1. Remove the battery cover: Lift up the battery cover from the bottom of
battery cover.
2. Insert the SIM card: Cancel the PIN code of the SIM card in regular
cellular phone before you insert it into this handset. Slide the SIM card
into the holder slot with the metal contacts facing down.

3. Insert the Battery: Insert the metal contacts of battery power forward and
place it down to battery slot.
4. Place the Battery Cover: Place the battery cover with the locking catch on
the top of the battery slot and press the bottom of the cover into its place.
VI. Turn on the Phone
Make sure the SIM card and battery are inserted correctly before you turn
the phone on. Press and hold the Power Key until the GPS Signal LED
(Green) illuminates. GSM mode will be activated first and you will see the
GSM Signal LED (Yellow) is flashing. After 3 seconds, the Power Signal LED
(Red) will illuminate and the GSM Signal LED (Yellow) will go off. Now, the
system is appeared as default and none of the function is activated. Wait for
another 3 seconds, when the Power Signal LED starts to flash, you can start to
use all the functions of the phone.
VII. Turn off the Phone
To turn off the phone, press the Power Key until the Power Signal LED goes
off. A warning sound will remind you that the phone is in the process of turning
off. In the normal situation, the GSM Signal LED will flash and will go off after
5 seconds.
VIII. Charge the Battery
Connect the charger plug to the power supply (plug the charger into the
cigarette lighter socket or AC wall outlet, depending on the type of plug), and
connect the mini-USB lead to the mini-USB socket located on the right of the
handset. When charging started, the Power Signal LED illuminates. After
charging is complete, the Power Signal LED resumes flashing.
IX. Signals
1. GPS Signal: Light on indicates searching the satellite. Light flashing
indicates satellite is positioned.
2. GSM Signal: Quick flashing indicates calling, incoming call or receiving
messages. Light on indicates call or data communication is in process.

While Charging: Power Signal LED illuminates and resumes back to the
normal situation after charging is complete.
While Pressing Keys: When the keys are pressed, the Power Signal
LED illuminates. When released, the signal
resumes back to the normal situation.
X. Keys
1. Power Key: turn the handset on and off.
2. SOS Key: Emergency call. Send the current longitude and latitude
coordinates to your family or friends via text message.
3. Answer Key: Answer the incoming calls or make a call to the first three
contacts in your phonebook.
4. Complex Keys: Press and hold both the Power and Answer Key for 2
seconds to set up the central position and to activate the position report
function.
XI. Other Information
1. To position GPS successfully, please hold the phone face (with function
key) up, not to turn the handset upside down.
2. The starting process will appear as default if the SIM card is not inserted
so that the other functions can not be operated and the Power Signal LED
will illuminate without flashing.
3. Using a personal PC as power supply is not recommended. The
manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage to the handset or personal
PC caused by this improper use.
4. You can find the exact longitude and latitude coordinates of your position
by using the provided MapRoute or other digital map software. You can
also use MapRoute with a GSM Modem to show longitude and latitude
coordinates on the map. For detailed operating instructions, please read
the MapRoute User Guide.

Chapter 2 Functions and Operations
Thank you for purchasing this powerful product. Being a multi-functional GPS
tracking system, the operation of the handset might seem a little complicated at first.

We believe with a little time and practice, you can become efficient in using it. Before
using the handset, note the following features. The handset features prevention of
accidental key press. Every key needs to be pressed for over 0.5 second to activate
its function, and other extra functions won’t be activated without receiving short
messages in specified formats. Please refer to Chapter 4 for details about these
formats.
I. Emergency Response Mode
When you encounter an emergency and need aid, regardless of the
response mode, press down Emergency Key for one second and then
release it to automatically active GPS. After the GPS is positioned, the
current time and your longitude and latitude coordinates will be sent in the form
of a text message to the first three numbers in the phonebook in SIM card or to
the preset GSM Modem numbers. Relatives and friends who get this
message can set out to rescue you immediately.
If the GPS fails to position〈unable to position within one minute will be
indicated by Power Signal LED continuous flash〉, the handset will respond with
a text message that it fails to position and displays the previously positioned
latitude and longitude coordinates.
II. Automatic Response Mode
1. Moving Response
When the owner requires monitoring if the bringer of the handset has
moved beyond the preset range, he can preset its central position and
hand it over to the bringer. Before setting it, bring the handset to a location
that can be set as the central position, then press and hold both Speak
and Power Keys for two seconds and then release. This will
automatically activate the GPS. After it is positioned, the location is set
as the central position. The GPS will be automatically activated every
three minutes to check if the handset has moved. If the distance
between the handset and the central position is larger than the preset
range, the handset will send a text message consisting of its mode,
current longitude and latitude coordinates, speed, and time to the first
number in the phonebook in the SIM card or send to the preset GSM
Modem numbers. If there are two consecutive failures in positioning, the
handset will prompt you with a repeated message that it is unable to
position until positioning is available.
If the handset fails to set the central position〈unable to position within
one minute will be indicated by continuous flashing of the Power Signal
LED〉, the handset will not respond.
The range can be set by sending a text message cellular phone in the
specified format from regular cellular phones to the handset.

