With rugged construction and quality-assured parts, V228 engines are capable of operating cost-eectively for

more than 20 years. Most components can go without overhaul for up to 40,000 hours on a typical marine duty

A high-capacity turbocharger, electronic fuel injection and ecient combustion management come together
