■ Installation
The VT117 tailpiece has a 16mm square
s
ection to enable a spanner to be used
to tighten the tailpiece into the radiator.
In order to function adequately, the
VT117 should not be installed in direct
sunlight, or obscured by furniture,
curtains etc.
The VT117D straight valve must be
installed so the water flow is in the
direction of the arrow.

The VT117 has a removable
insert (V100U) that can be replaced.
The V100U insert also incorporates
the integral balancing device which is
adjusted by inser ting a screwdriver in
the slot and turning. This acts to limit
the maximum opening of the valve.
