Section 4: Introduction to the EON ONE PA System
Thank you for choosing the JBL EON ONE PA system The EON ONE is an all-in-one linear-array PA system featuring multiple input channels with individual tone controls, reverb, and Bluetooth audio streaming, allowing the user to integrate the system into any number of audio spaces and still look amazing And with a design that stores all the components into one unit for a one-hand carry, the EON ONE is perfect for situations where ease and portability are just as important as our legendary JBL sound
Included in the EON ONE package are:

• 2 listening height spacers
• 1 column speaker array
• 1 power cable
• Quick start guide

GETTING ACQUAINTED WITH THE EON ONE POWERED MIXER
This part of the EON ONE system houses the mixing board and power amplier. Here you will connect all of the
microphones, musical instruments, and external sound sources (like MP3 players, CD players, or Bluetooth audio
sources). The MONITOR OUTPUTS provide a “Front of House” feed and can be connected to recording devices or additional speakers (like a personal monitor or another PA system).
THE BASICS
The mixing board is actually a very simple device. A “mixing board” brings audio sources “in” (through the inputs) and routes the signal to the outputs (MASTER VOLUME or MONITOR OUTPUTS). The mixer controls enable
the user to affect the tone and/or volume in addition to routing the signal and adding reverb to individual input sources
Let’s look at the “inputs” rst:
AUDIO INPUTS
The EON ONE has 6 inputs: 2 mono inputs and 2 stereo inputs All of the inputs will route to the speakers and to the MONITOR OUTPUT SECTION EON ONE also includes Bluetooth audio streaming from your favorite Bluetooth audio device
7
MONO MIC/LINE INPUTS
Moving from left to right there are 2 identical input strips comprised of (from top to bottom) a treble control,
bass control, reverb control, reverb on/off button, volume control, mic/line selector and a XLR 1/4" combination connector
Treble control adjusts the amount of high
frequencies on the particular channel
Bass control adjusts the amount of low
frequencies on the particular channel
Effect control adjusts the amount of
effect on the particular channel
Channel Volume control adjusts the
gain on the particular channel
MIC/LINE “SELECTOR” allows you to
select between a microphone (XLR)
input and a line (1/4" phone) input
Combination 1/4" phone plug and
XLR male input
BLUETOOTH INPUT
The EON ONE comes equipped with the ability to stream Bluetooth audio To connect a
Bluetooth device, rst press the BLUETOOTH PAIR button on the back of the EON ONE. Then
select "EON ONE" from the source device to complete the pairing Once paired, the blinking BLUETOOTH LED will turn solid and audio can be streamed from the connected device
8
STEREO INPUTS
The EON ONE has two stereo inputs and these are used primarily for MP3 or CD players but could be used with the stereo output of an electronic keyboard, instrument pre-amp or processor, or an electronic drum machine The inputs labeled “CH 3/4” offer the option of using ¼" phone plugs or RCA plugs and this channel has a volume control The input labeled “CH 5/6” is a 35 mm stereo input of the type typically found on personal music players This input does not have a volume control as personal music players usually have a “volume control” built into the unit This is the best way to control the volume of the unit plugged into this input
Volume control for “STEREO IN 3/4”
Stereo in 3/4 RCA inputs (use with MP3 Player, CD, or any consumer
type electronics)
Stereo in 3/4 1/4" phone inputs
instrument pre-amp or processor, or an
(use with electronic keyboard,
electronic drum machine)
“CH 5/6” 35 mm input jack for use with personal music players
STEREO MONITOR OUTPUTS
These outputs allow you to route the stereo mixer signal to another destination like a recording device, personal monitor, or to another PA system
MASTER VOLUME & LIMIT LED
Your EON ONE is equipped with a “Master Volume” that controls the overall output volume of the system and a Yellow LED that indicates that you have approached the maximum output
