ATTACHING YOUR REMOTE TO THE STRAP

The attachment strap lets you wear your remote on your wrist or attach it to
backpack straps, ski poles, bike frames, and more. Smart Remote is waterproof
to 33ft (10m).

1. Thread the strap through the slots on the back of the remote.

2. Position the remote along the strap as shown.

You can pair Smart Remote with any wireless-enabled GoPro. The remote can
control up to 50 cameras* at a time from up to 600ft (180m) away in optimal
conditions. Your camera recognizes only one remote at a time.

PAIRING YOUR REMOTE WITH YOUR HERO8 BLACK OR HERO7 BLACK

1. Power o the remote.

2. On your camera, complete these steps:
a. From the main screen, swipe down.
b. Tap Preferences > Connections > Connect Device > Smart Remote.

The camera will automatically begin pairing.

c. Power on the remote. If the remote was never paired with a camera, it will

automatically begin pairing. Otherwise, press and hold the Settings/Tag
button for four seconds to begin pairing. Once the devices are paired,
a conrmation will appear on each screen.

CONNECTING YOUR REMOTE AFTER PAIRING

After you’ve paired your remote and camera, you can start connecting through
your camera’s Connections menu.

1. Power on your remote and camera.

2. On your camera, follow these steps:
a. From the main screen, swipe down.
b. Tap Preferences > Connections > Wireless Connections to turn on

wireless. (On GoPro cameras older than HERO7 Black, tap Connections >
Wireless Connections.)

Head s Up: Your camera will connect to the remote that was connected to
most recently.

Capturing Video and Photos

Use the remote to capture video and photos with one camera or
multiple cameras.

TO CAPTURE VIDEO OR PHOTOS

1. Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle to the mode
that you want.

2. Press the Shutter/Select button to start capturing.

3. To stop capturing video or time lapse content, press the Shutter/Select
button again.

If your camera goes out of range of the remote while you are recording,
recording will continue until you stop it.

CHANGING PRESETS (HERO8 BL ACK)

1. Press the Settings button to see all the presets for the selected mode.

2. Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through the presets.

3. Press the Shutter/Select button to select the preset that you want.

PRO TIP: Mark favorite moments by pressing the Power/Mode button on
the remote during recording or playback. This adds a HiLight Tag that makes
those moments easier to nd later.

FIXATION DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE À LA SANGLE

La sangle permet de xer la télécommande à votre poignet, à des sangles de sac à
dos, à des bâtons de ski, à des cadres de vélo et plus encore. La SmartRemote est
étanche jusqu’à 10m.

1. Faites passer la sangle à travers les fentes au dos de la télécommande.

2. Positionnez la télécommande sur la sangle, comme illustré ci-dessous.

UTILISATION DE VOTRE TÉLÉCOMMANDE AVEC LA CLÉ ET L’ANNEAU

La clé et l’anneau de xation permettent de xer la télécommande à vos cordons,
sangles, clés de voiture, fermetures à glissière et plus encore.

1. Faites glisser le levier de verrouillage et maintenez-le dans le sens de la èche (A),
puis tirez la clé à l’extérieur de la télécommande (B).

2. Attachez l’anneau à un cordon, une sangle, etc.

3. Clipsez la clé de xation dans la fente de la clé.

1. Éteignez la télécommande.

2. Sur votre caméra, eectuez les étapes suivantes:
a. À partir de l’écran principal, glissez vers le bas.
b. Appuyez sur Préférences> Connexions> Connecter un périphérique>

SmartRemote. La caméra entre automatiquement en mode d’appariement.

c. Allumez la télécommande. Si la télécommande n’a jamais été appariée à

une caméra, une procédure automatique d’appariement se lance. Dans le
cas contraire, maintenez le bouton Paramètres/Balise enfoncé pendant
4secondes pour commencer l’appariement. Une fois les périphériques
appariés, un message de conrmation s’ache sur chaque écran.

CONNEXION DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE APRÈS L’APPARIEMENT

Une fois la télécommande et la caméra appariées, vous pouvez commencer à
réaliser des connexions via le menu Connexions de votre caméra.

1. Allumez la télécommande et la caméra.

2. Sur votre caméra, eectuez les étapes suivantes:
a. À partir de l’écran principal, glissez vers le bas.
b. Pour activer la connexion sans l, appuyez sur Préférences> Connexions>

Connexions sans l. (Sur les caméras GoPro antérieures à HERO7 Black,
appuyez sur Connexions > Connexions sans l.)

Attention: votre caméra se connecte à la dernière télécommande connectée.

Capture de vidéos et de photos

Utilisez la télécommande pour prendre des vidéos et des photos avec une seule
caméra ou plusieurs.

