The connecting rod should be torqued between 41—45 N-m (4.1—4.5 kg-m, 30—33 ft-lb).
Use dial gauges to measure the runout on any of the main journals after placing the crankshaft in a stand or on Vee blocks, and rotating it two revolutions.
I.D. for the small end of the connecting rod should not exceed 0.40 mm (0.0157 in).
Shifting problems could be the result of air in the clutch system or shifting forks that are bent.
The maximum allowed clearance between a crankpin and its journal is 0.07 mm (0.0028 in).
