IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
PRE FITTED MAINS PLUGS
For your convenience a mains plug has been fitted to this appliance. For your safety please observe the following information.
1. Should the fuse in the plug fail remove the plug from the wall socket and replace the fuse with a 3 Amp ASTA approved to BS 1362 fuse.
2. Never use the plug without the fuse cover fitted. Replacement fuse covers are available from your dealer or most electrical retail outlets.
3. If the mains plug is cut off the cable, rewire the replacement plug in accordance with instruction given in this manual.
4. CAUTION : Under no circumstances should the discarded plug be inserted into the mains socket.To prevent a shock hazard carefully dispose of the discarded plug. Do not leave the plug lying around where children might see it.
WARNING:To prevent fire or shock hazard do not expose this unit to rain or moisture. Clean only with a dry or damp cloth. Always unplug the unit from the mains supply before cleaning.

To completely disconnect from the power supply, the mains plug of the apparatus must be disconnected from the mains completely. The mains plug must not be obstructed OR must be easily accessed during intended use.

PLAYER ZONES
For the purpose of distribution of DVD Discs, the world has been separated into 6 zones. The zone your player is intended for is indicated on the Zone Label. This should be the same as the label on discs available in your region. If you have any difficulties in playing a disc, make sure that the disc is for the same zone as your player which for this model is region 2.
INST ALLATION
Install your DVD micro system on a stable flat surface. The unit should be situated with enough space around it so that proper heat ventilation is assured. Allow 20 cm clearance from the rear and the top of the unit, and 10 cm from each side.
Caution :
Do not install this equipment in confined space with poor ventilation.

CONNECTIONS
1) Connecting to TV
Use the supplied SCART cable to connect the DVD micro system to the TV as shown below:

Note: The switch on the rear panel must be in the SCART position.
The unit can also be connected to the TV using the component connection as shown below:

2) Connecting to the Speakers
This speaker utilises a bi-amplifier to give superior sound. This means that there are two sets of cable for each speaker. Please ensure that when wiring the colours are observed as shown below. (i.e. the blue cables are connected to the blue terminals and the red cables are connected to the red terminals)
CONNECTING TO SPEAKERS
Note: If the speaker wires are wrongly connected or short circuit inside the speakers, the system
will be shut down by protection circuit. The micro system can be reset by unplugging from the mains and then plugging back after correcting the error.