POUR CAPTURER UNE VIDÉO OU DES PHOTOS

1. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur le boutonAlimentation/Mode pour accéder au
mode souhaité.

2. Appuyez sur le boutonObturateur/Sélection pour commencer à capturer.

3. Pour arrêter la capture d’une vidéo ou d’un contenu en accéléré, appuyez sur
le boutonObturateur/Sélection.

Si votre caméra sort de la portée de la télécommande pendant un enregistrement,
celui-ci continue jusqu’à ce que vous l’arrêtiez.

MODIFICATION DES PRÉRÉGLAGES (HERO8 BLACK)

1. Appuyez sur le bouton Paramètres pour acher tous les préréglages du
mode sélectionné.

2. Appuyez sur le bouton Alimentation/Mode pour passer d’un préréglage à
une autre.

3. Appuyez sur le bouton Obturateur/Sélectionner pour sélectionner le
préréglage souhaité.

ASTUCE D E PRO: marquez comme favoris vos moments préférés en
appuyant sur le bouton Alimentation/Mode de la télécommande pendant
l’enregistrement ou la lecture. Cela ajoute une balise HiLight qui facilite la

Tragen der Smart Remote

BEFESTIGEN DER FERNBEDIENUNG AM BAND

Mit dem Befestigungsband kannst du die Fernbedienung am Handgelenk tragen
oder sie an Rucksackriemen, Skistöcken, Fahrradrahmen und vielem mehr
anbringen. Die Smart Remote ist bis 10m wasserdicht.

1. Führe das Band durch die Schlitze an der Rückseite der Fernbedienung.

2. Positioniere die Fernbedienung wie gezeigt entlang des Bandes.

Tragen der Smart Remote

VERWENDEN DER FERNBEDIENUNG MIT SCHLÜSSEL + RING

Mit dem Befestigungsschlüssel und dem Ring kannst du die Fernbedienung
an Tragebändern, Gurten, Autoschlüsseln, Reißverschlüssen und vielem mehr
anbringen.

1. Schiebe und halte den Verriegelungshebel in Pfeilrichtung(A). Ziehe anschließend
den Schlüssel aus der Fernbedienung(B).

2. Befestige den Ring an Schlüsselband, Gurten usw.

3. Schiebe den Befestigungsschlüssel in den Steckplatz, bis er einrastet.

Du kannst die Smart Remote mit jeder WLAN-fähigen GoPro koppeln. Mit der
Fernbedienung lassen sich bis zu 50Kameras* gleichzeitig aus bis zu 180m
Entfernung steuern (bei optimalen Bedingungen). Deine Kamera erkennt nur eine
Fernbedienung auf einmal.

KOPPELN DER FERNBEDIENUNG MIT HERO8BLACK ODER HERO7BLACK

1. Schalte die Fernbedienung aus.

2. Führe auf deiner Kamera folgende Schritte durch:
a. Wische im Hauptbildschirm nach unten.
b. Tippe auf „Einstellungen“ > „Verbindungen“ > „Gerät verbinden“ > „Smart

Remote“. Die Kamera beginnt automatisch mit dem Koppeln.

c. Schalte die Fernbedienung ein. Wenn die Fernbedienung noch nie mit

einer Kamera gekoppelt wurde, beginnt die Kopplung automatisch. Halte
ansonsten die Einstellungen/Tag-Taste vier Sekunden lang gedrückt,
um das Koppeln zu starten. Sobald die Geräte gekoppelt sind, wird eine
Bestätigung auf beiden Displays angezeigt.

VERBINDEN DER FERNBEDIENUNG NACH DEM KOPPELN

Nachdem du die Fernbedienung und die Kamera gekoppelt hast, kannst du über
das Menü „Verbindungen“ deiner Kamera eine Verbindung herstellen.

1. Schalte die Fernbedienung und die Kamera ein.

2. Führe auf deiner Kamera folgende Schritte durch:
a. Wische im Hauptbildschirm nach unten.
b. Tippe zum Einschalten von WLAN auf „Einstellungen“ > „Verbindungen“ >

„WLAN-Verbindungen“. (Tippe bei GoPro Kameras, die älter als HERO7Black
sind, auf „Verbindungen > „WLAN-Verbindungen“.)

Beac hte: Deine Kamera verbindet sich mit der Fernbedienung, mit der sie zuletzt
verbunden war.

Videos und Fotos aufnehmen

Verwende die Fernbedienung, um Videos und Fotos mit einer oder mehreren
Kameras aufzunehmen.

AUFNEHMEN VON VIDEOS ODER FOTOS

1. Drücke wiederholt die Power/Modus-Taste , um zum gewünschten Modus
zu gelangen.

2. Drücke die Auslöser/Auswahl-Taste , um mit dem Aufnehmen zu beginnen.

3. Drücke zum Stoppen von Video- oder Zeitraeraufnahmen erneut die
Auslöser/Auswahl-Taste.

Falls deine Kamera während des Aufnehmens die Reichweite der Fernbedienung
überschreitet, wird weiter aufgenommen, bis du die Aufnahme stoppst.

