8 in. water column).
AGASSHUT-OFFVALVESHOULDBEPUTIN ANACCESSIBLELOCATIONINTHE
SUPPLYLINEAHEADOFTHERANGE,FORTURNINGONANDTURNINGOFFGAS
SUPPLY.Range is to be connectedto house pipingwith flexible metal connectors
for gas appliances. CONNECTORNUTSMUSTNOTBECONNECTEDDIRECTLYTO
PIPETHREADS.THECONNECTORSMUSTBE INSTALLEDWITHADAPTORSPROVIDED
WITHTHECONNECTOR.
Thehouse piping and/or range connector used to connectthe rangeto the main gas
supply must be clean, free ef metal shavings,rust,dirt and liquids(oiler water). Dirt,
etc. in the supply lines can work its way into the range manifold and in turn cause
failure ofthe gas valves orcontrols and clog burners and/or pilot orifices.
Always use a new flexible connector. Donot use existing flexible connector.
NOTE:Itis recommendedto use a CSAcertified flexible connectornolongerthan36" (91.4cm) with a minimum BTU/HRrating of 60,000.

Followtheseproceduresto removeappliancefor servicing:
1. Slide rangeforward todisengagerangefrom the anti-tipbracket.
2. Shutoff gassupplyto appliance.
3. Disconnectelectricalsupplyto appliance,if equipped.
4. Disconnectgassupplytubingto appliance.
5. Reverseproceduretoreinstall.If gaslinehasbeendisconnected,
checkfor gasleaksafter reconnection.
6.Topreventrangefrom accidentallytipping,rangemust be securedto the floor bysliding rearlevelinglegintotheanti-tipbracket.
NOTE:A qualified servicer should disconnect and reconnect the gas supply. Theservicer MUSTfollow installation instructions provided with the gas appliance connector
and the warning label attached to theconnector,
Whenyour range requires service or replacementparts, contact your dealer or authorized service agency. Pleasegivethe complete model and serial number of the
range which is located on flip-up plate at the rear of upper left-hand corner or center of backguard.
