Step 2: Configure Your c330
The first time you turn on the unit, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your c330. You only have to do this once.

Step 4: Follow Your Route
Follow the route to your destination using the Map page. As you travel, your c330 guides you to your destination with voice prompts, arrows on the map, and directions at the top of the Map page. If you depart from the original route, your c330 voice announces that you are off-route and then provides new route instructions.
Tension knob
Fit the bottom of your c330 into the cradle of the suction cup mount.
Tilt your c330 back until it snaps in place.
Place the suction cup on your windshield.
Flip the lever back, toward the windshield.
To ensure a tight grip, clean and dry your windshield before you mount the suction cup. Plug the cable into a receptacle in your vehicle. If necessary, use the tension knob to loosen or tighten the tension in the mount to improve your viewing angle.
Your unit will turn on automatically if you have started your vehicle. To manually turn on your c330, press and hold the Power button
on the side of the unit. Refer to the image on the back of this sheet.
WARNING: For use in vehicles, it is the sole responsibility of the owner/operator of a vehicle with the c330 installed to place and secure the device so it will not interfere with the vehicle operating controls and safety devices, obstruct the driver’s view of driving conditions, or cause personal injury in the event of an accident.
NOTICE TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA DRIVERS: California Vehicle Code Section 26708 (a) (1) provides that drivers in California should not use suction mounts on their windshield or side or rear windows. Other Garmin dashboard or friction mounting options should be used. For available accessories, refer to the Garmin Web site at www.garmin.com. Also, refer to the Owner ’s Manual included mounting disk with the suction cup mount.

Viewing the Map Page
From the Menu page, touch View map to open the Map page. The position icon shows your
current location. Touch buttons on the Map page to see additional information.
Saving Places You Find
Touch to zoom out.
Touch
Menu to return to the
Menu page.

Trip Information page.

Setting a Home Location
You can set a Home location for the place you return to most often.
Touch the text bar to open the Current Route page.

Touch Turn In to open the Next Turn page.

After you have found a place you want to save, touch Save.
Touch OK in the pop-up window. The place is saved in My Locations > Favorites.
Finding Saved Places
From the Menu page, touch Where to? > My Locations > Favorites.
Select a place.
Adjusting the Backlight Brightness
From the Menu page, touch the brightness button to adjust the level of the backlight. Touch the minus (-) lightbulb to decrease the backlight brightness or the plus (+) lightbulb to increase the brightness. When you are finished, touch OK.

Select an option. Touch Where to? Touch My Locations. Touch Set Home.
Going Home
After you have set your Home location, you can route to it at any time by touching My Locations and then Go Home.
Changing Your Home Location
Change your Home location by repeating the steps you took to set it.
Adjusting the Volume
To adjust the volume, turn the Volume knob, located above the Power button.
Turning the c330 On and Off
Press and hold the Power button
on the side of the unit to turn it on and off.