ÄNDERN DER VOREINSTELLUNGEN (HERO8BLACK)

1. Drücke die Taste „Einstellungen“ , um alle Voreinstellungen für den
ausgewählten Modus anzuzeigen.

2. Drücke wiederholt die Power/Modus-Taste , um zwischen den
Voreinstellungen zu wechseln.

3. Drücke die Auslöser-/Auswahl-Taste , um die gewünschte Voreinstellung
auszuwählen.

PROFITIPP: Markiere deine Lieblingsmomente, indem du während der
Aufnahme oder Wiedergabe die Power/Modus-Taste auf der Fernbedienung
drückst. Dadurch wird ein HiLight Tag hinzugefügt, mit dem diese Momente
später leichter zu nden sind.

Indossare lo Smart Remote

FISSARE IL TELECOMANDO ALLA FASCIA

La fascia di collegamento consente di allacciare il telecomando al polso o di
assicurarlo a cinghie dello zaino, racchette da sci, telaio della bici e altro ancora. Lo
Smart Remote è impermeabile no a 10 metri.

1. Inserire la fascia nelle fessure presenti sulla parte posteriore del telecomando.

2. Posizionare il telecomando sulla fascia come mostrato.

FISSARE IL TELECOMANDO UTILIZZANDO CHIAVE + ANELLO

La chiave e l’anello di ssaggio consentono di assicurare facilmente il telecomando
a cordini, fasce, chiavi dell’auto, zip e altro ancora.

1. Far scorrere e tenere ferma la leva di ssaggio nella direzione della freccia (A) e
poi estrarre la chiave dal telecomando (B).

2. Fissare l’anello a cordini, fasce, ecc.

3. Spingere la chiave di ssaggio nella fessura della chiave no a quando non scatta
in posizione.

Tenere premuto il pulsante Accensione/
Modalità per due secondi.

È possibile abbinare lo Smart Remote a qualsiasi GoPro che supporta la
connessione wireless. Il telecomando può controllare no a 50 fotocamere* alla
volta no a una distanza massima di 180 metri in condizioni ottimali. La fotocamera
riconosce un solo telecomando alla volta.

In base a modello della fotocamera e a fattori come terreno, ostacoli, interferenze

elettromagnetiche e condizioni ambientali.

ABBINARE IL TELECOMANDO ALLA FOTOCAMERA HERO8 BLACK O
HERO7BLACK

1. Spegnere il telecomando.

2. Eettuare le seguenti operazioni sulla fotocamera:
a. Dalla schermata principale, scorrere verso il basso.
b. Toccare Preferenze > Connessioni > Connetti dispositivo > Smart Remote.

La fotocamera inizierà automaticamente l’abbinamento.

c. Accendere il telecomando. Se il telecomando non è mai stato abbinato a

una fotocamera, l’abbinamento inizierà automaticamente. In caso contrario,
tenere premuto il pulsante Impostazioni/Tag per quattro secondi per
iniziare l’abbinamento. Una volta abbinati i dispositivi, viene visualizzato un
messaggio di conferma su entrambi gli schermi.

COLLEGARE IL TELECOMANDO AL TERMINE DELL’ABBINAMENTO

Dopo aver abbinato il telecomando alla fotocamera, si può avviare la connessione
dal menu Connessioni della fotocamera.

1. Accendere la fotocamera e il telecomando.

2. Eettuare le seguenti operazioni sulla fotocamera:
a. Dalla schermata principale, scorrere verso il basso.
b. Per attivare il wireless, toccare Preferenze > Connessioni > Connessioni

wireless. (Sulle fotocamere GoPro precedenti a HERO7 Black, toccare
Connessioni > Connessioni wireless.)

Attenzione: la fotocamera si connetterà al telecomando collegato più di recente.

Acquisire video e foto

Utilizzare il telecomando per acquisire video e foto con una o più fotocamere.

PER ACQUISIRE VIDEO O FOTO

1. Premere ripetutamente il pulsante Accensione/Modalità per passare alla
modalità desiderata.

2. Premere il pulsante Otturatore/Selezione per iniziare a registrare.

3. Per interrompere l'acquisizione video o il contenuto temporizzato, premere
nuovamente il pulsante Otturatore/Selezione.

Se la fotocamera esce dalla portata del telecomando mentre si sta registrando, la
registrazione continuerà nché non viene interrotta.

