Quidway® NetEngine 20 Routers ATM over E3 Interface Module

Overview

The ATM over E3 interface module of an NE20 router provides the following functionalities:

z Support ATM Direct Mapping (ADM) and Physical Layer Convergence Protocol (PLCP).
z Support scrambled data transmission.
z Support line clock (used when it works as a DTE interface) and internal clock (used when it

works as a DCE interface).

z Support cell loop, self loop, payload loop and line loop.

The NE20E router provides only one type of ATM over E3 interface module, namely 1-port ATM
over E3 module.
