Treatment with wood treatment oil
The table has been treate d once with wood
treatment oil in the factor y. Shiny spots on
the table surface are ea sily removed by
polishing with the coarse s ide of a Scotch­brite® sponge.

In order for the table to retain its hi gh
surface resistance, s and the surface lightly

along the wood grain with ne -grained

sandpaper a few days af ter assembly.
Wipe off all sanding dus t with a cloth and
then apply a thin, even coat of BEH ANDLA
wood treatment oil with a brush or a c loth
until the surface cannot abs orb any more
oil. Take extra care when applying oil to the
end edges of the table top, app ly a second
coat if necessary, as they are liabl e to
crack formation. To avoid the risk of making

marks on the oor, do not oil the under side

of the legs.

Leave the oil to penetrate the sur face for
15-20 minutes. Wipe off any surplus oil with
a soft cloth. After ca . 24 hours, when the oil
has dried up, sand down any grain raisin g

with ne-grained sa ndpaper. When the

surface is smooth, rep eat the oil treatment.
To ensure that the table retains its appe ar­ance and durable surface fo r many years to
come it should be treated with B EHANDLA
wood treatment oil at regular inte rvals.

IMPORTANT! Wash used brushes an d soak
used cloths in water and dispo se of them

in a reproof dustbin to prevent the ris k of

spontaneous combusti on.

For daily cleaning, wipe t he surface with a
damp cloth and then with a dr y cloth. If you
happen to spill, wipe up the liq uid directly,
as liquid that is allowed to remain on oil ­treated surfaces for a lo ng period of time
can cause stains.

Oberächenb ehandlung mit Holzöl

Der Tisch wurde nach d er Herstellung

einmal mit Holzöl behandel t. Glänzende
Stellen auf der Ober äche können mit

der groben Seite eines Sc otchbrite®­Schwamms wegpoliert wer den.

Damit der Tisch lange s trapazierfähig

bleibt, sollte er einige Tage nach der Mon -

tage mit feinem Sandpapie r parallel zur
Holzmaserung bear beitet werden. Danach

mit einem Tuch den Schleifstaub a bwischen
und mit Pinsel oder einem La ppen gleich-

mäßig einen dünnen Film BE HANDLA Holz­öl auftragen, bis die Ob eräche gesättigt

ist. Die Kanten der Tischplat te besonders

sorgfältig, ruhig auch z weimal behandeln, -

so kann Rissbildung vermied en werden. Um

Flecken auf dem Boden zu ve rmeiden, die
Unterseite der Beine nic ht ölen.

Das Öl 15-20 Minuten einziehen las sen,
danach überschüs siges Öl mit einem wei­chen Tuch abwischen. Sollten sic h einzelne
Fasern erheben, die O beräche 24 Stun­den nach dem Einziehen de s Öls mit feinem
Sandpapier anschle ifen und nach Glättung

die Ölbehandlung wied erholen. Wir emp-

fehlen regelmäßige P ege mit BEHANDLA
Holzöl, das erhält die Strapazie rfähigkeit
des Tisches über vie le Jahre hinweg und
lässt ihn lange anseh nlich bleiben.

WICHTIG! Benut zte Pinsel abwaschen.

Verwendete Lappen in Wasser einweic hen

und in einem feuersich eren Müllbehälter

entsorgen um das Risiko ein er Selbstent-

zündung zu vermeiden.

Tägliche Reinigung: mit einem feuchte n

Tuch abwischen und trocken nachwisc hen.
Falls etwas verschüt tet wird, sofort abwi­schen, da eindringen de Feuchtigkeit auf

geölten Oberä chen Flecken verursachen

kann.

Traitement avec huile pour bois
La table a reçu en usine un traitem ent de
protection à base d’hui le pour bois. Si la

surface du plateau prés ente des zones
brillantes, il suft de l es frotter avec la face

grattante d’une éponge Scotch brite® pour
les faire disparaître.

Pour conserver la sur face résistante, nous
vous conseillons de ponce r celle-ci avec

un papier de verre n dans le sen s des
bres du bois quelques jou rs après le

montage. Dépoussiére r ensuite la surface

puis appliquer une ne couc he d’huile pour

bois BEHANDL A. Appliquer à l’aide d’une

brosse ou d’un chiffon jusqu’ à saturation du

bois. Insister sur les côté s courts du plateau,
appliquer une seconde c ouche au besoin

car les risques de ssure s sont grands. Pour

éviter les taches, ne pas h uiler le dessous
des pieds.

Laisser pénétrer 15 à 20 minutes puis
enlever le surplus d’huile a vec un chif-

fon doux. Après 24h, ponce r la surface

à nouveau pour éliminer le s éventuelles

bres redressées pe ndant le traitement.

Une fois la surface par faitement lisse, nous
vous conseillons de répéte r le traitement.
Pour conserver l’aspect n euf de votre table
pendant de nombreuse s années, nous vous
conseillons de la traiter à inter valles régu-

liers avec l’huile pour b ois BEHANDLA.

IMPORTANT ! Laver les pinceaux à l ’eau et
imbiber les chiffons d ’eau pour éviter tout

risque d’autoinammation. Jeter l es chiffons

dans une poubelle métal lique munie d’un
couvercle ou dans une poub elle auto-ex­tinctrice.

Pour l’entretien quotidien, essuyer la sur­face avec un chiffon mouill é puis avec un
chiffon sec. Si un liq uide quelconque tombe
sur la surface, il faut l’essuyer rap idement
car cela pourrait laisser d es traces.
