FEATURES
HCC (High-instantaneous Current Capability)
Low Negative Feedback This unit has been designed to have low distortion and wide bandwidth without high negative feedback. This further im-proves its dynamic accuracy.
Discrete Component Circuitry In order to achieve the above goals, all discrete electronic circuitry has been employed. All available integrated circuits could not provide this high level of performance.
Sophisticated Electronic Protection
Sophisticated Electronic Protection Harman Kardon engineers developed a unique protection system that permits high instantaneous current to be driven into speaker systems but protects the amplifier form short-circulate ordamaged speakers and wires. This protection system in no way limits amplifier output voltage or current during music reproduction, and therefore has no negative effect.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not tamper with internal components for inspection or maintenance. Harman Kardon does not guarantee against performance degradation resulting from any modification.
Connecting Other Components
Carefully connect the plugs to the left and right channel jacks. Push the plugs in all the way. Poor setting of the plugs tends to cause hum or intermittent sound and may damage the speakers.
NOTE: While you are connecting this unit to the rest of your high fidelity system, please unplug the power cord, disconnecting not only this unit but all the components, from the AC outlet.
Do not interwind the connection wires with the power cor If interwound, the sound quality may be degraded.
When only one turntable is used, be sure to insert the attached short-pin plug into the PHONO MM or MC jacks that are not being used.
Connecting Speakers
Connect the speaker wires carefully to the speaker terminals on the rear panel so as not to mistake the left and the right channels or reverse the speaker polarities (+ and -).
Use sufficiently thick wire (18 gauge for short lengths, 16-12 gauge for longer lengths). It is recommended to use colorcoded wire for easy polarity identification. Speaker wires should be as short as possible, and the left and the right channel wires should be the same length.

2. After making sure of the correct channel and polarity, loosen the SPEAKER SYSTEM terminal knob and insert the conductor directly into the recess at the upper-right of the terminal. Then tighten the terminal knob, and the end of speaker wire is automatically wound around the terminal.
3. Set the SPEAKER OPERATING MODE switch on the rear panel to match the impedance of your speakers. If your speakers are nominally 4 Ohms, set this switch to the "4Ω" position. If your speakers are nominally 8 Ohms, set this switch to the "8Ω" position. The HIGH VOLTAGE indicator on the front panel will then illuminate.
2AUTION: Two speaker systems can be connected to this init. When two speaker systems are connected, care should be taken that net impedance does not become less than 8 or I Ohms depending on the position of the SPEAKER OPER-TING MODE switch.
Connecting Video Compone
Video components can be connected to the FM050U xxi amplifier. To connect a source surve, sa v CR, for example, leads must be connected for both audio and video input and output, so a total of 6 leads are necessary. Connect the audio output jacks of the VCR to the VCR/TAPE 1 or 2 audio IN jacks on the PM650Vxi and connect the audio input jacks of the VCR to the VCR/TAPE 1 or 2 audio IOUT jacks on the PM650 Vxi. Connect the video IN and OUT jacks in the same way.
NOTE: When you connect the leads, make sure that the channels are not crossed, and that video signal leads and audio signal leads are not mixed
Connecting a Monitor Television
Connect the video input of the monitor television to the MONITOR OUT jack on the PM650Vxi.
AC Convenience Receptacle
Inis unit is provided with two AC convenience receptacles on the rear panel for supplying power to a tuner, turntable, tape deck or other low power component. The receptacles have a power capacity of 180 watts each. Check the component's owner's manual to find its power requirement.
SWITCHED: The power to this receptacle is turned on and off by this unit's power switch. UNSWITCHED: The power to this receptacle is independent of this receptacle is independent.
NOTE: In some countries, these AC convenience receptacles are not available.

CONNECTIONS
CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
POWER SWITCH (POWER) Pressing this switch will turn on the power and the HIGH CURRENT indicator lights up. Press the switch again to turn the power off.
HIGH CURRENT INDICATOR (High Current) When the POWER switch is pressed, this indicator lights up in red.
HIGH VOLTAGE INDICATOR (High Voltage) This lights when the SPEAKER OPERATING MODE switch on the rear panel is set to the "δΩ" position. (Refer to the "Connecting Speakers" section on page 3.)
HEADPHONE JACK (HEADPHONES) Stereo headphones with a standard 1/4 inch plug can be connected to this jack. When the SPEAKERS selector is in the "off" position, sound can still be obtained via the headphone

SPEAKER SELECTOR (SPEAKERS) This selector is used to select the desired speaker system(s). off Select this position to listen to sound yia the headphone with no sound from the speaker system(s).

BASS CONTROL KNOB (BASS) This knob controls the low frequency sound level. Turn it clockwise to boost or counterclockwise to reduce the low frequency sound level.
TREBLE CONTROL KNOB (TREBLE) This knob controls the high frequency sound level. Turn it clockwise to boost or counterclockwise to reduce the high
BALANCE CONTROL KNOB (BALANCE) This knob is used to balance the left and the right channels. Usually, it is set at the center. Turn it to the left or right to balance the sound if it seems unbalanced from the speakers
PHASE-CORRECT LOUDNESS SWITCH (phase-correct
OPHASE-CURRECT EXCELLENCE loudness) This switch activates a unique low frequency equalization circuit that provides full, natural sound from small speakers that are normally deficient in the base region. It can also be that are normally deficient in the base region.
SUBSONIC FILTER SWITCH (subsonic) When playing the turntable, this filter switch is used to reduce subsonic frequencies, which may excessively vibrate the speaker conces or turntable and cause feedback.
MODE SWITCH (mode) This switch is used to combine the left and right channels and create a mono signal.
EXTERNAL PROCESSOR (external processor) This switch activates a special "loop" which routes sound out of the PM650 Vxi into a signal processor and back into the
VCR/TAPE MONITOR SELECTOR (VCR/TAPE MONI-TOR) This selector is used when playing a VCR or tape deck, or
FUNCTION SELECTOR (FUNCTION) This selector is used to select a program source other than a
VOLUME CONTROL KNOB (VOLUME)
OLUME CONTROL KNOB (VOLUME) This knob controls the sound level. Turning clockwise increases the sound volume, and turning counterclockwise decreases it. Set this knob at a minimum level before turning the power on or changing the sound source to protect the speakers from being dramened by a suiden binh level sound.
CARTRIDGE SELECTOR (cartridge) This switch selects the gain and input impedance of the phono input circuitry to match the type of phono cartridge used. Be sure to connect the turntable to the appropriate PHONO input jacks (MM for moving magnet type cartridges and MC for moving coil type cartridges), and to select that input with this
Listening to a Record (Disc)
- Turn the VOLUME control knob to the minimum level press the POWER switch. The HIGH CURRENT indic lights up.
- Set the SPEAKERS selector for the desired speaker system(s).

