• Apply label 55-537441P001 to the front of the ASTAT cover. This label should cover the entire
face of the ASTAT top cover. This label shows the new terminal assi gnments.

• The #1 board (logi c board) has changed from ASTAT to ASTAT Plus. See service instru ctions
DEH-40418 (ASTAT-CD Plus), or DEH-40417 (ASTAT-IBP Plus) for replacement instructio ns .

Note: Be sure to follow the setup procedures outlined in DEH-40397 (ASTAT-CD Plus), or
DEH-40396 (ASTAT-IBP Plu s ) after replacing the logic board.

• RS-232 communications is now a standard feature on ASTAT Plus. The commu nications board
is now obsolete. If the ASTAT is equipped with a communications board, it should be removed.
RS-232 communications may be established by following the instructi o ns fo u nd in DEH-40397
(ASTAT-CD Plus), or DEH-40396 (ASTAT-IBP Plus).
