1This machine is for office and household use only. Any services, other than cleaning should be carried out only by an authorized service representative.

3When cleaning, unplug the unit first. Wipe the unit with a dry soft cloth.

Thermal binding operation
1Insert the plug into power socket.
2Turn on the power switch (I/O) and the red ‘wait indicator’ (
) will light up on the operating panel. After heating up for 10 minutes, the green ‘ready indicator’ (
) will light up with an audible signal. The machine is now ready to bind.
3Select a suitable thermal binding cover. Choose a cover with a paper capacity equal or greater than the number of sheets that you wish to bind. Insert your document into the thermal cover, ensure that the sheets are neatly aligned.
4Place the thermal cover into the heating channel (Picture 1) and press the ‘Bind’ button ( 
) (Picture 2). The red ‘wait indicator’ (
) will light up, indicating that the document is being bound. After about 30 seconds, the ‘green indicator’ will light up & there will be an audible signal. Remove the cover from the heating channel. Press the spine together, to spread the glue within the cover.
CAUTION: the cover will be warm, you may wish to use a cloth to protect your fingers (Picture 3). Now place the thermal cover into the cooling channel for 1 minute. This allows the glue to cool and harden, forming a perfectly bound document (Picture 4).
5With thinner documents, several documents can be bound simultaneously, if required. Simply insert them together in the heating channel and operate the machine as in steps 3 & 4.
6After use turn of the machine and remove the plug from the socket.

Within the guarantee period, GBC will at its own discretion either repair or replace the defective machine free of charge. Entretien & soin
1Cet appareil est conçu pour une utilisation intérieure, au bureau ou à la maison. Tout service, autre que le nettoyage, doit être assuré par le personnel agréé par GBC.
2Ne plongez pas l’appareil dans un liquide et ne l’essuyez pas avec un chiffon humide.
3Pour le nettoyer, commencez tout d’abord par débrancher l’appareil. Essuyez l’appareil avec un chiffon doux et sec.
4Si l’appareil présente des défauts, les réparations ou modifications doivent être prises en charge par le personnel agréé par GBC.

1Insérez la fiche dans la prise d’alimentation.
2Mettez la machine en marche (I/O) : le voyant rouge s’allume (
). Après un temps de préchauffage de 10 minutes, le voyant vert s’allume (
) et un signal sonore retentit : la machine est maintenant prête à relier.
3Choisissez une couverture thermique dont la capacité en feuilles est . égale ou supérieure au nombre de feuilles de votre dossier. Insérez les feuilles dans la chemise préencollée et taquez les feuilles de telle sorte qu’elles soient bien alignées les unes avec les autres à l’intérieur du document.
4Insérez la couverture thermique dans le compartiment de reliure (Figure 1) et appuyez sur le bouton « Reliure / Bind » ( 
) (Figure 2). Le voyant rouge « Attendre/Wait » s’allume (
), indiquant que le document est en train d’être relié. Après 30 secondes Le voyant vert s’allume et un signal sonore retentit. Retirez la couverture thermique du compartiment de reliure.
Pincez le dos de la couverture sur toute sa longueur afin de bien étaler la colle à l’intérieur de la couverture. ATTENTION : la couverture peut être très chaude et il est préférable d’utiliser un tissu pour protéger vos doigts (Figure 3). Laissez reposer pendant 1 minute la couverture thermique dans le compartiment de refroidissement. La colle durcit et votre document est maintenant parfaitement relié (Figure 4).
5Plusieurs dossiers de faibles épaisseurs peuvent être reliés simultanément. Insérez-les simplement tous ensemble dans le compartiment de reliure et répétez les opérations décrites dans les paragraphes 3 et 4.
6Après la dernière utilisation, veillez à éteindre la machine et à la débrancher.

Wartung & Pflege

1Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose.
2Schalten Sie den Netzschalter an (I/O), dann leuchtet die rote Anzeige "Warten" (
) auf der Bedienungstafel auf. Nach zehnminütigem Aufheizen leuchtet die grüne "Bereit" Anzeige (
) auf, und es erklingt ein akustisches Signal. Jetzt kann mit der Maschine gebunden werden.
3Wählen Sie einen passenden Thermo-Einband aus. Wählen Sie einen Einband, der so viele oder mehr Blätter als die, die Sie binden möchten, aufnehmen kann. Legen Sie Ihr Dokument in den Thermo-Einband und stellen Sie sicher, dass die Blätter sorgfältig ausgerichtet sind.
4Legen Sie den Thermo-Einband in den Heizkanal (Abbildung 1) und drücken Sie auf den "Binden" Knopf ( 
) (Abbildung 2). Dann
leuchtet die rote Anzeige "Warten" (
) auf; das bedeutet, dass das Dokument gebunden wird. Nach circa 30 Sekunden leuchtet die grüne Anzeige "Bereit" auf, und ein akustisches Signal ertönt. Nehmen Sie den Einband aus dem Heizkanal, drücken Sie den Rücken zusammen, damit sich der Leim im Einband verteilt.

ACHTUNG: Der Einband ist heiß, so dass Sie eventuell ein Tuch verwenden sollten, um Ihre Finger zu schützen (Abbildung 3). Nun legen Sie den Thermo-Einband für eine Minute in den Abkühlkanal. Dann kann der Kleber abkühlen und hart werden und es entsteht ein perfekt gebundenes Dokument (Abbildung 4).
5Bei dünneren Dokumenten können mehrere Dokumente auf einmal gebunden werden, wenn es erforderlich ist. Legen Sie sie einfach zusammen in den Heizkanal und führen Sie Schritt 3 & 4 durch.
6Stellen Sie das Gerät nach dem Gebrauch ab und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

Garantie

•Usare solo al coperto su una superficie asciutta, solida e in piano. Non far cadere l'apparecchio. Assicurarsi che l'alimentazione sia quella specifica per questo apparecchio prima di inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
•Tenere l'apparecchio sempre lontano dalla portata dei bambini, per evitare ustioni e rischi di incendio.
•Non usare l'apparecchio in ambienti con temperature estreme o vicino ai fornelli, condizionatori d'aria o esposta ai raggi del sole. Tenere l'unità lontano da materiale infiammabile per evitare rischi di incendio.

•Per evitare danni, non cercare di separare il documento quando è caldo.
•Scollegare l'unità dalla corrente quando non utilizzata.
Cura e manutenzione
1L'apparecchio è progettato per un uso in ufficio o domestico Ogni manutenzione, oltre alla pulizia, deve essere effettuata solo da personale tecnico autorizzato.
2Non immergere l'apparecchio in liquidi o pulirlo con panni bagnati.
3Scollegare l'unità dalla presa di corrente prima di pulirla. Strofinare l'apparecchio con un panno morbido ed asciutto.
