SurfMet® 1 Belt Surfacer with Sink is a durable single station coarse grinder that is ideal for

metallographic, spectrographic and macrohardness test specimen preparation. Complete with
belt cooling, debris flushing system and rinse sink.The heavy-duty motor offers superior
durability and performace. Separate belt flushing and coolant controls guarantee ample
removal of particulate matter from the grinding belt, providing efficient cutting action and
critical specimen cooling.The stainless steel sink with faucet allows the convenienve of quickly
grinding and washing the specimen in one location. Includes a selection of CarbiMet® Abrasive
Belts and operating instructions.

39-1572 HandiMet® 2 Roll Grinder offers the user an exceptionally convenient and

economical instrument for manual grinding applications.The HandiMet® 2 provides a self
contained four-stage grinding station with controlled water flow for lubrication and cooling of
the specimen plus the flushing away of debris. Unique water activated clamping holds abrasive
papers firmly in position during grinding. Includes a selection of four abrasive paper rolls, water
hoses and operating instructions.

In-Table/Tabletop & Flush Mount Grinder-Polishers

The SuperMet® Grinder is a heavy-duty rotary coarse grinder with rapid material removal rates

designed to planar grind specimen surfaces. The SuperMet

®

Grinder comes with a balanced 12″

(305mm) bronze wheel powered by an 1800 rpm, 3 Hp (2.2 kW) motor, and a selection of
abrasive discs. It is offered in a 30″ (762mm) or 36″ (914mm) table height,or without a table,
which can be custom flush mounted.

The MetaServ 3000® Grinder-Polishers are reliable and economical. Features include variable
platen speed from 50 to 500 rpm, corrosion resistant molded base, bright LED power indicator,
adjustable water flow nozzle and universal input voltage.Available in both single and dual
platens. Designed for use with 8″ (203mm), 10″ (254mm) or 12″ (305mm) platens. All are
upgradeable to semi-automatic preparation systems with the addition of the Vector® LC Power
Head. All MetaServ 3000 Grinder-Polishers include aluminum platen(s), splash ring(s),bowl

Alpha and Beta Grinder-Polishers are affordable,manual grinder-polishers offered in either

single or dual platen versions; both can be used with either an 8″ (203mm) or 10″ (254mm)
platen.The Alpha grinder-polisher offers the convenience of a basic two-speed grinder-polisher
(180/360 rpm). The Beta grinder-polisher offers the versatility of variable wheel speed (30-600
rpm). Both the Alpha and Beta feature rugged, quiet operation, heavy-duty mineral cast bases