Tape Recordi
Recording from a program source (FM/AM broadcast, turntable or compact disc player) on a tape deck connected to the VCR/TAPE 1 and/or VCR/TAPE 2 jacks:
- Turn the VOLUME control knob to the minimum level and press the POWER switch. The HIGH CURRENT indicator lights up.
- . Set the SPEAKERS selector for the desired speaker system(s)
- Select the desired program source with the FUNCTION selector
- Set the VCR/TAPE MONITOR selector to the "source" position.
- Advance the VOLUME control knob to a comfortable level. If the program source mode is monaural, press the MODE switch to the "mono" position.
- Start recording by activating the tape deck(s) connected to the VCR/TAPE 1 and/or VCR/TAPE 2 jacks. The source sound can be listened to from the speakers or headphone.
- To monitor the sound being recorded, set the VCR/TAPI MONITOR selector to the "1" or "2" position according to the tape deck that you wish to monitor.
- Even if a VCR is connected to the VCR/TAPE jacks, audio programs can be recorded on video tape. When recording with a VCR, simulcast recording is possible. See "Background Video" column for details.
NOTE: The record output signal is carried directly from the program source without being influenced by the volume, balance, bass and treble controls, phase-correct loudness, subsonic and external processor switches of this unit.
Tape Dubbing
Two VCRs or tape decks can be connected to this unit and dubbing can be done from the tape in the VCR or tape deck connected to the VCR/TAPE 1 jacks onto the tape in the VCR or tape deck connected to the VCR/TAPE 2 jacks.
- Turn the VOLUME control knob to the minimum level and press the POWER switch. The HIGH CURRENT indicator lights up.
- Set the VCR/TAPE MONITOR selector to the "copy 1 to 2" position.
- If the program source mode is monaural, press the MODE switch to the "mono" position. After setting the VCR or tape deck connected to the
- VCR/TAPE 1 jacks for playback, and the VCR or tape deck connected to the VCR/TAPE 2 jacks for recording, dubbing will begin.
NOTE: You can listen to a program source selected via the FUNCTION selector while dubbing is taken place.
To monitor the sound being recorded, use the headphones connected to the phones jack of VCR or tape deck.

■ Haute capacité en courant instantané (HCC) Des recherches récentes ont démontré que lors de la repro-duction de signaux musicaux dynamiques. Timpédance ins-tantanée de presque tous les haut-parleurs chute à moins d'un tiers de sa valeur nominale. Ces faibles impédances instanta-nées exigent typiquement de 3 à 6 tois plus de courant qu'une impédance résistive de 8 ohms. Si l'amplificateur n'est pas capable de déliver de tells courants, cells as traduit par une réduction de la plage dynamique et une augmentation de la distorsion. Le PM650 Xi a tét, pour cette raison, étudié pour être capable de fournir un courant instantané de 35 ampères.

Veillez à ne pas enrouier ensemble les fils de connexions et le cordon d'alimentation. Il y a risque de dégradation de la
• Si vous connectez une seule table de lecture, n'oubliez pas d'introduire la fiche de mise à la masse dans les prises (PHONO MM ou MC) qui ne sont pas utilisées.
Connexion des enceintes acoustiques
Connecter les fils des enceintes sur les bornes "SPEAKER SYSTEM" du panneau arrière en prenant soin de ne pas inverser les deux canaux et en respectant les polarités des enceintes (+ et -).
Utiliser des fils de calibre suffisant (18 pour de courtes distances, 16-12 pour des distances plus longues). Il est recommandé d'utiliser des fils portant un code de couleur qui permet une identification aisée de la polarité Les fils des enceintes doivent être aussi courts que possible et les deux fils d'une paire d'enceintes doivent avoir la même Ionqueur.
Dénuder l'extrémité de chaque fil sur 20 mm (3/4 po) environ, et tordre les brins ensemble.
2. Après avoir vérifie la polarité et le canal dont il s'agit, desserrer le bouton de la borne pour enceinte et introduire la partie dénudée du fil, sans la plier, dans l'encoche située en haut et à droite de la borne. Le simple fait de resserrer le bouton va enrouler la partie dénudée du fil.
Placez le sélecteur "SPEAKER OPERATING MODE" du panneau arrière sur la position qui correspond à l'impédance de vos enceintes. Si cette impédance est de 4 Ω, placez le sélecteur sur "4 Ω". Si l'impédance des enceintes est de 8 Ω, placez le sélecteur sur "8 Ω". L'indicateur "High Voltace" du panneau avant s'allumera.
ATTENTION: Il est possible de connecter deux paires d'enceintes sur cet amplificateur. Si deux paires d'enceintes sont branchées, il faut prendre garde à ce que l'impédance résultante ne soit pas inférieure à 8 ou 4 ohms par canal, suivant la position du sélecteur "SPEAKER OPERATING MODE".

Le PM650 Vxi accepte les appareils vidéo. Pour connecter un magnétoscope, per exemple, il fuit 6 câbles au total. Deux câbles relient les deux sorties audio (gauche et droite) du magnétoscope aux bornes d'entrée audio "VCR/TAPE 1 ou LIN 'du PM650 Vxi. Deux câbles relient les bornes de sortie audio 'VCR/TAPE 1 ou 2 OUT' de l'amplificateur aux entrées audio du magnétoscope. Les deux derniers câbles relient de a même façon les entrées /sorties vidéo.

Connectez l'entrée vidéo du téléviseur à la borne "MONITOF OUT" du PM650 Vxi.

Touche de compensation physiologique à correcteur de phase (phase-correct loudness) Cette touche met en action un circuit unique d'égalisation des basses fréquences qui procure un son naturel même avec de petits haut-parleurs qui ont en général un mauvais rende-ment en basses fréquences. Ce circuit remplace également les systèmes de compensation physiologique conventionnels.
Touche de filtre à infrasons (subsonic) Enfoncer cette touche lors de la lecture de disques pour réduire les fréquences extrêmement basses qui risquent de faire vibrer excessivement le cône des haut-parleurs ou la table de lecture.
Sélecteur de mode (mode) Cette touche permet de combiner les signaux des canaux gauche et droit pour obtenir un signal mono.

