RDO SENSOR
MAINTENANCE KIT
The RDO Optical Dissolved Oxygen Sensor maintenance kit includes a
replacement Phillips head screw for the adapter plate, and o-rings in the
following sizes:

3.028” I.D., p/n 0048260 (2), non-sealing o-rings for the adapter plate and nose
cone
B
0.489" I.D., p/n 0048270 (2), locking, non-sealing o-rings for the RDO sensor
A
Non-sealing o-rings
B
Locking, non-sealing o-rings
C
Locking, sealing o-rings
0.301” I.D., p/n 0041230 (2), locking, sealing o-rings for the cable harness, with
C
lubricant
Replace the o-rings if they appear cracked or damaged.
GUIDELINES & PRECAUTIONS
• A and B are non-sealing o-rings; they do not need lubrication
• C are sealing o-rings; apply silicone grease to o-ring and grooves before
installation. Take care not to transfer grease to the pins of the connector,
which would be then transferred into the sensor port. Remove lubricant in
these areas with a clean swab.
