compatibility information in release notes for complete and updated requirements.
•Internal storage. K2 Summit Production Client with direct-connect storage or shared
storage (K2 SAN) is not supported.
•Depending on media formats required, a K2 Summit Production Client must have
appropriate licenses and/or hardware installed.
•The version of K2 system software must be compatible with the version of K2
Dyno software. Refer to release notes.
•AppCenter Pro license is required. On K2 Solo Media Server, the license is standard.
On K2 Summit Production Client, the license must be installed, if not already

Procure software and/or hardware
Depending on your desired system, procure the following items so that they are
available for the installation process. You can download software from
http://www.grassvalley.com/support/downloads.
•If K2 System software, K2 Dyno Client software, or K2 Dyno Server software
must be installed or upgraded, procure the appropriate version via download or
other mechanism.
•If AppCenter Pro is not currently licensed on the K2 Summit Production Client to
which you are connecting the K2 Dyno Replay Controller, consider the following:
•When you install K2 system software, AppCenter Pro is licensed with a 30
day trial license.
•To avoid installation delays, start the licensing process well before the 30
day trial period expires.
•The following additional devices typically make up a complete system. Procure as
necessary:
Overview of systems
•
Two VGA monitors (1024 x 768 x 32 or greater) and cables