Sélecteur de contrôle (VCR/TAPE MONITOR) Ce sélecteur est utilisé pour jouer une cassette audio ou vidéo ou pour contrôler un programme lors d'un enregistrement. "copy 1 to 2" : Dans cette position, il est possible d'effectuer un doublage de bande sur le magnétoscope ou la platine à cassettes connecté aux bornes "CCR/TAPE 2" à partir du magnétoscope ou de la platine connecté aux bornes "VCR/TAPE 1".

Bouton de réglage du volume (VOLUME) Ce bouton permet d'ajuster le volume. Le tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour élever le niveau sonore et vice-versa. Il est recommandé de réduire le volume au minimum avant une mise sous tension ou la sélection d'une autre source sonore pour éviter aux haut-parleurs les dégats éventuels causés par un saut brusque du niveau sonore.
Sélecteur de cellule (cartridge) Ce sélecteur permet d'obtenir le gain et l'impédance d'entrée du circuit d'entrée phono qui conviennent au type de cellule phono utilisé. Connecter la table de lecture aux bornes d'entrée "PHONO" appropriées (MM pour les cellules à aimant mobile ou MC pour les cellules à enroulement mobile) et placer le sélecteur sur ce type d'entrée.

Même si un magnétoscope est branché sur les bornes "VCR/TAPE", il est possible d'enregistrement avec magnétoscope, il est possible de regarder un programme vidéo. ALLGEMEINE ANLEITUNGEN
Aufstellungsort Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einer festen und ebenen Unterlage auf. Das Gerät niemals an Orten aufstellen, wo folgende Redingungen herrschen:
Anschluß anderer Bausteine
Beim Anschluß aller Kabel die Kanaltreue wahren. Stecker Sie die Stecker immer ganz in die Buchsen. Schlechte Anschluß der Stecker kann Brummen oder gelegentlich Zwischentöne verursachen und die Lautsprecher beschädiger

Ziehen Sie vor dem Anschließen der anderen Bausteine immer den Netzstecker sämtlicher Geräte.
Kann die Klangqualität beeinträchtigt werden. Wenn nur ein Plattenspieler an den Verstärker angeschlosse
wird, müssen die Buchsen für den anderen mit den mitgelieferten Steckern kurzgeschlossen werden.
Anschluß der Lautspreche
Schließen Sie die Lautsprecherkabel sorgfältig an die Lautsprecherausgänge auf der Geräterückseite an, und achten Sie darauf, nicht den linken und rechten Kanal oder die Lautsprecherpolarität (+ und -) zu vertauschen.
Verwenden Sie ausreichend dicke Leitungen. Wir empfehlen Verwendung von farbig codiertem Draht zur leichten Polaritätserkennung. Die Lautsprecherdrähte sollten so kurz wie möglich gehatten werden, und die linken und rechten Zuleitungen sollten dieich lang sein.
Entfernen Sie etwa 20 mm der Isolierung vom Ende jedes Kabels und draben Sie die Adern zusammen.
Nachdem Sie sich vergewissert haben, daß Kanal und Polaritär inchtig sind, lösen Sie den Lautsprecherausgangsknopf und führen das abisolierte Ende gerade in den Einlaß ober nechts auf dem Ausgang ein. Drehen Sie den Knopf fest, und das Ende des Lautsprecherdrahtes wird automatisch auforwickett
ben "SPEAKER OPERATING MODE"-Schalter auf der Geräterückseite auf den Impedanzwert einstellen, der dem der Lautsprecher entspricht. Falls Sie also Lautsprecher mit einer Impedanz von 4Ω verwenden, müssen Sie diesen Schalter auf "4Ω" stellen. Oder, bei Lautsprechern mit einer Impedanz von 8Ω den Schalter auf "8Ω" stellen, worauf die "High Voltage"-Diode auf der Vordresreite leuchtet.
INWEIS: Man kann zwei Lautsprechersysteme an dieses erät anschließen. Achten Sie beim Anschließen zweier autsprecherpaare darauf, daß die resultierende Impedanz emals die mit "SPEAKER OPERATING MODE" eingestellte Qu oder 8Q) unterschreitet.

ANMERKUNG: Achten Sie bei den Audiokabeln auf die Kanaltreue und verbinden Sie niemals Videoeingänge mit Audiobuchsen
Anschluß eines Fernsehgerät
Verbinden Sie die "Video Input" Buchse des Fernsehgera mit der "MONITOR OUT" Buchse des PM650Vxi.
ANSCHLUSSE
Netzschalter (POWER) Durch Drücken dieses Schalters wird das Gerät eingeschaltet, und "High Current" leuchtet auf. Drücken Sie den Schalter erneut, um das Gerät wieder auszuschalten.
Impedanzanzeige für die Boxen (High Voltage) biblid Sie den Impedanzwahlschalter "SPEAKER OPERAT-IG MODE" auf der Geräterückseite auf "80" stellen (siehe n Abschnit" Anschluß der Lautsprecher", auf Seite 23), uchtet diese Diode.
Kopfhörerbuchse (HEADPHONES) Stereo-Kopfhörer mit normalen Klinkensteckern können an diese. Buchse angeschlossen werden. Bei Stellung des "SPEAKERS"-Schalter auf "off", werden nur die Lautsprecher ausgeschaltet, die Musikwiedergabe erfolgt über Kopfhörer.
- Cautsprechersenung (* 1996) Dieser Schalter dient zur Wahl des gewünschten Lautsprecherpaares. "off" Wählen Sie diese Stellung, um die an die Anschlüsse von "SPEAKER SYSTEM 1" angeschossene Lautsprecher einzuschalten. Stellen Sie den "VCR/TAPE MONITOR"-Schalter entweder auf "1" oder "2", je nach den Buchsen, an die Sie den Videorekorder angeschlossen haben. Eine (bespielte) Cassette in den Videorekorder einlegen und diesen auf Wiedergabe stellen. Drehen Sie den "VULWET"-Regler im Uhrzeigersinn, bis die Lautstärke auf dem gewünschten Pegel ist, und stellen Sie den Kleng mit dem "BASS"- und "TREBLE"-Regler nach Wunsch ein. Setzen Sie erforderlichenfalls den "BALANCE"-Regler und die "phase-correct loudness"- oder "mode". Taste ein. Wenn Sie ein an die "EXTERNAL PROCESSOR" Buchsen angeschlossenes zusatzgrät verwenden möchten (z.8. einen graphischen Equalizer oder eine Stereo-Erweiter-ungsschaltung), müssen Sie die "external processor". CARATTERISTICHE
Capacità di elevata corrente instantanea (HCC)

