This section contains information needed to orde r Production Intel® Server Board S5500BC, Intel Server Cha ssis SC5650 and Intel Server System SR1630BC

1. The production Intel

1. The production Intel® Server Chassis SC5650DP SKU includes:

 Non-redundant 600W PFC power supply  Three non-redundant cooling fan  Support for up to six tool-free non hot-swap 3.5” SA TA hard drives. Up gradeable to ho t swap

SAS/SATA 6-drive bay. Note: Check the Power budget spread sheet for supp ortable ha rd drive, memory and PCI configurations.

 Quick Start User’s Guide  Cables (one each):

o Front Panel Cable (baseboard header to front panel) o USB Cable (USB header to chassis front panel) o AC power cord is included in SC5650DPNA

 Chassis intrusion switch assembly  Five Bumpers for installing Intel® Server Board SC5500BC

 The chassis is designed to work with boxed Intel® Xeon® proce ssor 5500 serie s using Intel® Thermal

Solution STS100C (Combo) or STS100A (Active).

2. The production Intel® Server Chassis SC5650 BRP SKU includes:

 Redundant (1+0) 600W high efficiency PFC power supply with dual line cord support (full redundancy

requires additional 600W module p urchased se parately)

 Three non-redundant cooling fan  Support for up to six tool-free non hot-swap 3.5” SA TA hard drives. Up gradeable to ho t swap

SAS/SATA 6-drive bay. Note: Check the Power budget spread sheet for supp ortable ha rd drive, memory and PCI configurations.

3. Common accessories include:

 Hot Swap Drive Bays:

o AXX6DRV3GEXP: Expander-based 6-drive bay that supports SAS/SATA drives. Requires two free

SAS ports from the SAS personality module or SAS RAID card.

o AXX6DRV3GR: 6-drive bay that supports SAS/SATA drives. Requires six free SAS or SATA ports.

SAS hard drive support requires SAS connectors from a SAS personality module or SAS RAID Card.

 APPT600WHPSU: Additional 600W power supply module- required for full redundancy for SC5650BRP

only.

 APPTHSDBKIT: Cooling and mounting kit required for 6-drive hot-swap backplanes installed in the

SC5650 chassis family. This Kit should be used with AXX6DRV3GR.

 APP3HSDBKIT: Cooling and mounting kit requi red for 6- drive hot-swap ba ckplanes inst alled in the

SC5650 chassis family. This Kit should be used with AXX6DRV3GEXP.

 AXXRAKSW5: Intel® RAID Activation Key AXXRAKSW5 to enable Intel Embedded RAID technology

for SAS and/or SATA Software RAID 5 on S5500BC board and SR1630BC system.
