iCentral
Comprehensive clinical intelligence
During a hospital stay, patients are frequently moved from
one care area to another. However, caregivers must have access
to the most current, relevant patient data – regardless of where
it was collected – in order to help them make informed
care decisions.
iCentral central stations capture in-hospital monitoring history
throughout the patient’s stay, helping to ensure continuity
across care areas. Information can be presented in organspecic and other customizable views to make it fast and easy
for caregivers to get the information they need.
iCentral integrates information from monitors on both the
CARESCAPE™ and S/5 monitoring networks so caregivers can
have a mix of monitors at the bedside and a central point
for viewing.
Access to the
whole clinical picture
iCentral presents real-time and historical patient information, including
up to 72 hours of full disclosure data. Patient monitoring data is also
accessible using CARESCAPE Mobile Viewers,™ allowing providers to
monitor a patient’s status while away from the bedside.
Clinicians are alerted to critical situations with visual and audible alarming
for patients connected to the iCentral. Caregivers can choose from 23
waveforms to display organ-specic views with snapshots on cardiac,
circulation, ventilation and neurological waveforms simultaneously.
In addition, an integrated web browser enables easy access to external
web-based information resources.
iCentral connects data through central-to-central links or through iCentral
Clients. The system can support up to 32 iCentrals, 32 iCentral Clients and
1,024 patient monitors on the network for maximum scalability.