Sistema di protezione elettronico sofisticato
I tecnici della Harman Kardon hanno elaborato un sistema di protezione originale grazia al quale elevata corrente istantanea può essere inviata ai sistemi altoparlanti proteggendo però l'amplificatore da cortocicciuti egi altoparlanti ei cavi da danni. Lungi dal limitare la tensione di uscita dell'amplificatore durante la riproduzione musicale, questo sistema di protezione non ha nessu effetto negativo sulla qualità sonora.
Sonorità a correzione di fase
La sonorità a correzione di fase è una caratteristica esclusiva della Harman Kardon che produce due effetti positivi fondamentali: equalizza e ripristina la risposta nelle basse frequenze di piccoli altoparlanti e può essere usata al posto del convenzionale contomo di sonorità. A differenza dei ciccuiti di accentuazione dei bassi convenzionali, la sonorità a correzione di di fase della Harman Kardon include anche un circuito di correzione di fase che mantiene il suono chiano e naturale.
ISTRUZIONI GENERALI
Usare sempre il voltaggio CA corretto
Collegare il cavo di collegamento solo a prese CA domestiche. Non collegare mai l'apparecchio a prese a voltaggio superiore. Ciò potrebbe provocare un incendio.
Questo apparecchio è provvisto sul pannello posteriore di un elettore di voltaggio che permette di scegliere tra 220 V e 240 V. Se il selettore non è regolato sul voltaggio locale, usando un cacciavite, portate il selettore sul voltaggio corretto prima di collegare il cavo di alimentzione alla presa di corrente.
Maneggiare con cura il ca
Non scollegare la spina dalla presa CA tirando il cavo: afferrare sempre la spina. Tirando il cavo si rischia di spezzare il filo.
Scollegare la spina dalla presa CA se non si intende usare l'apparecchio per un lungo periodo di tempo.
Non appoggiare mobili od oggetti pesanti sul cavo ed ovitare di farvi cadere sopra degli oggetti. Non annodre il cavo di alimentazione. Oltre a danneggiare il cavo, ciò potrebbe anche provocare un corto circuito con conseguente rischio di incendio.
Luogo di installazione
Collocare l'apparecchio su una superficie solida e piana. Evitare di installarlo nelle seguenti condizioni:
- Luoghi esposti direttamente alla luce del sole o vicini a font ii calore
- a calore. ▶Luoghi eccessivamente freddi, come quelli espo: direttamente alla corrente fredda di un condizionatore.
- Luoghi soggetti a vibrazioni eccessive e polvere. Luoghi scarsamente ventilati.
Non coprire i fori di ventilazione situati sulla sommità dell'apparecchio. Ciò potrebbe provocare il surriscaldamento dell'apparecchio, e quindi comprometterne l'affidabilità.

Nel caso un qualsiasi oggetto, liquido o solido, penetrasse nell'apparecchio, scollegarlo immediatamente dalla presa CA per evitare scosse elettriche e quindi rivolgersi a un centro di assistenza Harman Kardon autorizzato.
Pulizia
Quando l'apparecchio è sporco, pulirlo con un panno morbido e asciutto. Se necessario, pulirlo con un panno morbido inumidito in acqua saponata e quindi asciugarlo con un panno asciutto.
Non usare mai benzina, acquaragia, alcool o altre sostanze volatili ed evitare di spruzzare insetticidi vicino all'apparecchio.
Collegamento di altri componenti
Collegare le spine alle prese dei canali destro e sinistro. Inserire a fondo le spine. Spine non inserite perfettamente tendono a causare ronzio o suono intermittente con conseguenti danni per gli altoparlanti.
NOTA: Durante il collegamento di questo apparecchio agli altri componenti del sistema, scollegare il cavo di alimentazione di questo apparecchio e quelli degli altri componenti dalla prese CA.
Non attorcigliare i cavi di collegamento con quello di alimentazione. Cavi attorcigliati potrebbero danneggiare la qualità del suono.
Quanto dei audito. Quando si usa solo un giradischi, assicurarsi di inserire la spina a terminali corti in dotazione nella presa "PHONO MM" d "MC", quella cioè non usata.
Collegamento degli altoparlanti
Collegare i cavi degli altoparlanti ai rispettivi terminali sul panello posteriore, facendo attenzione a non confondere il canale destro col sinistro e a non invertire la polarità degli altoparlanti (+ e -).
Usarte un cavo suntoentennene spesso (ra gauge o r nim per brevi lunghezze, 16–12 gauge o da 1,3 mm a 2 mm per distanze maggiori). Si consiglia di usare del filo contrassegnato con colore per una più facile identificazione della polarità. I cavi degli altoparlanti vanno tenuti il più brevi possibile e la lunghezza del filo del canale destro e del sinistro dovrebbe essere la stessa.

Se gli altopariant possiedono un'impedenza nominale di 8 ohm, regolare questo interrutore sulla posizione 4Ω. Se gli altopariant Voltage" sul pannello anteriore si illumina.
ATTENZIONE: È possibile collegare a questo apparecchio due sistemi altoparlanti. Quando sono collegati due sistemi altoparlanti, fare attenzione a che l'impedenza netta non divenga inferiore a 8 o 4 ohm, a seconda della posizione su cui è regolato l'interrutire "CERATE O CREPATINC MODE"
Collegamento di componenti video
i possibile collegare componenti video all'amplificatore M660 VX. Per collegare una fonte, come ad esempio un ideoregistratore, i cavi devono essere collegati sia agli ingressi he alle usoite audio e video. Sono quindi necessari in totale i cavi. Collegare le prese di usorita audio del videoregistratore ille prese di ingresso audio "VCR/TAPE 1 o 2 IN" del PM650 Xia collegare le prese di ingresso audio del videoregistratore ille prese di usoita audio "VCR/TAPE 1 o 2 OUT" del PM650 Xia. Collegare le prese di ingresso e usoita video "IN e OUT" ello stesso modo.
NOTA: Quando si collegano i cavi, assicurarsi di non incrociare i canali e di non mischiare i cavi di segnale video e quelli di segnale audio.
Collegamento a un monitor
Collegare l'ingresso video del monitor TV al terminale MONITOR OUT" del PM650Vxi.
COLLEGAMENTI
INTERRUTTORE DI ALIMENTAZIONE (POWER) Premeto per accendere l'apparecchio. L'indicatore d'alta corrente "High Current" si illumina. Premeto di nuovo per segnere l'apparecchio.
INDICATORE D'ALTA CORRENTE (High Current) Questo indicatore si illumina in rosso premendo l'interruttore "POWER".
INDICATORE DI ALTA TENSIONE (High Voltage) Si illumina quando l'interrutore "SPEAKER OPERATING MODE", situato sul pannello posteriore, è regolato sulla posizione 8Ω. (Fare riferimento alla sezione "Collegamento degli atoparianti" a pagina 33.)
PRESA CUFFIE (HEADPHONES) Collegare a questa presa cuffie stereo con spina standard da 6.35 mm (1/4 di pollice). Il suono è udibile attraverso le cuffie anche quando il selettore "SPEAKERS" si trova nella posizione
- SELETTORE ALTOPARLANTI(SPEAKERS) Questo selettore serve per scegliere il sistema(i) altoparianti desiderato(i). "off" : Scegliere questa posizione per ascoltare attra verso le cuffice liminando il suono dal sistema(i)

