Important Safety Warning
WARNING To avoid discomfort from unexpected noise, always turn down the
volume before connecting headphones or speakers. Listening to loud sounds for prolonged periods may permanently damage your hearing.
Before putting on the headset, place the unit around your neck and turn down the volume. When you put on the headset, slowly increase the volume until you find a comfortable listening level, then leave the volume in that position.

Connecting Your Stereo Headset with Microphone
Connect your the headset by inserting the two connectors in to the speaker and microphone sockets on your PC or multimedia keyboard.
NOTE The colors of the connectors on your HP Stereo Headset with
Microphone may differ from the color of the sockets on your PC or multimedia keyboard. If in doubt, match the icons on the connectors and sockets.

Using Your Stereo Headset with Microphone
Using the Integrated Controls
You can use the headset’s integrated controls to adjust the volume and switch the microphone on and off.

You can adjust the headset by holding the top of the unit and pulling down on the left and right sides.

HP Hardware Warranty
This HP accessory is covered by a limited hardware warranty for a period of one year from the date of purchase by the original end-user. The type of service provided is return to an HP or repair-authorized reseller service­center. At Hewlett-Packard's discretion, a defective accessory will be repaired or replaced by a new unit, either of the same type or of an equivalent model.
If this accessory is purchased and used together with an HP Brio, HP Pavilion, HP Omnibook, HP home PC, HP e-pc, or HP Vectra personal computer or an HP Kayak PC Workstation, it will be covered by the warranty of the PC, under the same conditions of service and duration.
