Nightlight and USB Charging Wall Outlet

Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any damage.
We recommend that you use a professional electrician to install the USB charging wall outlet. For information about electrical specications, see SPECIFICATIONS.
SAFETY
Warnings:
• RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK — Use only in dry locations and only indoors.
• DO NOT use with any aquarium equipment.
• DO NOT install in a wall box that is not grounded.
Notes to the installer:
• This device must be installed in accordance with National and Local electrical codes.
• To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always turn power OFF at the service panel before working with wiring.
• This device should ONLY be used with copper or copper-clad wire. DO NOT use with aluminum wire.
• DO NOT install this device into a shallow wall box. The wall box must be deep enough to house the charger outlet. If the box is too shallow, the charger outlet will not t securely into the wall.
• This device is to be installed in a wall box measuring at least 3.9 × 2.4 × 2.0 in. (99 × 59.9 × 50 mm).
• Use at least 12 or 14 AWG stranded/solid copper wire.
• Neither this device, nor its outlets or ports, is intended to support permanently connected equipment.
• Use USB connectors with interconnecting cables.

INSTALLING THE WALL OUTLET
1 Warning: DISCONNECT POWER. Failure to
do so can result in severe injury or death.
Make sure that you disconnect power to the
circuit by removing the fuse from the fuse box or by turning o the circuit breaker.
2 Remove the wall plate that covers the old
outlet, then remove the mounting screws.
3 Carefully remove the existing outlet from the
wall box.
4 Disconnect the wiring from the old outlet. 5 Connect the wires to the charger outlet as
follows:
• Black lead attaches to the hot wire(s)
• White lead attaches to the neutral wire(s)
• Green lead attaches to the ground wire(s) You can attach the wires by:
Inserting straight wires into the holes.
Wrapping the wires 3/4 of the way around the terminal screws, making sure that the wires do not overlap. Then tighten every screw and make sure that no bare copper wire is exposed. When tightening screws, use 14-inch pounds of torque.
6 Carefully insert the charger outlet into the wall
box.
7 Secure the charger outlet to
the wall box with the two long screws (provided).
8 Secure the wall plate to
the charger outlet with the two short screws (provided).
9 Restore power by
replacing the fuse or turning on the circuit breaker. The charger outlet is ready to use, and the LED nightlight turns on automatically.
USING THE CHARGING OUTLET
To charge USB devices (such as mobile phones or tablets), plug USB cables into the USB ports on the charger outlet and into the USB ports on the devices.
Note: You can charge a single device with a maximum of 4.8A or two devices with a maximum of 2.4A each. See the documentation that came with your devices for charging requirements.
LED NIGHTLIGHT CONTROL
1 The default setting of the LED nightlight is High. 2 Touch the control panel to cycle the nightlight
brightness from High to Low to O.