MANOPOLA DI CONTROLLO DEI BASSI (BASS) Questa manopola controlla il livello del suono a bassa fre- quenza. Girarla in senso orario per accentuare il livello del suono a bassa frequenza e in senso antiorario per ridundo.
MANOPOLA DI CONTROLLO DEGLI ACUTI (TREBLE) Questa manopola controlla il livello del suono ad alta fre-quenza. Girarla in senso orario per accentuare il livello del suono ad alta frequenza e in senso antiorario per ridurlo.
MANOPOLA DI CONTROLLO DELL'EQUILIBRATURA
(B) MANOPOLA DI CONTROLLO DELL'EQUILIBRATURA (GALANCE) duesta manopola serve per equilibrare i canali destro e sinistro. È di solito posizionata ai centro. Giarda verso sinistra o verso destra per equilibrare il suono degli altoparlanti o delle cuffie se sembra sbilanciato.

- Se la fonte di programma è monoaurale, premere l'interruttore "mode" nella posizione "mono".

NOTA: Durante la duplicazione, è possibile ascoltare una fonte di programma scelta con il selettore "FUNCTION" mentre si sta duplicando.
Per ascoltare il suono in fase di registrazione, usare le cuffie collegate alle prese per cuffie del videoregistratore o della piastra a cassette.

Anslutning av ljudanläggningens övriga komponenter till förstärkaren
Anslut kontakterna på signalkablarna omsorgsfullt till de vänstra och högra kanalin/utgångarna. Tryck in kontaktern så längt det går. Det är nämligen vanligt att lösa kontakte resulterar i brum och/eller pulserande ljud, vilket kan skade högtalarna.
ANMÅRKNING: Dra ut nätsladden på samtliga komponenter ur nätuttagen för att koppla ur såväl denna som de övriga komponenterna i ljudanläggningen från nätet när du ansluter de övriga ljudkomponenterna i din hifi-anläggning till denna förstärkare.
Se till att signalkablarna inte dras så att de berör nätsladden. När ljudkablarna och nätsladden kommer i beröring med varandra försämras liudkvaliteten
När endast en skivspelare används, skall du se till att den medföljande kortstifts-kontakten ansluts till de PHONO MMeller MC-uttag som inte används.
Hogtalarnas anslutning
Ansitt nögtalarkablarna omsorgstullt till högtalaruttagen bak på förstärkaren. Se till att du inte blandar ihop vänster och höger kanal samt att du inte kastar om högtalarnas plus- (+) och minuspoler (-)
Använd en tillfäckligt tjock kabel. Vi rekommenderar användning av en kabel med kodfärgade ledare för lätt identifiering av polerna. Högtalarkablarna skall vara så korta som praktiskt möjligt. Dessutom skall den högra och vänstra kabeln vara lika långa.
Skala av ca. 20 mm av isoleringen på kabelns båda ändar och tvinna trådarna i kabeländarna.
2. Se först till att du gor anslutningen till rätt kanalutgång med korrekt polaritet. Struva sedan loss högtalaranslutningen på högtalaruttaget (SPEAKER SYSTEM). Sätt i ledaren rakt i den öppning som finns i högtalaruttagets övre högra del. Dra åt högtalaruttaget högtalaruttaget. Högtalarkabelns oisolerade ände fästs då automatiskt i höntalaruttaget.
3. Ställ in högtalarens funktionsomkopplare (SPEAKEI OPERATING MODE) på den bakre panelen så att de anpassas till högtalarnas impedans. Hooldtelefoonaansluiting (HEADPHONES) Op dzze aansluitbus kan een steree hooldtelefoon met een standaard klinkstekker worden aangestoten. Ook met de "SPEAKERS"-schakelaar in de "off" stand is via dzze hoofdielefoonaansluiting het weergeeven egluid te horen.