If the user doesn’t change the response mode, then even if it is turned
off and back on again, the handset will still be in moving response mode
and the central position remains unchanged.
2. Scheduled Response
When user requires monitoring of the handset’s position on the basis
of regular timing, the scheduled response can be activated and the time
interval between each response can be set by sending a text message
in the specified format to the handset. For details about the formats of
text messages, please refer to Chapter 4. The handset will activate GPS
positioning as scheduled and respond with a text message consisting of
its mode, current longitude and latitude coordinates, speed and time to the
first number in the phone book in the SIM card or to the preset GSM
Modem numbers.
If the handset fails to position〈The Power Signal LED will flash
continuously if it is unable to position within one minute〉, the handset will
respond with a text message indicating the handset fails to position and
displays the previously positioned longitude and latitude coordinates.
If the user doesn’t change the response mode, then even if it is turned
off and back on again, the handset will still be in scheduled response
mode and the time interval remains unchanged.
3. Over-speed Response
When user requires monitoring the handset’s speed, the over-speed
response can be activated and the speed limit can be set by sending a
text message in the specified format to the handset. For details about
the formats of text messages, please refer to Chapter 4. The handset will
activate GPS positioning every minute. If the handset’s speed is over the
preset speed limit, the handset will send a text message consisting of its
mode, current longitude and latitude coordinates, speed and time to the
first number in the phonebook in the SIM card or to the preset GSM
Modem numbers.
If there are two consecutive failures in positioning〈The Power Signal
LED will flash continuously if it is unable to position within one minute〉, the
handset will send a text message indicating the handset fails to position
and displays the previously positioned longitude and latitude coordinates.
If the user doesn’t change the response mode, then even if it is turned
off and back on again, the handset will still be in over-speed response
mode and the speed limit remains unchanged.
III. Called Response
When user requires information about the current position, status or other
settings of the product, regardless of the product mode, the product will send its

current longitude and latitude coordinates, status and settings in the form of a
text message by receiving a text message in the specified formats. It will
automatically activate GPS positioning after receiving the text message and
send this information to the first number in the phonebook in the SIM card or to
the preset GSM Modem numbers.
If it fails to position〈The Power Signal LED will flash continuously if it is
unable to position within one minute〉, the product will send a text message
stating that it fails to position and displays the previously positioned longitude
and latitude coordinates.
This function applies to all types of response modes.
IV. Voice Response
The handset will check if the incoming call is one of the first three numbers
in the phonebook of the SIM card when the user dials from other cellular
phones. If not, it will automatically hang up. If it is, the handset will notify the
user by a ringing tone. The user can press the Speak Key to answer the
phone. To hang up, press the key again. Please note that the handset’s
speaker is located at the rear.
This applies to all kinds of response modes.
V. Voice Call
The user can use the handset to dial up to three numbers maximum. After
turning on the handset, press the Speak Key once to dial the first number in the
phone book in the SIM card. Press the key twice to dial the second number
and press three times to dial the third. Please note that the time interval
between each press must be less than two seconds. After three seconds
the GSM Signal LED will start to flash. The user can then put the handset
near his ear, waiting for the person to answer the call. To hang up, press
Speak Key again. Please note that the handset’s speaker is located at the
rear.
This applies to all kinds of response modes.
VI. Low-Battery Response
If the user requires the handset to automatically respond when the battery is
low, the handset will send its mode, previously positioned longitude and latitude
coordinates, speed and time to the first number in the phonebook in the SIM
card or to the preset GSM Modem numbers. Each boot-up would respond
once at most.
This function can be activated or deactivated by itself and applies to all
kinds of response modes.

1. Automatic report mode (including scheduled, moving and over-speed report) is

2. The default time for a scheduled report is 60 minutes.
3. The default distance for a moving report is 100 meters.
4. The default speed for an over-speed report is 80 KPH.
5. Low battery report mode is closed.
6. The default time zone is GMT +8.
7. The format of the report is a text message.
