Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Adaptor

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Always adhere to installation / usage instructions and warning. Improper use may result in injury, damage or hazardous spill.
1. Turn off dispenser and relieve line pressure.
2. Slide clamp onto the DEF compatible exible tubing (¾ in / 19 mm ID x ⅛ in / 3.1 mm wall thickness) - do not tighten.
3. Slide tubing and clamp over the hose barb end of the DEF adaptor until hose bottoms out at the adaptor ange.
4. Position clamp between the adaptor ange and the rst adaptor barb.
5. Tighten clamp by applying approximately 540 lbf•ft / 2400 N•m to clamp ear. Conrm clamp is tight by visually inspecting the dimple formation.
6. Only connect to DEF compatible and 304 stainless steel ttings - see page 2 for applicable seal congurations.
7. Do not use thread sealant (Teon tape, anti-seize or any other kind of sealant).
8. Install at the nozzle.
9. Tighten rmly, approximately 15 - 20 lbf•ft / 20.3 - 27 N•m, but do not overtighten.
10. Pressurize system and visually inspect for leaks.

APPLICABLE SEAL CONFIGURATIONS
Model #7214 Adaptor thread type: ¾ x 14 Male BSPP one end; ¾ Hose Barb other end. Model #8413 Adaptor thread type: 1 X 11 Male BSPP one end; ¾ Hose Barb other end.
