Operation
To select the proper pin, booster, and tool equipment for the applicatio n, refer to the Selector Chart in the kit box lid.
1. Insert the fastener, point out. into the guide until the top-hat is held in place by the retaining spring.
2. In one movement, pull out the base-
plate and piston sleeve to a stop, then push them back in again. This cocks the too l and advances the
magazine.

3. Insert the magazine in the base of the handle. Slide it in completely until it is flush with the base of the handle.

How
to change the piston and guide
Disassembly
1.
Lift the end of the annular spring and
rotate toward the top of the tool. Pull the stop back and out to remove it.

Separate th e baseplate from the piston
sleeve.
2.
Slide out the complete piston sleeve/ baseplate assembly.
3.
Pry
off
the shear clip with the point of a fastener. If the shear clip is damaged, it must be replaced.

Pull the piston out of the piston
sleeve.

Incline the baseplate and the guide will slide out.
NOTE: If it does not slide out freely, push it out of the baseplate with the piston.

Insert the guide into the baseplate.

Slide the piston sleeve/baseplate assembly into the tool.The guide groove in the assembly must bealigned with the opening for the stop on thetool.

Snap the shear clip in place.

Replace the stop and rotate the annular spring over it to hold it in place.
