Setting Up Your FWT
Installing the SIM Card
The subscriber identity module (SIM) card and its gold contact
area are easily damaged by scratching or bending. Be careful
when installing or removing the SIM card not to inflict damage on
the card.
Do not frequently remove or insert the SIM card when using the
FWT.
Before installing the SIM card, ensure that the FWT is powered off and
disconnected from the power adapter.
When installing the SIM card, ensure that the gold contact area faces down, that
the beveled edge of the SIM card aligns with that of the SIM card slot, and that
the SIM card is fully inserted.
Installing the Battery
Before installing the battery, ensure that the FWT is powered off and
disconnected from the power adapter.
Install the battery as shown in the following figure. Ensure that the battery cable
is correctly connected and that the battery poles are not reversed.