Netschakelaar (POWER)
Druk op deze schakelaar, zodat de "High Current"-indikator oplicht, om het apparaat in te schakelen. Druk nogmaals op de schakelaar om het apparaat in te schakelen.
Spanningsindikator (High Current)
Bij het indrukken van de "POWER"-toets licht deze indikator rod op.
- gesloten op de "SPEAKER SYSTEM 1" aan-sluitingen. "speaker 2". Zeit de schäkelaar in deze stand voor het in-schäkelen van het luidsprekerpaar dat is aan-gesloten op de "SPEAKER SYSTEM 2" aan-sluitingen. "1 + 2" : Gebruik deze stand om via beide aangesloten luidsprekerparen (aangesloten op "SPEAKER SYSTEM 1 en 2") tegelijk het geluid te be-luisteren.
Lagetonenregelaar (BASS) Met deze knop regelt u het geluidsvolume van de lage tonen. Draal de knop naar rechts voor meer, en naar links voor minder lage tonen.
Hogetonenregelaar (TREBLE) Met deze knop regelt u het geluidsvolume van de hoge tonen Draai de knop naar rechts voor meer, en naar links voor minder hoge tonen.
Balansregelaar (BALANCE) Met deze knop regelt u de volume-verhouding tussen de rechter en linker luidspreker. Draai hem of naar rechts of naar links om het volume van het rechter ca, linker kanaal op te
Fysiologische faze-korrektie (phase-correct loudness) Met deze schakelaar kunt u een uniek fysiologisch toonre-gelcircuit voor de lage tonen inschakelen, zodat u ook van kleinere luidsprekers, die gewonlijk in de lagere frekwenties te weinig vermogen bieden, een natuurgetrouwe weergave verkrigt. Volumeregelaar (VOLUME)
(b) Volumeregelar (VOLUME) Mat deze knop regelt i het geluidsniveau. Draaai de knop naar rechts voor verhogen, en naar links voor verlagen van het geluidsniveau. Zet de knop in de minimumstand alvorens u het apparaet inschakelt en ovk voor het verdaderen van ge-luidsbron, om te voorkomen dat de luidsprekers beschadige worden door een plotselinge geluidspiek.
Elementkeuzeschakelaar (cartridge) Met deze schakelaar kunt u de ingangsimpedantie en beno-digde ingangsspanning aanpassen aan het gebruikte element. De schakelingen voor een pick up, aangesloten op de "PHONO MM" aansluitingen worden aangepast aan magnetische (MM) elementen, terwijl de schakelingen voor een pick up, aan-gesloten op de "PHONO MC" aansluitingen worden aangepast aan dynamische (MC) elementen.
OPMERKING Het geluid dat op de video- of cassetterecorder wordt opgenomen komt rechtstreeks van de geluidsbron, zonder beinvloed te worden door de 'VOLUME', "BALANCE", 'TREBLE' of 'BASS'-regelaars of de schakel-aars voor "phase-correct loudness", 'subsonic' of 'external processor'.
Om het geluid af te luisteren dat opgenomen wordt, dient u een hoofdtelefoon aan de desbetreffende aansluiting van de recorder aan te sluiten.
BEDIENING
- Zet de "VOLUME"-regelaar in de minimumstand en druk de "POWER"-toets in. De "High Current"-indikator licht dan op. Kies het gewenste luidsprekerpaar of beide paren door het instellen van de "SPEAKERS"-schakelaar. Zet de "VCR/TAPE MONITOR"-schakelaar. Zet de "VCR/TAPE MONITOR"-schakelaar. Steid de ration, dankelkeur naar wene de bespeelde cassette in het cassettedeck gebruikt wordt voor afspelen. Steid de "VOLUME"-regelaar in op een komfortabel luistemiveau en regel de klankkleur naar wens met de "BASS" en "TREBLE"-regelaars of de "phase-correct loudness" en de "mode" toetsen. Draai zo nodig aan de "BALANCE" regelaar en druk op de "phase-correct loudness" of "mode" toetsen. Als u een grafische equalizer of een stereoklankbeeld-expansieapparat wens te gebruiken, dat aan de "EX-TERNAL PROCESSOR" aansluitingen is aangesloten druk dan op de "external processor" toets om alle signalen naar het rendapparaat testuren.

Vor dem Zusammenbau des Plattenspielers zurert das Kartonstück unter dem Innentetler entnehmen. Dafür den Teller etwas anheben. Danach sind die Transportsicherungen zu lösen. Dazu sind sie so zu verdrehen, daß deren Steg mit dem Chassisschlitz fluchtet. Dann lassen sie sich – die hintere zuerst – nach oben herausnehmen. Sie sind als Werkzeug für die Chassisjustage und für spätere Transporte aufzuhgewahren.
Den Gummiantriebsriemen um den inneren Plattenteller und die Riemenscheibe legen. Den äußeren Plattenteller auf den Innenteller aufsetzen
Vermeiden Sie Öl- oder Fettspuren auf Antriebsriemen, Motor-Riemenscheibe und der Lauffläche des inneren Plattentellers.
Alkohol getränkten nicht fasernden Lappen zu reinigen.

Zuletzt die mitgelieferten Plastikstopfen in die Offnungen oberhalb der Scharniere (Innenseite der Staubschutzhaube) eindrücken und die Filzplättchen an die vorderen Eckkanten der Staubschutzhaube aufkleben.

Unpacking and Assembly
Take out the headshell with the mounting guide, the alignment mirror, and the AC mains adapter from the upper styrofoam packing
After removing the upper styrofoam packing from the outer carton, remove the turntable components from the lower styrofoam packing in the following order:
- Dust cover, including the plastic bag with the felt pads and plastic plugs for the dust cover as well as the tone arm mounting hardware.

When removing the chassis, hold the packing carton between your legs.
- The lower styrofoam packing

the adapter for records with large center hole. the tone arm counterweight.
Before assembling the turntable, raise the turntable platter slightly to remove the cardboard spacer underneath. Turn each transport lock until the ridge is in line with the gap in the turntable chassis, and pull out to remove; at first the one at the back. Save the locks as tools for chassis adjustments and for subsequent transport.
Loop the drive belt around the inner turntable platter and the motor pulley.
Place the outer turntable platter on the inner one and set the rubber mat in place.
Avoid oil or traces of grease on the drive belt, motor pulley, and the drive surface of the inner turntable platter. If required, these surfaces may be cleaned with a lint-free cloth dampened with alcohol.
Fit the dust cover into the hinges of the turntable chassis.
Finally, press the plastic plugs into the openings above the hinges on the inside of the dust cover, and glue the felt pads to the lower front corners of the cover.
Déballage et Assemblag

Après avoir sorti la partie supérieure de l'emballage Styropor du carton, retirer ces éléments de la partie inférieure de l'emballage Styropor dans l'ordre indiqué ci-après:
- 1. le couvercle anti-poussière avec le sachet contenant les accessoires de montage de la cellule, les bouchons
- le plateau extérieur avec la nappe de caoutchouc
- le châssis Pour sortir le châssis, maintenir le carton de l'emballage
Les éléments suivants sont logés dans la partie inférieure de l'emballage Styropor
- la courroie d'entraînement
- le centre amovible pour disques 45 t
Avant de procéder à l'assemblage de la table de lecture, il faut premièrement retirer la cale de carton située sous le plateau intérieur, en soulevant légérement ce dernier. Ensuite enlever les éléments de vérouillage pour le transport en les faisant tourner de manière à aligner leur traverse sur la fente du châssis et en commençant par l'élément situé à l'arrière; il est alors facile de les retirer vers le haut. Ils doivent être conservés comme outil pour le réglage de hauteur du châssis et pour un éventuel transport ultérieur.
Mettre en place la courroie d'entraînement de caoutchouc autour du plateau intérieur et de la poulie motrice. Centrer le plateau extérieur sur le plateau intérieur et poser la nappe de caoutchouc.
Le parfait fonctionnement du système d'entraînement n'est assuré que si la courroie, la poulie motrice et la périphérie du plateau intérieur sont exemptes de toute trace d'huile ou de graisse. Si nécessaire, les nettoyer avec un tissu propre imprégné d'alcolo.
Monter le couvercle anti-poussière dans les charnières du socle de l'appareil.
Pour terminer, introduire les bouchons plastique fournis dans les trous restés ouverts au-dessus des charnières (côté intérieur du couvercle). Coller les feutres aux angles antérieurs du couvercle.

