IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed including the following:
1 Read all instructions.
2 To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put the blender base
or power cord in water or other liquid.
3 Close supervision is necessary when the blender is used by or near
children.
4 Unplug the blender from outlet when not in use, before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning.
5 Avoid contacting moving parts inside the blender.
6 Blades are sharp, Handle carefully.

7 Do not operate the blender with a damaged cord or plug or after the
blender malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return the blender to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
8 The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended by
the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.
9 Do not operate the blender outdoors.
10 Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
11 Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
12 Before using, make sure that the voltage corresponds to the one
shown on the blender nameplate.
13 The blender cannot be used for blending hard and dry substances.
Doing so may dull or damage the blades.
14 Keep hands and utensils out of the container while blending to reduce
the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper
may be used, but must be used only when the blender is not running.
15 To reduce the risk of injury, never place the cutter-assembly blades on
the base without the jar properly attached.
16 Always operate the blender with the cover in place.
17 The blender shall not be used by children. Keep the blender and its
cord out of reach of children.
18 Never use hot liquids in the blender or run the blender empty.
19 The blender can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or
mental capabilities, or who lack experience and knowledge, if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
blender in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
20 Caution! Do not continuously operate the blender for more than 30
seconds as this may overheat the motor. Always allow the motor to
cool to room temperature before continuing to use the blender.