MODIFICARE LE PREIMPOSTAZIONI (HERO8 BLACK)

1. Premere il pulsante Impostazioni per visualizzare tutte le preimpostazioni
relative alla modalità selezionata.

2. Premere ripetutamente il pulsante Accensione/Modalità per scorrere le
preimpostazioni.

3. Premere il pulsante Otturatore/Selezione per selezionare la
preimpostazione desiderata.

SUGGERIMENTO DEGLI ESPERTI: per mettere in evidenza i momenti più
importanti, premere il pulsante Accensione/Modalità sul telecomando durante
la registrazione o la riproduzione. In questo modo, viene aggiunto un tag HiLight
che rende più facile ritrovarli in un secondo momento.

LE SEGUENTI FUNZIONI NON SONO DISPONIBILI QUANDO SI UTILIZZA IL

DE AFSTANDSBEDIENING A AN DE BAND BEVESTIGEN

Met de bevestigingsband bevestig je de afstandsbediening aan je pols, rugzak,
skistokken, etsframe en nog veel meer. De Smart Remote is waterdicht tot 10 m.

1. Haal de band door de gleuven aan de achterkant van de afstandsbediening.

2. Positioneer de afstandsbediening langs de band zoals getoond.

sleutelkoord, banden, autosleutels, ritsen enz.

1. Schuif en houd de vergrendeling in de richting van de pijl (A) en trek dan de
sleutel uit de afstandsbediening (B).

2. Maak de ring vast aan je sleutelkoord, banden, etc.

3. Druk de bevestigingssleutel in de opening tot je een klik hoort.

Je kunt de Smart Remote met elke GoPro met draadloze verbinding koppelen.
De afstandsbediening kan onder optimale omstandigheden tot 50 camera's*
tegelijkertijd op een afstand van 180 m bedienen. Je camera herkent slechts één
afstandsbediening tegelijk.

JE AFSTANDSBEDIENING KOPPELEN MET JE HERO8 BLACK OF
HERO7BLACK

1. Schakel de afstandsbediening uit.

2. Volg deze stappen op je camera:
a. Veeg naar beneden in het hoofdmenu.
b. Tik op Preferences (Voorkeuren) > Connections (Verbindingen) > Connect

Device (Apparaat verbinden) > Smart Remote (Slimme afstandsbediening).
De camera begint automatisch met koppelen.

c. Schakel de afstandsbediening in. De koppeling wordt automatisch gestart

als de afstandsbediening niet eerder met een camera gekoppeld is geweest.
Als dat niet het geval is, houd je de knop Instellingen/Tag vier seconden
ingedrukt om te beginnen met koppelen. Zodra de apparaten zijn gekoppeld,
verschijnt er een bevestiging op elk scherm.

JE AFSTANDSBEDIENING VERBINDEN NA KOPPELEN

Nadat je je afstandsbediening en camera hebt gekoppeld, kun je verbinding maken
via het cameramenu Verbindingen.

1. Schakel je afstandsbediening en camera in.

2. Volg deze stappen op je camera:
a. Veeg naar beneden in het hoofdmenu.
b. Tik op Preferences (Voorkeuren) > Connections (Verbindingen) >

Wireless Connections (Draadloze verbindingen) om de draadloze functie
in te schakelen. (Tik op GoPro-camera's ouder dan de HERO7 Black op
Verbindingen > Draadloze verbindingen.)

Let op: je camera maakt verbinding met de afstandsbediening waarmee als laatste
een verbinding tot stand is gebracht.

Video's en foto's vastleggen

Gebruik de afstandsbediening om met één of meerdere camera's video op te
nemen en foto's te maken.

OM VIDEO'S OP TE NEMEN OF FOTO'S TE MAKEN

1. Druk herhaaldelijk op de Aan-uit-/modusknop tot je bij de gewenste
modusbent.

2. Druk op de Sluiter-/selectieknop om te beginnen met opnemen.

3. Druk opnieuw op de Sluiter-/selectieknop om te stoppen met het maken van
een video-opname of timelapse.

Als je camera buiten bereik van de afstandsbediening raakt terwijl je opnamen
maakt, blijft de camera opnamen maken tot je deze zelf stopt.

VOORINSTELLINGEN WIJZIGEN (HERO8 BLACK)

4. Druk op de knop Instellingen om alle voorinstellingen voor de
geselecteerde modus weer te geven.

5. Druk herhaaldelijk op de Aan-uit-/modusknop om door de voorinstellingen
te bladeren.

6. Druk op de knop Sluiter/selectieknop om de gewenste voorinstelling
teselecteren.

PRO TIP: Markeer je favoriete momenten door tijdens het opnemen/afspelen
op de Aan-uit-/modusknop te drukken. Hiermee voeg je een HiLight-tag toe
waarmee je deze momenten later gemakkelijker kunt terugvinden.