Die vielen Möglichkeiten beim Erdanschluß führen manchmalzu einer fehlerhaften Erdverbindung. Sie äußert sich in einem Brummgeräusch in den Lautsprechern, dessen Lautstärke sich mit dem Lautstärkeregler beeinflussen läßt. Bei seinem Auftreten sollte zunächst untersucht werden, ob die Masseverbindung einen sicheren Kontakt am Verstärker aufweist.
Ist dieses Brummgeräusch durch eigene Versuche mit der Erdverbindung nicht zu beseitigen sollte der Fachhändler befragt, oder eine THORENS Servicestelle zu Rate gezogen werden.
Eine weitere Quelle für Brummstörungen stellt die mögliche magnetisch Einstrahlung des Netzleites anderer Geräte (z.B. Verstärker, Receiver, CD-Player, Tuner u.s.w) auf das Tonabnehmersystem dar. Solche Fehlerursachen kann man leicht selbst ermitteln, indem man die Aufstellung des Plattenspielers gegenüber den anderen Geräten verändert.
Obwohl THORENS-Plattenspieler gegenüber Erschütterungen sehr unempfindlich sind, stellen diese ein generelles Problem bei der Plattenwiedergabe mit hochwertigen Tonabnehmern dar. Man wähle ein stabiles Möbel für seine Aufstellung und vermeide die Nähe von Lautsprechern. Bisweilen reicht dies in älteren Häusern mit Holzbalkendecken nicht aus. Hier hilt meistens die Aufstellung des Plattenspielers auf einer Konsole, die mit geigneten Konsolenträgern an eine tragende Zimmerwand geschraubt ist.
Electrical Connections and Turntable Installation
The turntable may be connected to any common mains voltage by employing the appropriate THORENS AC mains adapter.
Insert the low voltage plug on the cable of the mains adapter into the matching socket on the rear of the turntable.
The stereophonic signal cable is equipped with two RCA phono plugs, coded as follows: L for the left channel, and R for the right channel. If these letters are not used, the right channel is identified by a white stripe.
The phono plugs are inserted into the jacks labeled "phono", "disco" or "turntable" on the amplifier or receiver employed.
The separate wire is attached to the grounding screw on the amplifier. If such a screw is not provided on the amplifier employed, attach the wire to the outer conductor of any input jack not

The many grounding paths in the system may occasionally result in a faulty ground connection; in this case, hum noises will be heard in the loudspeakers that may be varied in intensity with the volume control. If hum occurs, check first whether the groundingwire is in proper contact with the amplifier chassis
If the hum cannot be eliminated by securing the grounding connections, consult your dealer or a THORENS service center.
Hum disturbances may also be caused by magnetic fields from the power supplies of other units (e.g., amplifiers, receivers, CD players, tuners) that picked up by the phonograph cartridge. Such interference may be easily eliminated by installing the turntable a sufficient distance away from other equipment.
Although THORENS furntables are highly insensitive to vibration, mechanical disturbances pose a general problem for record reproduction with high-quality pickup cartridges. Place the turntable on a stable piece of furniture and avoid the vicinity of loudspeakers. These measures are sometimes not sufficient in older houses with wooden floors. In this case, it is recommended to mount the turntable on a heavy cabinet screwed to a supporting wall beam with suitable braces.

Le câble stéréphonique de connexion possède deux fiches phonoconnecteurs (fiches RCA ou CINCH) portant les indication L pour le canal gauche et R pour le canal droite. Si ces lettres manquent, le canal droite est repéré par une hande blanche.

Les nombreuses possibilités de mise à terre conduisent parfois à un raccordement défectueux qui se manifeste par un ronronnement dans les haut-parleurs dont le niveau peut être modifié par le bouton de règlage de niveau.
Dans un tel cas il faut premièrement s'assurer que la connexion du fil de masse à l'amplificateur assure un contact parfait.
Si ces perturbations ne peuvent être éliminées par vos propres essais de mise à terre, nous vous prions de consulter votre revendeur ou le service après-vente THORENS.
Une autre source de ronronnement perturbateur peut être constituée par la radiation magnétique de l'alimentation d'autres appareils (p. ex. amplificateur, receiver, tuner, lecteur CD, etc.) sur la cellule de lecture. Il est facile d'éliminer de telles perturbations en modifiant l'emplacement de la table de lecture par rapport aux autres appareils.
Bien que les tables de lecture THORENS soient particulièrement insensibles aux secousses extérieures, ces dernières représentent un problème d'ordre général pour la lecture des disques au moyen de cellules de haute qualité. Il est donc conseillé de placer la table de lecture sur un support stable et d'éviter la proximité des hautparleurs. De telles mesures se révélent parfois insuffisantes dans d'anciennes maisons aux poutraisons instables. Einstellung der Antiskatingkraft
Die Heiolung Zwischen dem Abtastolamant und der Schalrille erzeugt eine Kraft, die den Tonarm nach innen in Richtung Plattenetikett ziehen will. Man nennt sie Skatingkraft. Sie ist unerwünscht, denn sie bewirkt, daß die Auflagekraft auf der Innenwand der Rille stärker als auf der Außenwand ist.
Mit der Antiskatingsvorrichtung am Tonarm kann man sie kompensieren, also ihre Wirkung aufheben. Weil die Stärke der Skatingkraft vom gewählten Auflagegewicht abhängt, muß man auch die Antiskatingkraft entsprechend dem Auflagegewicht einstellen.
Tonarm zwei Zahlenreihen. Die rechte Reihe entspricht den Auflagegewichten bei trockener Abspielung.
Wiedergabe mit einer speziellen Vorrichtung befeuchtet so gilt die linke Zahlenreihe.
Zur Einsteilung wird der Schleber durch Drehen des Bedienknopfes im Gegenuhrzeigersinn gelöst, auf den gewünschten Zahlenwert geschoben und anschließend wieder befestigt.
Die für die einzelnen Tonabnehmer empfohlenen Auflagegewichte sind meistens nur Mittelwerte. Sollten bei deren Einstellung Verzerrungen auftreten, so ist eine Korrektur notwendig.
Zur Ermittlung des optimalen Auflagegewichtes spielt man eine gute Stereoschallplatte mit lauten Passagen kurz vor der Auslaufrille.ab.
Nun verändert man die Antiskatingeinstellung ebenfalls in kleinen Schritten, bis die Verzerrungen in beiden Lautsprechern unhörbar geworden sind.
The friction between the picl
Antiskating Adjustment
groove produces a force that tends to pull the tone arm toward the center of the turntable. This action, known as the skating force, has the undesirable effect of placing more stylus pressure on the inward wall of the groove than on the outer wall.
The antiskating device on the tone arm enables this force to be compensated, thus eliminating the one-sided pressure on the groove. Since the skating force depends on the tracking force employed, the antiskating force must be selected in relation to the tracking force.
For this purpose, the adjustment scale of the antiskating device is provided with two rows of numbers. The righthand row is employed for playing with a dry record surface. If a liquid groove cleaner is used during reproduction, the left-hand row of numbers is employed for the wet record surface.
To adjust, loosen the pointer by turning the knob in the counterclockwise direction; shift the pointer to the desired numerical value, and retighten.
The tracking force specified for any pickup cartridge usually represents only an average value. If distortion is heard at the value set, correct the adjustment.
To determine the optimum tracking force, play a stereo record in good condition with loud passages near the leadout groove.
If distortion is clearly heard in both channels, raise the tracking force in small steps of 0.25 grams until the distortion in one of the two loudspeakers reaches a minimum level.
Change the antiskating force, likewise in small steps, until the distortion is inaudible in both loudspeakers.

