Overview
The UTC Fire & Security NS3500-28T-4S series is a Layer 2
managed gigabit switch designed to handle extremely large
amounts of data.
The powerful features of QoS and network security make this
series an effective solution for data traffic control for IP CCTV
and multicast applications. In addition, this switch is ideal for the
core layer of campus, enterprise networks and the aggregation
layer of large IP Systems.
Designed for various networking applications, the
NS3500-28T-4S provides 28 Gigabit Ethernet ports with 4
shared Mini-GBIC/SFP slots. Boasting high-performance
architecture provides these switches of non-blocking switch
fabricand full wire-speed throughput as high as 56Gbps, these
units simplify LAN upgrades that can increase bandwidth
demands.
Easy and Friendly Traffic Control
UTC Fire & Security NS3500-28T-4S series is loaded with
powerful but easy traffic management and QoS features to
enhance services offered by telecoms. The QoS configuration
can be set up easily and quickly via Web interface.

Efficient Management
For efficient management, the NS3500-28T-4S series managed
gigabit switch is equipped with console, WEB and SNMP
management interfaces. With the built-in Web-based
management interface.
The NS3500-28T-4S offers an easy-to-use, platformindependent management and configuration facility. The
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and can be
managed via any standard-based management software,
moreover, the NS3500-28T-4S offers secure remote
management by a SNMPv3 connection which encrypts the
packet content at each session. The NS3500-28T-4S can also
be accessed via telnet.
