INTER-M PRO SOUND The PS-80 was designed from Inter-M’s 30 years of research and development experience
in Sound Equipment products.
The PS-80 Loud-Speaker is a compact high quality installation 2way loud speaker. The PS-80 is precision
manufactured using the latest CNC machineries out of the highest quality multi-ply birch.
They are loaded with High quality 5inch LF driver and a 1 inch silk dome tweeter for precision sound reproduction.
The PS-80 is a compact powered speaker loaded with a 170 watt amplier with circuitry optimised for outstanding
performance while maintaining great speech intelligibility and musicality making the PS-80 ideal for BGM as well as
voice reproduction.

High Quality Components
The PS-80 speakers are manufactured using high-quality drivers and components. The 5 inch low frequency
driver voice coil is manufactured of pure copper and Kapton for optimum eciency and accurate response.
The 1 inch silk dome high frequency driver outputs crystal clear linear treble. Our custom design and tuned
crossover network ensures a smooth frequency responses and maximizes the SPL of the High-frequency and
Low-frequency drivers. Internal protection circuitry protects the drivers from damage.
Acoustic enclosure (Acoustic Design)
The enclosure was designed using the latest in simulation software. The port size, length and position were
accurately tuned to minimize resonance and maximize base output. The shape and size of the enclosure is
optimized to prevent the emitted energy to interfere with the driver’s driving factor. The PS-80 loudspeaker uses
eco-friendly high density sound-absorbing materials to block unwanted internal resonance.
Professional speaker (Sound Philosophy)
The PS-80 compact loudspeaker has the right sound pressure balance between the drivers oering a crisp high
frequency sound with rich base while maintaining a smooth frequency response and high SPL. Our rigorous
testing and quality control process ensures a uniformity and consistency in frequency, impedance and SPL.
Speakers are tested beginning at the component level throughout the assembly process and all the way to the
nished product.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY AMPLIFIER MODULE
The PS-80 is powered with a high eciency 170 watt amplier module. Compact and lightweight the amplier
module delivers high eciency power with high quality precision sound. Patent pending interlocked power
technology maximizes energy eciency and power output.
The eight stage protection circuitry oers maximum protection while maintaining amplier stability and a wide
dynamic range.
Rear Panel Design
The rear panel incorporates the integrated power amplier module, line level input connector, level control and
the ac power input. The panel is made of steel for better heat dissipation for ecient convection cooling of the
amplier. The modular circuit design and panel assemble oer easy access and serviceability.
Ease of installation
The PS-80 speaker can be wall or ceiling mounted. An option yoke type bracket is also available. Line level audio
input is provided on contractor friendly easily to install detachable euro block type terminal. Adjustable input
level is provided. Dual 220V or 110V voltage is internally selectable via jumper setting. AC Cord is detachable.
Robust assembly with eco-friendly paint enclosure
The PS-80 Series speaker enclosure is manufactured using a high precision CNC Machinery with 12T Nordic
birch Plywood. The panels are assembled using an interlocking joining method which ensures durability and
minimizes sound leakage. The entire enclosure including the high quality paint nish complies to ROHS.