La valeur de la force centripète étant fonction de la force d'appui, il convient d'ajuster la force de compensation selon la force ("annuleforce")
Le cadran du dispositif de compensation de la force centripête comporte deux séries de chiffres. La série droite correspond aux forces d'appui pour une lecture des disques à sec, la série gauche aux forces d'appui pour une lecture des disques à film liquide, c. à d. lorsque la surface modulée du disque est humectée, durant la lecture, par un dispositif spécial.
Pour effectuer ce réglage, libérer le curseur en tournant le bouton de commande en sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre et le déplacer jusqu'à la valeur désirée. Ne pas oublier de le fixer à nouveau après l'opération.
Les forces d'appui recommandées pour les diverses cellules sont, le plus souvent, des valeurs moyennes. Si, après avoir effectué les réglages, des distorsions restaient audibles, une correction s'imposerait.
Pour déterminer la valeur optimale de la force d'appui, passer un bon disque stéréo avec des passages fortement modulés peu avant le sillon terminal.
- Si des distorsions sont nettement audibles dans les deux canaux, augmenter la force d'appui par paliers de 0,25 gr. jusqu'à ce que les distorsions atteignent un minimum dans l'un des deux haut-parleurs.
- Modifier alors le réglage du dispositif de compensation de la force centripète, également par petits paliers, jusqu'à ce que les distorsions disparaissent dans les deux haut-parleurs.

Tonarmlift
Den Tonarm über die Einlaufrille der Schallplatte oder über den Anfang des gewünschten Stückes positionieren. Durch Drehen des Liftknopfes in die Position 𝗶 den Tonarm auf die Schallplatte absenken.
Soll ein Musikstück in der Nähe der Auslaufrille gesuch werden, so verhindert man ein unbeabsichtigtes Abschalten indem man während des Suchvorganges die Starttaste (2) niederaedrückt hält.
Endabschaltung
Erreicht der Tonarm die Auslaufrille, so tritt eine elektronische Abschaltvorrichtung in Tätigkeit:

Operation of the TD 320 Mk II
The rotary knob (1) to the left of the turntable platter is employed for speed selection and for interrupting play. The startbutton (2) is located to the right of the knob.
The rotary knob (3) to the right of the platter controls the tone arm lift. The arm may be raised or lowered at any point on the record.
Speed Selection and Starting
For playing normal stereo and LP records at 33 rpm, turn the rotary knob (1) to the left to the "33" position. For 7" records and for maxi singles played at 45 rpm, turn to the right to position "45". To start the turntable platter, press the start/button (2).
The adapter for playing records with large center hole is included as an accessory.
Tone Arm Lift
Position the tone arm over the lead-in groove or the beginning of the selection to be played. By turning the rotary knob to the T position, the tone arm will be leaved to the surface of the record
When locating a selection near the lead-out groove, hold down the start button (2) to prevent the autostop device from being activated.
Autostop
When the pickup stylus reaches the lead-out groove, the electronic autostop device is activated: The tone arm is lifted, the lift knob (3) returns to the rest position Y and the turntable is switched off automatically. The rotary knob remains set to the selected speed. It does not need to be returned to the "STOP" position, even if the unit is not operated for an extended period of time.
Interrupting Play
To turn off the turntable before the pickup stylus reaches the lead-out groove, turn the rotary knob (1) to the "STOP" position. The tone arm will be lifted, the rotary knob (3) for the lift returns to its rest position, and the turntable is switched off.

Sélection de la vitesse et mise en marche
Pour la lecture de disques microsillons et stéréophoniques normaux, à 33 t/m, tourner le bouton rotatif (1) vers la gauche sur la position "33". Pour les petits disques à 45 t/m et pour les "Maxi-Singles", tourner le bouton (1) vers la droite sur la position "45".
Pour mettre en marche le plateau tourne-disques, pressen a touche ''Start'' (2).
Parmi les accessoires, vous trouverez l'adaptateur permettant de centrer les disques à large trou central.
Dispositif de commande du bras lecteu
Amener le bras lecteur au-dessus du sillon initial du disque pu au-dessus du début de la plage désirée. La rotation du pouton (3) sur la position de jeu ▼ fera descendre le bras sur le disque.
Si le bras est déplacé vers le centre pour le jeu d'une plage proche du sillon terminal, il est possible d'empêcher l'action de l'arrêt automatique en maintenant enfoncée la touche "Start" (2), durant la recherche.
Arrêt automatique
Lorsque le bras lecteur atteint le sillon terminal du disque l'arrêt automatique électronique entre en fonction. Le bras lecteur se relève, le bouton de commande (3) retourne er position relevée. Te le tourne-disques s'arrête.
Le bouton (1) reste sur la vitesse choisie en dernier lieu et n'a pas besoin d'être ramené en position "Stop", même pour une période prolongée.
Interruption de ieu
S'il est nècessaire d'arrêter le tourne-disques avant que le bras lecteur ait atteint le sillon terminal, il suffit de tourner le bouton (1) vers la position "Stop". Le bras lecteur se relève alors, le bouton de commande (3) retourne en position relevée 2 et le tourne-disques s'arrête.
